    what the heck are you talking about? someone said we couldn't sign him to a guaranteed deal because of the salary cap and i said that they are wrong and that they should google how it works. I'm not sure if you are trying to be funny or if you are simply not intelligent enough to comprehend this discussion. usually it's the latter when someone lashes out like that

    And you should Google how it works because that has nothing to do with what I said. They can give a big signing bonus spread out over 2-3 years which makes the first year guaranteed money similar to what they did with Percy Harvin.

    I think Zay Jones is going to be a really good player but most rookie WR's don't put up big numbers their first year. It will be nice to have another option besides Sammy, especially if someone goes down. Remember last year when all of our guys were injured and our best WR's were Goodwin and Tate? Yikes!

    I really doubt that will happen as right now Maclin is being labeled as injury prone. Teams aren't going to want to give him a long term deal. His best bet is to do a 1 year deal and have a great season and THEN the long term deals will come in. That is probably what the Bills are selling him on

    the NFL is cut throat. if they were going to cut him why not do it months ago? maybe they were trying to trade him but then after the draft when nothing happened then cut him loose. it was actually a dumb move for the chiefs to keep him because if he got hurt in OTA's they would have been on the hook for his contract

    Maclin for 1 year on a prove it deal is hardly is a splash signing. we aren't giving him 5 yrs and $100 mil. he's a good teammate and will only make the team better. we have the money available and it's a position of need so why not?
