ABSOLUTELY! don't get my hopes up like that. people forget Luck is only 28 and is fresh assuming his shoulder issues are taken care of. he can play another 10 yrs + easily
-
Eli Manning 37, Matt Stafford 29. plus as mentioned less scrutiny in detroit
-
he took that job because the ALREADY have a good QB. people forget how good Luck was when healthy because it's been a few seasons but he is still young and with a good offensive coach and some support he can be very good again
-
yes he had left yesterday when i posted that but he is back and is playing at least 1 series as i posted above
-
I read that he could be a target for the Pats in the mid rounds based on comparisons to Jimmy G as well as the fact that he was one of the top lacrosse players in the country and Belichick is a huge lacrosse fan. As per some Richmond Spiders fans on this forum, they didn't think he had what it took to be an NFL QB. He does check a lot of the boxes on what you are looking for though. He hasn't done anything to stand out at the sernior bowl practices however. He is lost in the shuffle among Allen with his fastball, Mayfield with his leadership, Falk with his nice touch, and White as the sleeper pick. I haven't heard anything about Kyle all week to be honest

8 mil dead cap. I think that limits them on what they can do this year. Probably Groy starts and they need to get another vet backup C at league min

Glenn is gone, they will take whatever they can get at this point just to unload the contract. I would guess a 4th based on his foot situation. Dawkins is the LT. People have said how about Glenn at RT and no way they pay that much for a RT. Lorenzo is too slow to play OLB in this defense. He mentioned that he will be moving to DE probably as a situational pass rusher. He's being paid a lot of money to be a backup/situational player though. He does add value on special teams and with his leadership but they will have to determine if he is worth that contract.

^^ i heard that Allen had a throw of 66 mph and that it was the fastest ever recorded. by comparison, the fastest ever recorded at the NFL combine when they officially clock them is 60 mph. Mahomes only clocked at 55 mph at the combine. i'm fairly confident that if football doesn't work out that Allen could be a pitcher. he probably hasn't tried in a while but I wouldn't be surprised if he could throw a baseball close to 100. he said he was throwing 92 in high school which is nuts especially when you consider that was BEFORE his growth spurt

GM's/scouts/coaches still talking themselves into Allen. There's a lot of praise about how much he improved during the week. However Mayfield won the best QB award for the week so go figure. These guys are overthinking it. Every year they talk themselves into a QB that has the tools but isn't very good. I think with a good showing in the game and at the combine Allen could go #1. It will be interesting to see what happens if that's the case because he is obviously not the best player in the draft and not at all ready to play so all of the real players will get pushed down the board.
-
So if Allen throws 5 int and completes 3 out of 20 passes it's not going to hurt his draft stock? How about if he goes 19 of 20 for 5 td's? Every little piece of the puzzle makes up the full story on these players
-
They should trade us 1 and 4 to us for 21 and 22 because the players taken later on will be easier for them to re-sign
-
That's probably good news for Allen. He will be far and way the best QB there now. With a big game he could still be the #1 pick. With a bad game he could just as easily drop out of the top 10. Needless to say this is a big game for him

I didn't realize Mayfield had left. He's not playing in the game. He's going back to Texas to be with his mom who is or was in the hospital. Falk left too to go to his teammate's funeral. So I guess it's Allen vs White

imo Rosen is a better QB right now than Cousins who is going to want $28 mil per. If you are considering Cousins or any of the highly paid free agents then this is a significant savings

this is very sad. great leader and very good player. as far as impacting us next year this is not season altering. Groy will step in and be a very capable starter. I'm glad Wood got to play in a playoff game. -

wow i wonder what happened. working out? car accident? or is it a previous injury where they said if you continue playing you could die and so he's calling it quits? -
