Donald did get better over time but I feel like we could do better. I'm always jealous when the Instigators show is on. Why can't we have something like that? A show with football players giving each other crap and telling stories from the lockerroom. Now that would be awesome!

I watched the QB's in practice today on ESPN. What stood out to me: - Josh Allen has a superior arm. Everyone else looks like they are throwing change-ups vs his fast balls. It's a shame that he is so inaccurate and doesn't have good touch. He is so big and has such a strong arm that he really stands out and you are like wow. - Mayfield absolutely takes charge and controls the offense. He is the type of guy that you draft him and then all you hear about in training camp is how he is taking over and before you know it he is getting the starting reps and your veteran is now the backup. I predict that whatever team picks him, he will win the QB battle and if he doesn't start it will be because the coaches are holding him back on purpose. There's no way he goes through a training camp and doesn't come out as the starting QB of the team. - Both guys started out pretty slow with some really inaccurate passes but then turned it up a notch and delivered some good balls. You can tell the coaches really like Mayfield. He's either taking a rep or he's cheering on the guys that are or he's talking to the coaches. He's not standing around and waiting his turn like the other 30 or so guys that were on the field. - Luke Falk had some nice touch on some fades into the endzone but overall his arm looked pretty weak. - Josh Allen has so much potential that if he gets picked before Mayfield it's only because a coach thinks he can get it out of him. Mayfield is the better pro right now. And that's coming from someone who didn't think Mayfield would pan out. I wish we could get all of the top QB's on the field so we could watch them compete. Watching them at the combine throwing vs air isn't the same as watching them with the pads on in practice vs defenders.

he was already a bum that's why he lost his starting job at Tennessee and that's why he was picked in the 5th round. this just confirms it. anyone with a pair of eyes can see he doesn't have the arm strength and is a total spaz when there's a blitz. it ain't gonna happen for him but luckily he has his degree.

Anyone watching on ESPN U now? They are just doing a walk-through of the plays and both of these QB's (Mayfield and Allen) look horrible. They can't even complete passes at half speed. This is embarrassing

we have an extra 1st and an extra 2nd this year so we can offer even more without killing our draft. that would get us up to #4 to take Rosen if the Giants pass on him. remember that when he is in the pro bowl in 2 yrs and we still don't have a QB

Ravens CB Marlon Humphrey arrested for robbery

i'm curious to hear the details. he said he thought it was his charger. was it just lying around near where he was and he grabbed it when he was packing up his stuff? that sounds like a believeable mistake. especially if it was an iphone charger, everyone has those. i'll hold off on judgement until i hear more details -
that's true but knowing that there are mediocre QB's in free agency i think the smart move is to sign one and draft one. the guy you draft will be cheaper plus he might end up being something. it's a smart bet to diversify like that. worst case you have a mediocre veteran to get you by. best case you hit the jackpot with a rookie and you can cut the more expensive veteran

Browns are absolutely taking a QB at #1. Right now it would be Darnold. Allen was right there with him before the senior bowl but i think his accuracy issues are a real concern. I think Giants at #2 don't have to take a QB but they would be absolutely stupid not to. When will they ever pick this high again? Even if Eli turns things around he has at most 2 more years tops. Get your QB now while you have a chance. There is a 0.00% chance that the Denver Broncos don't select a QB at 5. It will be who is left out of Darnold, Rosen, Allen, Mayfield. There is also a very slim chance the Jets don't pick a QB. They have a new OC and a great opportunity to pick up someone who they might have rated higher than the others. If one of the top guys falls this could be where he goes or if things play out like I think and 3 QB's are already taken then this is where they might take a shot on Mayfield if he continues to impress. Other teams that are QB needy are Arizona and Washington (unless they are able to lock up Cousins but I don't think they will). They need to do something and Lamar Jackson is a great athlete who would have left college with 2 heismans if Mayfield didn't have such a great season. I can't imagine those teams don't take a chance on him knowing that at the very least they will have a very dynamic player. That leaves Mason Rudolph and not competing at the senior bowl is really going to hurt him to where teams are scared to pull the trigger. He could slip but do the Bills with 2 picks and no QB and the Saints and Pats who have really old QB's pass on someone with that size and these kind of stats? They might just because nobody is sure what he will be at the next level so it's too bad he didn't get a shot to prove people wrong at the senior bowl. So I think there definitely will be 5 QB's taken in the 1st round and maybe even 6 depending on how desperate these teams are to get someone. To think there will only be 3 is complete nonsense. QB is too important of a position to overlook when you have 6 guys that could potentially be franchise players. QB's have slipped in the past like Aaron Rodgers or Derek Carr but I think teams know that if you want a QB this is the year to do it.

Dennison to the NYJ as OL Coach and Run Game Coordinator

as "run game coordinator" -
i don't even think Peterman is good enough to start at many colleges let alone in the NFL. he got bounced from Tennessee and they are desperate for good QB play. i'm trying to think of what schools he could have started for this year but all of the QB's coming out are better. this is either a joke thread or someone is messing with the OP

I don't agree at all. They will put them into situations out of their comfort zone and see what things they can and can't do outside of what they have seen on tape. That is especially important for a player like Rudolph who was in a gimmicky offense that does not translate to the NFL. This is a big deal whether you believe it or not I might even go as far as to say he will not be selected in the 1st round now and this will be a factor as to why. It's true that it only takes 1 team to like you but teams might view him as more of a risk now than if they saw him doing the things they think he can't do this week. We will see come draft time but don't be surprised if he is there at 21 and we pass.

it would have been nice to see him under center vs the other competition. the only opportunity they will have now is the combine and if they host him on a visit and even then they are only throwing vs air. this was their one shot to see him live and in action

We are too good of a team to either have Matt Moore who we know is terrible or a rookie who even if he's good is going to play like crap in year 1. I think we have to go next level and get Bradford or Alex Smith. If the rookie beats them out then great, if not at least you know you have a middle of the road QB in the meantime
