The Media's Portrayal of Trump and His Presidency
ALF replied to Nanker's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Trump on pace to surpass 8 years of Obama's travel spending in 1 year Donald Trump's travel to his private club in Florida has cost over an estimated $20 million in his first 80 days as president, putting the president on pace in his first year of office to surpass former President Barack Obama's spending on travel for his entire eight years. Not only does Trump travel frequently, but New York City officials have said it costs between $127,000 to $146,000 a day to protect first lady Melania Trump when she is in New York and the president is not there. "The habitual vacationer, @BarackObama, is now in Hawaii. This vacation is costing taxpayers $4 milion +++ while there is 20% unemployment," Trump tweeted in 2011 with an incorrect unemployment figure. Trump later tweeted: "President @BarackObama's vacation is costing taxpayers millions of dollars——Unbelievable!" http://www.cnn.com/2017/04/10/politics/donald-trump-obama-travel-costs/index.html hypocrisy ? -

Neil Gorsuch - Nominee to the Supreme Court
ALF replied to Nanker's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
The democrats really messed up not voting for a moderate Gorsuch. Next time Trump can nominate a far right judge and just need 51 instead of 60 votes. -
It would be nice if Chad went UDFA and signed with the Bills. If he does not look good in preseason can go on the PS and hope to progress on and off field. If the Bills do not draft a QB earlier I would gamble the late 5th rd on him.

I thought the Rex hiring at first was a good choice. All he had to do was stay with a very good 4-3 built D with Schwartz still under contract ,bring in a good OC and Taylor. What he did to a good D was just insane. Did he want to get fired and walk away very rich ? -
yikes , good Muslims should revolt against the radicals and fight them. I know and like good Muslims here in WNY and they are welcome , what a shame
-
I don't understand , why do radical Muslims want to kill peaceful Christians who are no threat to them. Do radical Muslims want all Muslim refugees to be banned from Christian countries in Europe and the U.S. ? honest question

ALF replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Assad allies say U.S. attack on Syria air base crosses 'red lines' A joint command center made up of the forces of Russia, Iran and militias supporting Syrian President Bashar al Assad said the U.S. strike on a Syrian air base on Friday crossed "red lines" and it would respond to any new aggression and increase its support for its ally. "What America waged in an aggression on Syria is a crossing of red lines. From now on we will respond with force to any aggressor or any breach of red lines from whoever it is and America knows our ability to respond well," said the statement published by the group on media outlet Ilam al Harbi (War Media). http://www.reuters.com/article/us-mideast-crisis-syria-allies-idUSKBN17B0K7 -

The Deep State War Heats Up
ALF replied to Deranged Rhino's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
If that is what really happened like Syria and Putin said, jumping to a wrong conclusion , just like WMDs to justify invading Iraq. Chemical weapons in the hands of radicals/terrorists could be spread to use in other countries also. I doubt if anyone gets away with embarrassing Putin like that without serious consequences jmo -

No real proof yet the chemical weapon was not the rebels like Syria and Russia claim. Saudi extremists did 9/11 Saudi main funding of war against Assad ? Saudi war against Yemen rebels Yet Saudi is a U.S. ally for oil hmm jmo looking for the truth -

ALF replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
The decision to use military force against Syria marks a remarkable reversal for Trump. In 2013, he was a vocal critic of President Barack Obama's contemplation of strikes in Syria following President Bashar al-Assad's initial use of chemical weapons against his own people. "What will we get for bombing Syria besides more debt and a possible long term conflict?" Trump asked in one tweet. "Obama needs Congressional approval." http://www.cnn.com/2017/04/06/politics/trump-syria-foreign-policy/index.html?adkey=bn -
The U.S. has been supporting the rebels in Syria , just stop now. This will end in disaster.
