  1. First of all, you think Beane drafted someone in the second round when he had another player rated higher? Really? I can see if that player was a DB, since he took Elam in the first round. But we see that doesn't even necessarily hold, by looking at last year's draft. But I think we disagree on how the board is built to begin with. I believe it is built WITH team needs in mind. Putting aside this year, as it was a week QB class, do you think the Bills would have had ANY QBs on their board in the first few rounds? Why would they when they KNOW they have no interest in drafting one? When drafting don't you think they consider whether the players style, strengths and weaknesses, character, personality mesh with this team as currently constructed? This isn't a rebuild where the GM is simply looking for talent, when they don't necessarily know if the head coach will even be with the team in a year or two. This is an established team with a terrific roster (I think some don't take that into consideration) and a HC who isn't going anywhere. They are looking for (and I believe grading) players who fit THIS team. Not some hypothetical team. A very highly regarded MLB thumper who might rank high on many teams boards, might be much much lower on the Bills' board. Understand where I'm coming from?
  2. Take that back! I've never been able to stand Nugent's or Kid Rock's music, so there's nothing for me to reconcile here.
  3. Name a name, then. Who should they have picked and in what round? Saying "they should have picked a WR" without a name and round is an opinion, I suppose. But it's an opinion with no teeth. They DID pick a WR. They picked a WR they thought was among the best in the draft. Who cares what round they got him in, IF they are correct about him? Except Kumerow isn't THE backup outside WR. He's A backup WR. Most teams have at least one far worse than him.
  4. Agreed. There are plenty of artists I can enjoy who I think are totally crazy when it comes to their political view. And many who I tend to agree with politically, but whose music I can't stand. To thinking people they are two separate things and can be compartmentalized.
  5. If Brady had played in Buffalo, would his nickname have been "Commander Tom"? Food for thought
  6. So what you are saying (even if you didn't realize it) is you would have preferred Beane abandon the board and the teams' evaluations on prospects, and draft a player they didn't have highly enough ranked at that spot in the draft. As you know, Beane loves to trade too. So even if they didn't like a WR at that draft position, had they been eyeing a WR they liked there they might have traded down---if the deal was right. So what did you want the Bills to do. Ignore their player evaluation? Good thing you will never be a GM.
  7. Crosby actually seems WAY less douchey these days. I think he finally grew up and realized what an idiot he was. His recent music is pretty damn good, too. IMO of course. Waters is still a douche, I believe.
  8. Let's hope it isn't TOO different. Why screw with a good great thing?
  9. The total bill was $300, so I don't know as I never had DTV and had no streaming access to it's other channels. That might change this year with the general DTV Online option. The total bill was $300, so I don't know as I never had DTV and had no streaming access to it's other channels. That might change this year with the general DTV Online option. To be clear, live in an apartment. Small 100+ year old house converted into apartments. So they never challenged my ability to bypass the dish itself. I suppose I could have used almost any address. Again I think that changed recently for regular DTV service. I just don't know if you can get the Ticket without getting the online DTV now.
  10. Thanks. I went through the ame procedure. This is the only place I could find that doesn't say "not available". Not sure it it's actually In Stock, as stated, though: https://snappydelivery.ca/product/molson-stock-ale/
  11. Horrible and so sad. I have to admit, however, the dark side of me is wondering how much dental floss was lost in the accident. Sorry. Very Sorry.
  12. WooHoo! Great to hear. Good wishes for Mazie still coming.
  13. I'm a "never use music in highlight videos" kind of guy. But this wasn't horrible, IMO. While I believe I knew before that, I'll admit that was when I shouted out loud "That's the QB we've been waiting for!"
  14. Because he sings it both ways, that's why:
  15. While I haven't had it in a long time, I actually thought Genesee 12 Horse Ale was fairly decent. Do they still make it? I also liked Ballantine XXX Ale and Yuengling Lord Chesterfield Ale. Old men beer, even when I was young.
  16. While I'm not sure I agree with the tweet, the "good guy with a gun" was stupid and dead the moment it was uttered, IMO. Appretenly LaPierre wasn't/isn't aware of hostage negotiators and such.
  17. That's exactly my impression from this. Not a rumor. Just a hoax and a joke. But it's on the Internet. It must be true!
  18. Well there goes 2 hours of online research gone to hell! 😂 Ok Thanks for the clarification. I can get some sleep tonight after all.
  19. Also consider the participation aspect. Bowling used to be a tremendously popular sport---if you count participating in it to be a sport. Ping Pong, especially in China, from what I hear. Darts? Just considering the possibilities and why I rarely get satisfaction from claims of #1 or Most popular, unless the criteria and methodology is all spelled out.. The raw data is pretty nice to have, too. But that's asking for a bit much, I know.
  20. Say what? Labatts Blue splits? I've never seen one, or even knew they existed. I doubt they're distributed around St Augustine. But I'm going to search now. I tend to like any beer better in a split. So I'm always on the lookout. About the only ones I can find down here are Corona and maybe Bud/Bud Light. No interest in any of those. I'll do Rolling Rock ponies, though since they left Latrobe it doesn't seem the same. Still I can't find those either. I used to be able to find Heineken. But I haven't seen that anywhere in a couple years. For a really bad experience, try a 16oz can of OV. They used to be very inexpensive---and they were barely worth the price, IMO. Then again, like I said, I just like small beers better. For one, they stay cold for the entire time.
  21. Research guy question here. What's the criteria for calling something "the most popular" or "#1" sport? The number of people who participate in it? Overall revenue? Live attendance? TV ratings? Surveys of people's preferences? Etc. If it has anything to do with the sheer number of people who participate/watch/say it's their favorite sport, then the discussion must focus on China and India.
  22. I agree with that. Right now, I think it will be filled by more than one WR given the current state of the roster. But he is a WR backup. The Bills "official" depth chart isn't available yet. But this one from ESPN does a terrible job of guessing the WR rotation, IMO: https://www.espn.com/nfl/team/depth/_/name/buf/buffalo-bills
  23. What? He is a primarily a ST player. He is not a starting WR. But he is a backup WR, and probably not playing much in the slot. So yes, he is a backup to Diggs and Davis---and anyone else they might play at WR before relying in his contribution there. But how is he NOT a backup to Diggs and Davis?
  24. As much as I loved OV Splits, regular sized bottles of OV do very little for me
