You took to the indoctrination very well, didn't you, ICE? -

Prices are set to maximize the amount of revenue the team can get out of the stadium capacity every Sunday. There is no reason to believe the prices would be lower if the players made 1/2 as much in salary. -
I don't disagree with that. I felt the same way about JP. But that isn't going to happen THIS Sunday, and the coach has to try with the players he has. I find it hard to believe any player on offense would be surprised if the coach gave another player a shot to start, given what they have produced. But that is especially true of the QB.

Most corporations have RISK involved. The only risk the NFL owners have is if they make their franchises worthless by using lesser athletes. The NFL doesn't make widgets, nor does it simply hold football games. It is what it is because of the enormous talent of the athletes it employees. Yes the players made their choice. So did the owners when they invested in a (can't miss) professional sports franchise that pays start athletes millions to play. My point is, there isn't a "good guy" in this scenario. But I'll take the worker, who actually has something to lose, over the corporate billionaire if I'm forced to choose. -
Only a loser wouldn't use stats, to some degree. But stats w/o context are fairly useless...just like words like "winner" and "leader". An intelligent analysis requires looking at more than one thing.

Seriously? Hartman was a great talent. One of the best ever on SNL. -

The owners don't? The owners are billionaires, for the most part. They have invested in a can't-lose business, that they bought as a toy...for prestige. They don't risk ANYTHING. NFL teams never lose money. But if they did, and the owner took a bath, they still have their main businesses and fortunes in tact. The players, on the other hand, risk almost EVERYTHING. Most have done little except prepare to for this job for most of their lives. This is the one thing they are trained for that doesn't pay $10/hour. If they get hurt, they lose it all. If they are lucky and have a long career, they are likely to end up physical screwed. Many doomed to die at an early age. Now, I'm not suggesting the players deserve more money, they make plenty. But the owners make plenty more. And you know as well as I the owners aren't going to lower ticket prices, because they are greedy, too. They might lower prices for a time while SCABS play, but if/when they can fill the stadium at $100 a seat, they WILL charge it, because that's the way the business is run. I watch the NFL to watch the BEST athletes play. If I'm going to watch bums, I'll watch some local semi-pro team, or the Bills. -

It happens all the time... Good song! -
You are suggesting that, in one offseason, Buddy should have fixed all the Bills problems? You always have posted stupid nonsense. But even if you say they haven't made the right moves in acquiring personnel, you still have to play the hand you're dealt. Apparently, you think, in this game of draw, the Bills should stand pat no matter how bad their hand. Of course, you know and we all know Trent wasn't Chan's "hand picked" QB. That's simply sophistry.

Sounds like it is more than stream "quality", as some say they simply can't get a stream at all at times. I would argue that is withholding service. -
A change HAS to be made. Can you change the entire offensive line in one week? This is what happens when offenses don't perform. The QB sits. That's football, Pete and you should know it. You do understand that some QBs handle pressure better than others, right? Isn't it possible that a different QB could produce some different results with the same offense? I don't think anyone believes the offense becomes dynamic under Fitz, but Chan has to try something and QB is the right place to start. Forget the poor line for a moment. Do you honestly believe Trent has performed well so far this season? You think the starting QB slot belongs to him no matter how poorly he performs?

Have they already charged you the full amount? If not you can simply tell the CC company to make no further payments, of course. But even if you did fully pay, you can file a grievance through the CC company, I imagine. They've admitted they are at fault. Document the conversation and tell Visa/Mastercard/AMEX/whatever you have been defrauded. -

Yo to Schuh, Koz and all. Go Bills!

I hear that.

Honestly Nick, I have the exact opposite reaction. I think this renews hope for the season, and the franchise in the near future. I'm not suggesting that Trent was the only issue and removing him means the team will now be a powerhouse. But I find comfort in Chan's willingness to make some changes and adapt, to see what can be salvaged from this mess.

There are a number of free programs and online sites, that will shrink the size/information in a gif/jpeg files. Some are better than others and some pictures are more readily reduced. I'd bet you can get that picture down to a very manageable size. Here's an online gif and jpeg reducer. Dunno if these site are the best, but it couldn't hurt to start here: http://www.gifreducer.com/ http://www.jpegreducer.com/

And you call yourself a geek?

Does it involve programming or software of any type?

By saying "personally chosen starter" you make it sound as though Trent was Chan's dream come true at QB. That's preposterous. With the time/tape and actually face to face experience he had with the QBs, Chan gave Trent the nod to start the season It isn't like he was "The Chosen One". I like the fact that Chan isn't married to any one player, and is willing to make changes, even dramatic changes, to turn things around. This is a GOOD thing, but a bad one.

Toto was overrated, I think. It was easy to overrate them. Jeff Porcaro was a fabulous drummer who played with a wide variety of first rate musicians. If you just listen to many of Toto's songs (let's put aside such travesties as Africa or Rosanna) without the lyrics, you might say, "These guys can play. This is well composed, and relatively sophisticated music." You might say that. But after listening to their juvenile lyrics, and suffering through their unbearable hits, you'd quickly notice they make dreck, in very fancy clothing. Since I think very few take the time to actually listen, carefully, to music, I think many think they are/were a good band. -
