  1. Kolb hurt and out of game!
  2. Based on what Sideline told him. Was not his opinion... Said absolutely nothing wrong
  3. Bills feed just reported the Bills sideline said NOTHING IS WRONG with CJ.. 100%
  4. Wasnt just Dareus, Mario, shed thru OL and line had to move over to block him inside on stunt...
  5. Nice move inside by Mario
  6. Pass D looking AWFUL.... Pass rush better pick up...
  7. Loving Lawson.... Set corner perfect on sweep play
  8. CJ looks fine... Good thing watching Bills feed for updates! They shouldnt use him again in pre-season... MUST be healthy for Pats
  9. Spiller running between tackles for red-zone TD and gimpy after play..
  10. Woods, BETTER be starting opposite SJ13.. Great moves
  11. Just STARED CJ down the whole throw..
  12. Alot of 2nd stringers were in on D on the DL... Not excuse, cuz we will use sub packages alot, but Williams and Dareus were not on field on middle
  13. Watch on NFL.com preseason live, u get Bills feed!
  14. I'm not a Dr. but i did stay at a Holiday Inn express last night! lol
  15. Marrone rested a rookie in Alonso as "precautionary" even when everyone else said he was ready to go. The Bills core D is pretty much set, especially up front. Mixing in others with the 1's here and there and seeing what u got in some of those guys when playing with the 1's is so valuable. Perfect example is Hughes... As well all know, he was a beast in camp, but to get to see him dominate as he did vs Vikes validates him even more. Pettine and Marrone know what they got in Mario, and few others, just being careful.
  16. EXACTLY... how often do UDFA even MAKE a roster??? Normally they are just camp arms..
  17. People here are nuts... If EJ is not ready for week 1, unless Kolb gets hurt b4 opener, there is 0% chance the Tuel starts opener vs Pats. Kolb was brought in to compete for the starting gig, once we drafted EJ, the chances of that slimmed down but still, was thought to be short term option till EJ is ready. EJ has looked great so far and deserves the start IF healthy but if he is not ready, Kolb 100% gets the start. Tuel is an UDFA who has shown us nothing vs a defense that played their starters. He looked great vs Indy vs 3rd stringers and Indy is NOT the deepest team in league, especially on D. Last week he only had mop up duty so nothing to really base anything on and once regular season starts, speed of game picks up and things are totally different out there. With way our D has been playing, Kolb would be a much better game manager and has been there before. I dont care what his stats were last yr in win vs Pats, THEY WON. If we want to have a shot at winning that game, Kolb plays (unless EJ is ready obviously). Enough with this Tuel time stuff... Everyone always loves the backup! This reminds me of ppl falling in love with Hamdan back in the day and calling for him to get on field....
  18. Who are u??? Chan Gailey??? With all the positional battles we have going on, especially at WR, how can we possibly waste a valuable roster spot on an extra kicker??? In this day and age in NFL with players going down like flies, EVERY spot on roster in crucial.
  19. You know it's sad when a GM's best move was a kicker!
  20. Mclovin is a case of being a small school guy, and if you've heard guy in any interview, he is not sharpest tool in shed.... However, he had 1st round grades by all experts that yr and playing on a defense that had ZERO pass rush for years, makes CB look worse than they are cuz QB has all day to throw the ball. A good pass rush makes a lot of CB's look a hell of a lot better and i think this will be the year Mclovin blossoms into a solid starter as #2 CB. His development is extremely important for this D having a shutdown corner or other side and so many question marks about all the other young guys in battle for roster spots. Most importantly, we NEED the Byrd man back... Williams looks great a SS and with our new schemes, Byrd would be in for a monster year as a ball hawk on rushed/pressured throws. Searcy is a solid backup and good ST player but not a starting safety in NFL. Duke Williams and Meeks both have good upside, but i would not be comfortable seeing either of them on field vs Pats. Not only was it impressive, he completely DOMINATED Kalil who is a bigtime LT not some depth guy vying for a roster spot. He literally made Kalil look like Sam Young on the play!
  21. It was on the sack.... When he got up, he tried "jogging" off field but just didnt look 100%.
  22. They will use cluster off RB's. To replace all the production they got from TE's they will simply use scat backs like Vereen alot in passing game. This has been a big problem for us in past cuz its usually a LB matching up vs a RB. Also, the best way to beat the blitz is a lot of draws, screens and dink and dunk which Brady is a magician at... That's what i loved so much about EJ past 2 weeks. If u are successful with quick slants and dinks and dunks, do it till they STOP U! It certainly opens up 1 on 1's on the outside and we have PLENTY of speed to get past a CB or a safety who was too busy covering over middle looking for drop off to tailback. Our O is gonna be fun to watch and it will be a true test of this D week 1 vs our nemesis. I just hope , if they get torched, they dont let it effect them on next play. Brady WILL make plays
  23. I just cant wait to see Pettine's boys in this attacking D with the ultimate test to kick off season vs Tommy boy. The recipe to slowing him down is a ton of pressure and if we blitz as heavily and effectively as we have, i'm cautiously optimistic with Brady having to adjust to a bunch of new targets and a team that will be blitzing the house at him! That boy doesnt like to be hit and even when he gets off some passe with his quick release, i can see us still getting enough pressure to rattle him a bit.. I'm dying to see in a passing situation, having Kyle and Marcel inside and having Mario and Hughes coming off edges... throw in all the diff types of blitz packages Pettine's been showing (let alone the ones he HAS'NT shown YET!). I'm starting to get feeling we can make a good game of it if not pull it off. EJ has pretty much locked in QB1 and even if he isnt "great" in week 1, with this offense, we have some real play makers at skill positions and more speed than arguably ANY team between , EJ, CJ, and all the younsters in WR corp. A quick strike early, or a quick 1st down, then a heavy up tempo attack will get on a roll at some point and be able to put some points up. The key to beating the Pats is how do u stop Brady, and with Pettine and his new found toys on D, i have a feeling the Pats OL will be in for a LONG day in the opener! Which leads me to the question, does anyone know how they are looking so far in camp? I know Brady looked phenominal last night and had a perfect strike to Amendola who i think will be as good if not better than Welker... Hopefully they wont be fully on same page in week 1 and we can be the story of the NFL if we pull off an upset over the Pats with rookie QB at the helm!! Here is to optimism!! RC
  24. So very true... We had WAY too much talent on that D last yr to be one of the worst D;s in history... Going to be great seeing us be a top 10 D this yr with practically same core of players. With influx of playmakers like Kiko who will be an every down LB and guys like Lawson, Hughes (gotta find a way to have both him and Mario on field in passing situations.. Those 2 will wreak havoc on outside and Dareus and Kyle inside....
