  1. was Zay a failure vs not a fit given coaching changes? He has had a de ent career after buffalo instead of being out of football. i judge drsfted based on player career success irrelevant of where they played.
  2. Higgins was not a 1st rd pick. Davis is perfectly fine. Knox is fine. RBs aren’t the problrm its about play call and execution. many talked of being drained this season with everything. Cincinnati is not better. It comes down to game plan and execution
  3. to do an 8 team double elimination….. Make it easier…2 4-team groups….. For each group of 4 week 1 —-2 games against 4 teams G2 and G2 week 2 — winners face off in G3 , losers face off in G4 week 3 — Game 5 is G3L vs G4W week 4 — game 6 G3W vs G5W week 5 — rematch game 6 – asdume no more double elimination…. week 6 — group winners meet week 7 —winners meet la full 16 team double elimination would add more weeks.
  4. your premise was Bills not drafting WRs high. i said they traded their 1st for a WR. How do you not count that? as I also said ( you ignored)…. Look at the success rate in drafting WRs with top 20 picks. Even top 50 drsfted. Their is a high failure rate. They don’t plan wasting a pick on an unpredictable position. As for Hodgins….. he didn’t play STs which hurt him. Buffalo hasn’t had big injuries with Diggs/ Davis for him to get a shot. from a structure standpoint in buffalo 5 WRs on a team—2 outside and slot, one who has speed if the others don’t. The 5 the could go to a rookie. You might have another on the team for returning/ special teams. thsts common in the nfl if you are back ups behind 2 very good players snd don’t get a chance until a PS pluck on you are a FA.
  5. ummmm….they traded a 1st for Diggs…… look at success/ failure rate of WRs picked high in the draft like top 20. https://www.drafthistory.com/positions/wr.html
  6. hr had a bad injury in last year before being a free agent. Thr isdue was his injury and what would you get for him. you can’t measure coaches by Super Bowls in this league.
  7. what’s the point in the rebuttal…..same ***** different day after any loss
  8. thry have know each other a while. She’s in her early 60s. he didn’t marry some 20 something
  9. partnof thr plan around the 17 the gsmes was it to be a neutral site %( mostly international) of course thry could have it rotate among divisions and afc- nfc back and forth of international game hosts i don’t see this coming out if it was a road game.
  10. I’d hire him if our OC opens up or even have him as QB coach
  11. It’s not when I trial contact was made. Their feet also made contact. Thry colidaded and made contact on the side. read the actual rule book.
  12. it depends…was he a PS transfer to roster vs a cut. either way the giants coukd take him. It was reported as a claim from the PS that I read.
  13. there feet entangle causing the trip thrydont call that on pass plays. They aren’t calling that thrn. His push was more of a stumble and he braced against him. First contact was in the feet with both running.
  14. I wonder if chuck knoblauch can kick extra points…. if you don’t get the joke read his wiki profile
  15. it was not a block in the back. They collided and he fell. There was not a block in the back. You are allowed to fight for position when running and block from the side.
  16. I’ve seen a few games where they skip the 2 minute warning tv time out and just stop the click fir 30 seconds. as I said….. if you have many scoring attempts with FGs or XPs and this KOs will extend the game. in the 1st half each team scored 4 time with 9 KOs and other punts. Each KO adds about 2 minutes without a commercial break. the number of possessions in the first half was about the same as the entire ravens/ bengals game. 46 of 142 snaps were running plays. The rest we’re passing which added up on dead time because click stops.
  17. commercials wasnt the reason. when you have a bunch of KOs/ P/ possession changes and injury stoppages as well as play counts you make the game longer. in the game between it and ravens/ bengals MIA/BUF had 40+ more ball snaps…most were passes which stops clock. balt/ cin had something like 16 possession changes. MIA/BUF had something like 31. BUF/MIA had more scoring plays which involve XP/KOs vs punts and that adds time to the game which comes with ad breaks. Evrn without a commercial break it takes at least 2 minutes from XP try to KO ball….and the game clock isn’t running. in hockey….you have more goals and whistles and penalties you get a longer game in basketball you have high foul counts correlate to longer games…especially in late 4th quartet with fouls and time out usage snd subs. i haven’t been able to find the longest game played without OT or weather/ power outage delays. The stress could have killed her
  18. I agree with most of what you say Kummerow did ST he seemed to not do it. Kumerow got a ST roster spot. the way I look at the roster is you have the 3 standard ST slots of kicker, punter, and long snapper. You also have a few others like 2 captains for the units ( punt, FG, KO, punt) and a returner and gunner. as for slot. McKenzie and crowder are them. I see Shakir as a possible outside option…not a pure slot. you develop a very good team your hotyom level depth is usually better which is why good teams tend to get focused on in UFA signings and raiding PS. Another factor is familiarity. Giants gm was under Beane and coach was OC in buffalo so they knew much more about him than other teams.
  19. He was on bills PS and pulled by Giants because of their lack of WRs. thr thing is he was behind Davis and Diggs. He wasn’t a slot receiver. He was a ST gunner/ returner. buffalo would dress those 2 and a slot receiver and another one. Preferably one with the high speed which he diesnt have. if Davis/ Diggs got injured he might have gotten a shot. If they keep him on the roster, who do they kick off? On offense fir him? in a roster set up 7 ST players— P,K,LS, Returner, gunner, 2 captains 23 D. ..9 DL, 5/6 LB, 8/9 DB 21 O…2 QB, 9 OL, 4 WR, 3 RB, 2 TE. 1 RB/WR/TE 2 rookie spots or injury replacement spots
  20. The logic behind this… use the clock against them by making them do short plays burning the clock. If you go heavy pressure you run the risk of being caught on a big play 50 yd+ play
  21. Bessley TD was done on a WR screen. You runscreens when you think you d will over pursue. dhort pass plays can be an issue with batted balls and Allen throwing hard. the throw outs routes or option route of an out, in , or turnaround a draw is the same as a fake hand off or Allen doing a delayed run 2 seconds after the snap. thr conspt of a hot receiver relies on the rusher leaving coverage of the area the receiver goes.
  22. Brilliant….work on solving cold fusion…..
  23. the issue was he was behind receivers on the depth chart. He was plucked from the PS by a former asst GM and OC. Buffalo has a few draft picks either off if waiver or taking from the PS. this will happen again.
  24. the 4th and 8 was because of a Milano missed tackle. Beasley bobble pick should have been a penalty you also had just misses on plays shakir long throw and drop Davis end of half couldn’t get both feet in Brown mistake on the pic they easily could’ve put up over 50.
