He was a really good Bills CB---injuries took him just like what happened with Nate Odemes. Of course because the Bills havent been doing all that well he didnt get as much fame and respect as teams CBs who regularly made the playoffs.

I wouldnt call failing for 2 teams...... Philadelphia traded him to Arizona for a 2nd + CB Rogers-Cromartie. He got injured then vick took the job from him. In Arizona he had injuries.

The Bills play their game when a bunch other teams play so on friday night NFL network usually does a broadcast where they jump around to other games. One game is supposed to be on FOX, so the other 3 are ones that NFL network will show footage of. You will probably be able to see some of the action happening. NFL network will rebroadcast 16 games..if game takes 3 hrs to show, that is 48 hrs of broadcast time. them rebroadcasting a game about 36 hrs after the live game isnt all that much of a stretch. NFL network showed the Colts game live...through indy feed It will show the week 3 game against Washignton live as well (its the only game happening in that window).

Im not saying tuel should get a shot at the starter..... Because he went undrfted is irrelevent in who is the starter. In terms of track record on Tuel---Im much more familiar than many on this board by my living in the same state as Washington State Univ where he started. Had he gone to a bigger school in football he likely would have gotten more exposure and thus he likely wouldnt have fallen out of somehting like the 3rd-5th round. Many draft experts preseason last year had him as a 3rd-5th round pick. His draft stock fell in part because his skill set doesnt quite fit in with Mike Leach and he had is top WR kicked off the team mid season.

If Kolb can play: 1st Q Kolb starts--goes to mid 2nd,,,,,EJ does mid 2nd through end of 3rd, tuel for 4th game 2: Kolb/EJ play quarters 1-3, tuel plays 4th game 3: Kolb/EJ play quarters 1-2, tuel plays 4th---In one of these 2 games EJ gets to start If Kolb cant: EJ 1st-mid 2nd, Tuel mid 2nd-3rd, 4th Brad Smith. If Brad smith doesnt then its half each. game 2: Kolb first half, EJ plays 3rd, Tuel plays 4th game 3: Kolb/EJ play quarters 1-3, tuel plays 4th game 4----each QB does 1-2 possessions, Tuel does about 2 Quarters, Smith does the last half of the 4th.

Dont know the terms of this contract change....The reason he has been kept around..... 1. After SJ there isnt much experience in the receivers 2. He has special teams experience 3. He is an emergency QB...may get some time at QB just to make it so Tuel knows he isnt safe as 3rd QB. 4. He has the athletic ability to allow Buffalo to get creative in the offense. Is there a guarentee he makes the team...no...... He could easily be a last week cut if the rookies do a good job in learning the offense. If he earns a job in this team he could be budgeted in the roster as a special teamer.

You can do the subway/metro to the station by the stadium and either walk or they will have buses that run to the stadium.

If I'd wager on who makes the club I'd bet on WR Rogers and QB Tuel. Robey and Edwards would battle for a spot with one of the two earning PS invite. I thnk robey could transfer to FS.

because chip Kelly made an extensive effort in trying to recruit EJ Manuel to Oregon. He felt he would fit in well with his offensive scheme. Him coming for Oregon he likely knows whom his players were and likely would target one of them. Just like I think Buffalo will be seriously contemplating picking the safety from Syracuse if they feel they ned one in the 4th. He is around the 10th best available left so it lines up with Buffalo's pick.

So far it seems Buffalo has screwed with his Drafting game plan. First we pick EJ Manuel in the 1st when he likely would have taken him in the early 2nd or possibly moved up a few spote to the late 1st to take him. Then in the 2nd round we take his linebacker that he probably penciled in for his 3rd round pick or if he felt he'd get taken he'd move up into the late 2nd to get him.

They hold onto Smith. He has that mobility....he isnt bad as a receiver. As far as i know his contract doesnt have any guarentees in it.......so he could get cut during camp. Could he get cut---sure. Lets see how he is in camp/preseasons plus how the rookies fare. There is also the risk of injury. I see 4 WRs are safe on the roster (assuming no injuries) Stevie, TJ, plus their 2 WR picks. This means 2-3 jobs are going to be available. One of these jobs has a special teams piece, and the other job would be one for the hybrid player of the WR/TE/FB role.

This is really irrelevent.... It doesnt really matter if they are 4 or 5 yr contracts...you still can cut them if they fail. similarly if he is a big time success they renegotiate the contract to pay him what he is worth. The reason they took him is because Philadelkphia would have taken him at their 2nd round pick or traded up to around 24-27 to take him.

The concern was with Chip Kelly at Philadelphia. He heavily recruited him to Oregon. He has the skill set to fit his system. The belief is he would have drafted him in the 2nd round or possibly traded to a reachable point in the first round to select him.

My feelings on Manuel------ I watched the Gruden Camps with the QBs...Manuel jumped out at me in terms of his intelligence. Given his height, speed, and athletiisism he is a similar mode to a Cam Newton/Colin Kaepatrick. Outside of some package plays I dont se him playing at all until buffalo is out of it at the end of the season. do not believe you rush a QB to start out of the gates in the NFL.. Too much risk. The one thing that does bother me.... Did they consider trading down further? I think they could have gotten a 3rd to move down to around 22-24. I understand the concern was on the teams at the top of the 2nd who were looking to draft a QB and could have traded up into the first a head of Buffalo. Its easier for them at high 2nd to move to the 23-26 range than to try to move up to the mid first. As for the trade of picks with St Louis. The deal was about what you should have done based on the draft pick value chart. For the rams to move up it costs them a 2nd but that is a little more in value, so they flip 3rd round picks and then St Louis throws in a 7th which then balances it out. The added bonus---the Jets couldnt draft the WR.

Whomever Buffalo selects as a QB they will be sitting for much of the season. They only play if injuries occur or Buffalo is out of the playoffs.

I'd rather trade down in the draft to around 16-20 and collect a 2nd round pick. Take the 2 2nds and move up to around 22-26. One pick would be a QB, the other would be the best player available that isnt a RB.

You dont take a Guard in the top 10---- If they felt the need to take a guard---they need to trade down in the draft and collect picks.
