I feel DEFENSE or OL. Getting that vibe. -
Looks like the story checks out

If we don't go RB in 2nd, bring back Shady?
Bookie Man replied to Irv's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There's a reason he was often a healthy scratch last year -
Bills need a 4th quarter song
Bookie Man replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is actually a great suggestion ? -
Pretty sweet. Hope they pair up the yellow pants with royal and dark blue jerseys as well. Those would look awesome. Can someone with some photo shop skills put together a similar lineup of all Buffalo's uniform combinations?

Daboll needs better screen play design
Bookie Man replied to Happy Days Lois & Clark's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not only on screens but I'd like to see DS catch 5 balls a game this year. Watching all of these old Bills games from early 90's on YouTube, Kelly threw Thurman so many balls. 5-7 yards a time. If Josh can learn to consistently hurt teams with those short quick hitters when it's there, he could be a bad man. -

Prospect discussion: Antonio Gibson

Derrick Henry is 6'3. I remember Antowain Smith being up around 6'2. Eddie George, Steven Jackson, Brandon Jacobs and Matt Forte were taller and they were pretty good. Those are just off the top of head. Taller RB's may not be ideal. But there have been some good ones. -
Brandon Beane - Please Draft Offensive Playmakers
Bookie Man replied to ColoradoBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
OL and RB have my vote. Draft day is always a good time with Beane calling shots. -
Jay Glazer: I will break big, national news tomorrow
Bookie Man replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What? That's some lame right there. -
Crowd noise is one of my favorite things about watching the games. Especially away games, when you can here the home crowd silenced after a big play and the visiting crowd cheer. Like in Pitt and Tennessee last season, you could just tell there was a lot of Bills fans there. Maybe they can dub in crowd noise or pump it on the speakers like Atlanta used to do ?.

I think Yeldon is the ultimate wildcard. He's not a game breaker, but he's been serviceable in this league. He's got size, decent speed, above average receiving skills and low mileage. He's been kind of on everyone's doghouse it seems. He had a small stretch of fumbles last year, a few in the redzone iirc. But when you watch him in clips from last year, he's got a pretty nice burst. He should've got more reps later in the season, when Gore fell off imo.

Colts introduce a secondary logo
Bookie Man replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I can dig it. Didn't they add a 3rd color to the scheme? I thought I saw a picture where it featured some grey. It was pretty badly needed imo. Fine line between classic and boring. -

Good for him. CMC is a quality human being. -
If the NFL started from scratch today...
Bookie Man replied to mathja's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Doubtful Allen would go in the 1st round. I can name off about 20 players under the age of 25 that would probably go before him. That's not including guys in the trenches that I'm not that familiar with, nor guys in this years draft. And that's also not including guys like Russel Wilson and JJ Watt. I would think more of like a late 2nd round to 4th, which is still pretty high considering there'd be at least 24 rounds (if you'd want to draft for all positions and kickers (not including other ST positions)). -
I like the red helmets and it seems we'll get to see those in 2021. But I think the red socks would loo sweet with the current unis. Particularly the white tops / blue bottoms combo. I mean that could be the best looking uniform in the history of the NFL, just sayin. I actually still would like to see any combination of this one time a year.

NFL releases All-Decade Team - 4 former Bills selected
Bookie Man replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
it seems those are all decade players, that passed through Buffalo. Didn't build their resume here exactly. Moorman should be on that list I think. -
Wow, just a great all around game for Buffalo. Loved seeing some big hits from both teams, without any flags. What a weapon Thurman was. His agility was off the charts. He could have easily had the top MNF rushing performance of all time, if he didn't come out early. Would still be standing. I wonder if he knew how close he was. I didn't realize how many carries Mueller got. I remember him just being a blocking back. After watching that game and seeing those huge holes by the OL and the constant pressure from the edges, I'm kind of wanting to draft OL and DL now haha.

Defending Allen in "empty" this year will be brutal
Bookie Man replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If he can improve against the blitz, he could feast. He was the most blitzed QB in the league last year in empty sets, because DC's know that's where he struggles the most. They know he loves the big play and will hang onto the ball. I'm sure this will be his biggest focus this offseason. He's got to get more automatic at processing the blitz and taking what's there. If he does that and gets rid of those WTF plays and he's a dangerous man, capable of some filthy things. -
Yeah, just odd how they ran right past him. Play was there for a big gain otherwise it looked like. #$%&* But that was one of the most exciting games I've ever seen.
-
Yeah I was so bored, I ended up watching it as well. First time I've rewatched any part of it. It was a perfect storm of ***** that led to that L. Duke dropping that ball. Brown mistiming his jump a few drives before that, on a catch that would have given them 1st and goal from inside the 5. Siran Neal dropping an int that hit him right in the stomach, which might have been a pick 6. The "common sense" kickoff play where the guy "gave himself up", without actually "giving himself up". The "blindside block" that never was. The blatant delay of game, the refs conveniently missed. The blatant helmet to helmet on Allen, that was also missed. Daboll's decision to abandon the run late in the game, when DS was gashing them. The freak play, where Poyer and Milano simultaneously hit Watson, but their forces kept him perfectly upright. Every one of those things had to happen for Buffalo to lose that game or else Buffalo most likely holds on. And Every. Single. One. Happened. Craziest stuff I've ever seen. Of course it had to be a Buffalo / Houston game in the WC round. Wow deja vu.
