  1. Where did we get that idea? Sorry for the accusation if it isn't true.
  2. Redheaded women: the most wonderful and troublesome creatures on earth. I can certainly understand the devastation a single 5'2" redhead can cause. Been there. More than once. But to call a woman who has cheated on you "perfect" suggests some other issues. Nobody is perfect, and she has already shown you one ENORMOUS flaw. Be thankful you met her and had the opportunity to bask in her wonder. Also be thankful you got out before she completely destroyed you. I know you think you're destroyed now, but you aren't. Keep up the blubbering and begging, and who knows?
  3. Agreed. From what I saw, he was horrible. OTOH, whenever I looked up to check out the Stanford game, Luck was making a sound/intelligent play. I know his stats weren't great, but he looked like a real QB. But he is likely to stay in school another year, it seems.
  4. I see. So what you are really saying is, even though Belicheat believed he was gaining an advantage by taping teams, he wasn't. So now you think you know more than the coach whose balls you regularly tongue-bath on this board? Damn, you really are arrogant!
  5. I don't think it makes a difference on who starts, when it comes to wins and losses. You have to think, even if Fred starts, Marshawn gets his share of carries. I would expect the coach to go to the hot back, no matter who starts, in order to win the game. But starting Lynch (if he performs well, of course) might help his trade value a bit.
  6. Yes, I'm sure Bill was very very honest in his "explanation". How DARE we doubt his intentions?
  7. SOME participants are going to try and find was to circumvent the rules. They are called "cheaters". And to address WEO's typically stupid question, if the Pats* thought taping gave them no better edge than simply stealing signals, why did they bother to do it? Clearly they MUST have believed taping gave them an edge. Otherwise why devote the manpower, tape and risk getting caught? As usual, WEO's "logic" fails to hold water.
  8. Quite the opposite, actually. History is written by the WINNERS.
  9. So, you have nothing, right? You are simply making all this up. Just admit it.
  10. Perhaps you slept through last season, it's perfectly understandable. Lynch looked like crap last year. It might help trade value to demonstrate that 2009 was a fluke, and Lynch is still the beast.
  11. Do you recall the vindictive cop story arc from House a couple/few years ago?
  12. Correct. And Exercise Science is a legit sports medicine track and probably an excellent major for a student looking to go to med school.
  13. Clear evidence of a moron.
  14. Hence my characterization of the nurse as "stupid". Of course, we both know the police officer knew she wasn't actually threatening him. He made the complaint simply to screw with the nurse, who was angry at getting stopped. Hence my characterization of the cop as a "douchebag". Some people need to grow the fu@# up.
  15. Where's the proof? I see some shabby purported evidence. based on distorted camera angles, but no proof. As Buftex notes, the most complete scientific analysis I have seen suggests the ball was thrown forward. Either way, why bring this up now, in a Bills forum? Actually, this post contributes to the ton of evidence which points to Wilson as the douchiest of the TSW posters. A POS troll to be sure.
  16. Please. He was let off with a slap on the wrist from the legal system and virtually no punishment whatsoever from the NFL. And I guess since he hasn't been arrested again since leaving jail, we have to assume he is "keeping his nose clean"? What a farce.
  17. That's pretty good. But I have gone Mac and gone back. I seem to be the exception, though.
  18. I see you like to make stuff up in multiple threads.
  19. Stupid nurse, douchebag cop.
  20. I think the issue here is your memory. There were at least three in-season trades last season: The Panthers traded Tank Williams to the Chiefs for a 5th rd pick in October 2009. Cleveland traded Braylon Edwards to the Jets for two players and two draft picks in October 2009. Miami traded Tyler Thigpen to KC for a draft pick in late September 2009. And it's very hard to believe you don't remember that Detroit traded Roy Williams and a 7th to the Cowboys for three picks in October 2008. Is trading during the season rampant? No. But it is hardly as rare as some posters have been suggesting.
  21. Yes, my bad. Sorry. I was talking about the most recent wave of incompetence. But you make a good point (even if it isn't the point you were going for). The Bills have looked FAR worse in the past than they have recently. And they have recovered. Maybe that's why many of us old-timers don't act like whiny Chicken Littles when things aren't going well. Care to supply one speck of evidence for that statement? I have no special inside source, but I do have some contacts who do. Tebow was NEVER on the Bills radar for the early rounds, from what I heard before and after the draft. They would NOT have taken Tebow in the 2nd round had he been available, is what I was told before and after the draft.
  22. Me too. I also think they were showcasing Lynch for a possible trade (don't believe everything the HC/GM says in the papers). They may still be doing that, to a degree. But I also think Chan is still getting a feel for which back does what best AND he's still getting a feel for the rhythm of the offense. I know we would all prefer to not see players and coaches have to make these kind of adjustments during the season. "That's what preseason is for!" But realistically, I understand that isn't always the way it goes. I'm willing to give the new staff the benefit of the doubt if they show progress, and demonstrate they aren't afraid to make adjustments during the game and during the week. Yup. The hand might have contributed, but you have dropped passes or have and increased risk for fumbles.
  23. I don't take two games of data as evidence of anything too global, actually. I'm not happy with the Bills performance in the past few years, but they have never been the worst, or even the second or third worst team in football. I don't assume, based on two bad weeks, they now no longer play professional football in Buffalo. But some here, and you seem to fit the bill, seem to think the situation is hopeless. You seem joyless when discussing the Bills and some have decided they will never improve (at least as long as Ralph owns them) and are on the verge of moving. I just wonder how you can root for a team, and take the time to discuss them if they make you that miserable.
  24. Correct. I'm more worried about the schmo who has to deal with the local yokels in some podunk community. They can lack the proper training, but excel in the aggressive pursuit of the political capital associated with publicizing a porn bust. It's also less likely in these cases (as in the Amero case) the defense attorneys are savvy enough to properly protect their clients. I have MUCH more faith in the Feds.
