  1. Fitz was robbed! I think they must have bumped him down a rank or two for these two reasons: 1. He signed with the Bills. 2. “I’m an Apple technology junkie.”
  2. :wallbash: :wallbash: The Bills did not cut TO.
  3. Not bad. Waits was my favorite on the first page, too.
  4. :worthy:
  5. How did Tebow find his way into this discussion? Tebow wasn't available in the 2nd round, was in NO way a viable pick early in the first and would have been of no help THIS year. I'm one of the few that think perhaps, at some point, Tebow will make an impact. But if it is going to be as a traditional QB, it will be with a team that gives him time to throw. Even after supposedly reworking his throwing motion, he has a big windup and takes a LONG time to get rid of the ball. But at least he isn't timid when it comes to letting it go. As for Clausen, this has been discussed to death, but I find no reason to believe Nix loved him as a QB, but decided to pick Troup instead.
  6. You saw that? I sure didn't. I saw a seemingly drunk Giant's fan trying to stand on a railing next to the Idiot, and while being touched fall back to the stands, but not to the ground. In the NFL that's what's called "Incidental Contact"
  7. Some of these are truly classic: http://mobile.twitter.com/discographies
  8. See, that's a much better defense. I see you're laying the foundation even now.
  9. Can't believe it myself. Maybe the all caps threw me. Of course, I'm not a consumer of the media that promotes "Brangelina" and crap like that.
  10. Why? The Giants fan was charged with disorderly conduct? I can't see why anyone is charged with, or sued for, anything here. I'd charge Ed for being a douchebag, but that's about all.
  11. A man with a plan. I love it.
  12. Yes, I understand you were basing that solely on the performance against the Pats...but still... In some ways, Fitz is like Holcomb, but with a much better skill-set.
  13. Realistically, the promise of this season wasn't winning the Super Bowl or even getting a playoff berth. It was progress in several areas and a team that looked to be moving forward to be a real competitor in the next couple of years. I don't think 2 losses kill that promise.
  14. I'm no Cutler fan, but he operates under pressure far better than Trent. First of all, he can actually throw on the run, something Trent had failed to master. Does he throw INTS? He sure does. He also throws TD passes. I know this will sound weird, but I would have more faith in Trent eventually becoming a legit QB if he threw an INT once in a while. (I know he has 2 INTS, but they aren't the kind I'm talking about.) I'd be happier if Trent threw deep on a risky throw, which would result in the occasionally turnover. He plays it FAR too safe. While it may limit turnovers, it severely limits his production and does nothing to stretch the field and loosen up the D.
  15. The cat defense is certainly bizarre and suggests (at least to me) this guy might be guilty. But anyone could have pictures (including child porn) on their computer without having downloaded them intentionally, or even having viewed them. Unfortunately law enforcement is woefully behind in this area, and anyone can be accused, and even convicted, of computer-related crimes of which they are totally unaware.
  16. It should be noted that, in Morse Code, a "full stop" which takes the place of the period, is not the same as the word "stop". A full stop is ".-.-.-"
  17. I think he may have overstated his case a bit, but he has a point. There are QBs who have performed pretty well, overall, with a weak offensive line. Most (maybe all) QBs suffer with pressure. Joe Montana was no exception. But it is hard to argue that Big Ben and Arron Rodgers, to name two recent QBs, have performed well with poor OLs. Montana and Brady aren't the best examples of these QBs, by the way. They rarely dealt with pressure for an entire game. But I think its fair to say consistent pressure is detrimental to QB performance. But not all QBs respond equally well (or poorly) to pressure. Trent seems to perform unusually poorly under pressure, to the point he performs poorly if there isn't pressure. To make matters worse, he doesn't perform well while on the run/rolling out. Clearly there are QBs who excel at that.
  18. Don't you just love it?
  19. To be honest, I'm shocked a company of this size, particularly one that relies on their image with students and student-aged users, doesn't have someone assigned to deal with this sort of request. She might be whiny and sound entitled, but Jobs' response was rude and uncalled for. Apparently he's so damn rich he doesn't give a rat's ass about his customers anymore.

  21. You took to the indoctrination very well, didn't you, ICE?
