The U.S. Navy has decided on a new form of berth control. The USS Gerald R. Ford — the newest U.S. Navy aircraft carrier, and the first in its class of ships — is ditching urinals, introducing “gender neutral” bathrooms. Each sleeping quarter — what the Navy calls a berthing area — will have traditional porcelain bowls in the heads (or bathrooms) of the newly designed aircraft carrier, which can hold over 5,000 sailors. http://www.nydailynews.com/life-style/u-s-navy-aircraft-carrier-sets-sail-no-urinals-article-1.3352063 I couldn't believe that story having served on a destroyer

More close calls for U.S. military aircraft. Advisors in Syria at more risk. Russia could also ramp up cyber attacks.

ECMC spent nearly $10 million recovering from massive cyberattack Erie County Medical Center didn't pay a nearly $30,000 ransom demand to the perpetrators of a massive cyberattack in April, but the intrusion that brought down the hospital's computer systems will exact a very big cost. ECMC officials estimate expenses tied to the incident were nearly $10 million. About half of that amount is for computer hardware, software and assistance needed in the response. The other half represents a combination of increased expenses, such as for staff overtime pay, and lower revenues from the loss of business during the system down time. Perhaps most importantly, the Grider Street medical center increased its insurance coverage against such events last November from $2 million to $10 million, Quatroche said. He said he is confident the hospital can recover the ransomware-related costs in its insurance claim, and publicly thanked ECMC's general counsel, internal auditors and insurance broker for recommending the increased coverage http://buffalonews.com/2017/07/26/cost-ecmc-ransomware-incident-near-10-million/

Yates spent most of last season out of the league before latching on with the Dolphins in December following Ryan Tannehill's ACL tear. Yates has a history with new Bills OC Rick Dennison and will help teach the offense. http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/6603/tj-yates I sure hope Peterman and Cardale can show more then Yates -
Washington was driving a three-wheeled vehicle with an open top at the time, which implies that it was not possible for a weapon to be placed out of sight. We now know that the vehicle that Washington was arrested in was a Polaris Slingshot, which he was seen sitting in while engaging with police in NSFW video of the incident released by TMZ.com. You can watch the video by clicking this link. https://www.buffalorumblings.com/2017/7/24/16021516/buffalo-bills-dl-adolphus-washington-pleads-not-guilty-to-weapons-charge I think it gets dismissed , the important thing he looked sober in the police car video. That's a cool looking vehicle he has btw

If Beane wants to talk to Carolina about the GM job there, forcing him to stay here might not be good for the Bills

Scaramucci sorry for calling Trump a 'hack' with a 'big mouth' in 2015 During the presidential campaign two years ago, Anthony Scaramucci called President Trump "another hack politician" who is "anti-American." "You're an inherited money dude from Queens County. Bring it, Donald." Scaramucci added that Trump is "probably going to make Elizabeth Warren his vice presidential nominee." He even asked if Trump could be a "Democratic plant for Hillary Clinton." http://money.cnn.com/2017/07/21/investing/scaramucci-trump-sean-spicer-resigns/index.html?iid=surge-story-summary

– Drug companies tend to spend much more on advertising and marketing than research and development. Mitchell put the range at 20 to 40 percent versus "at most 15 percent to sometimes as little as a penny." Who ultimately pays for all those TV ads we see during news programs and sporting events? Taxpayers and patients who foot the cost of those drugs. – Nearly half of drug development research costs – including about 75 percent of new, innovative drugs – is borne by the federal government and government-funded research institutions, but it's unclear how this benefits American patients financially. http://buffalonews.com/2017/07/21/tired-cost-prescription-drugs-share-story/ enlightening article

ALF replied to billrooter's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Speaking with a source close to Henderson, I was pleased to learn that he is doing well, is healthy, passing his drug tests and getting his weight back under control. Although he still has to serve a 5-game suspension (part of his 10-game suspension handed last season), things are looking bright for the young right tackle. https://buffalowdown.com/2017/03/27/buffalo-bills-seantrel-henderson-update/ -
