I thought the D would keep the Bills in the game, but did NOT expect this. Figured the spread was WAY too low. So I'll have some crow. I like mine braised, in some wine, with garlic and herbs.

If you'd actually read the Wiki article you posted, you'd have seen this:

I think the choices should have been: Standing Buffalo or Buffalo with a Ribbon. That has to be one of the worst depictions of motion I have ever seen on professional graphics. Standing Buffalo all the way, for this old guy. I actually like your logo's buffalo, VM.

The Best Damn Band in the Land performing at Bills v TB!
The Dean replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Marching bands are the only kind of entertainment I think appropriate, at a football game. And a really good band is a joy to watch. OSU, USC, and most of the big schools have good bands. I was always a fan of the traditionally black college bands, but I haven't seen too many examples, in recent years. Major exceptions are the bands from Florida Southern and Southern University and A&M College (the "Human Jukebox"). I also think Stanford's band is very fun to watch---and, let's face it, completely crazy at times. -

This thread is a perfect example of why I rarely post (or read too much) of the board, anymore. And, yes I understand many couldn't care less and others are very happy I'm not around. It was a sub-par pass, but it wasn't "horrible". It wasn't "uncatchable" but it would have been a terrific catch. I assume they drafted Zay to make terrific catches, from time-to-time. If Tyrod wants to stick around, he needs to have better placement on the ball. Both share some blame. Pass should have been better, and the pass should have been caught. My guess is, after a play like this, both guys say "my bad" to each other on the sideline. Bottom line, the Bills don't have a very good offense, right now. You will know when that changes, when this kind of play gets completed---whatever it takes to get there. -
Becker's only lead vocal on a SD (studio album) tune. One of my favorite of the 21st Century Dan.
-
If you get the chance to see Donald Fagen and the Nightflyers, I strongly encourage you to do so. He's touring with SD and also with a group of young musicians who've played together in Woodstock, for years. The play SD and some Fagen solo stuff, as well as some pretty great covers. A bit rawer than SD, but still incredibly tight and of very high quality (hey, it's Fagen, after all). Don says he will carry on with SD. I'm sorta hoping he calls it the Steely Dan Band, or something. But I'm also guessing Walt wouldn't (and certainly doesn't) care, either way.

Something to honor Walter Becker.

A dark day for music, indeed. Becker added much of the darkness and snark in Steely Dan's music. His second solo album, Circus Money, is criminally underrated/relatively unknown. RIP, Walt.

Toronto's great Don Breithaupt's band. Great lyrics, too. https://youtu.be/bVrno_e6VWA

I've been worse. I haven't been around much, either. I'll touch base over the summer.

Wow, terrific story. Pete. As most have already posted, it says a lot about you and that fine young man. How the hell you been, anyway?

Congrats. Have a couple drinks at the airport---and a couple more on the plane. Well, it works for me. -

Fortunately, if I marched into my bosses offices and announce what you suggest, my boss would laugh his ass off. Then again, my boss is now ME. There are many positives to being your own boss, as you can imagine. But I tell you, I'd never work this hard, for as little money as I make, for anyone else. The guy is a freaking slave driver! Then again, I never have to lie to him, if I need a day off. And it's nice to not have to work for a complete idiot. ("Complete" being the operative word, here.) -
Adam West, Star of 60's Batman TV show is dead

Just catching up. Good luck, whatever happens. I just have to say I'm shocked at all the comments like "working for a woman sucks" and those of that nature. Seriously? EVOLVE! Some of my best, and worst bosses have been women. Actually I find working for most anyone sucks, if they aren't particularly bright, or a good manager. Their genitals play a very minor part. -

RIP, Mr West. Best TV Batman of all time (by default, pretty much, I think). With that said, it was pretty repetitive. Funny for about 10 minutes, IMO. But that's how I feel about most broad comedy. Adam West was quick to laugh at himself, which is a bit plus in my book. Best Batman of all time? Michael Keaton---and it isn't close. -
Checked Google Maps as soon as I saw this post. Maybe, just maybe, a weekend road trip would be in order. But 6+ hours is longer than I need to drive, for wings. There was a time I would have considered it, as Atlanta was the nearest Trader Joes to me. So, I wouldda made it a 2-fer trip---maybe caught a game of some sort, in the ATL, too. But we now have a TJ's in Ponte Vedra. The good old days. Started going to a bar in 8th grade, on the way home from school. We'd order 25 cent drafts and eat free popcorn. The owner/bartender must have been in her 80's and half-blind. I'm guessing she had no idea how young we were. I'm guessing they had a deal with the local cops, Still, if a cop came into the bar, we'd put our face in a newspaper (or some other reading material) and shake nervously until the cop left. Never had an issue, though. But generally, 16 was the age when I could get into to many bars, in Niagara Falls. Probably had our pick of five, or more, by that time. The problem with the Publix Sahlen's is, they have collagen skins, and not the natural casing. At least that' the case for those I've seen in Publix, and other places in Florida. Not bad, but nothing compares to the natural casing, IMO.

You clearly missed my point, but that's OK. Several others have, too. BTW, see "Shadymccoy" at the top, right hand side of the photo? To me, this indicates it was shared on some social media. Just stupid.

Only because I know you aren't a troll, nor a total idiot, I will respond. No shift whatsoever. What I meant, and believe I said, from the get-go. Just fleshed it out a bit more for the learning impaired.
