  1. Mind the way that you plant them. I see many times where homeowners plant these right on top of each other when small but then when mature they grow into each other are are all woody. Suggestion: set your plantings in two rows alternating the spacing so it looks like a zig zag pattern. To provide some visual ease to your hedge add some other plants / trees to the run (blue spruce, hemlock, etc).
  2. Funny as those last couple of accidents are, granted the forklift ran into them, but the pallet racks need to be supported so that they do not collapse.
  3. Hope you did well. Post race analysis?
  4. One can only imagine the conversation between Tim Russert, Jim Kelley, and Larry right now. Makes me smile and watery at the same time. Godspeed Larry.
  5. Good ideas! Maybe Hawaii? I can check out the local scenery and drink beer.
  6. I'll take that on for my Pelotonia fundraiser (James Cancer Center)-beer in every OH town. Uh oh - OH is much larger in size than MA. May have to re-think.
  7. Here is this site as well http://www.roadsideamerica.com/location/ny/all. If going up the Hudson direction - West Point?
  8. Check Atlas Obscura http://www.atlasobscura.com/
  9. How was his golf swing? He was a spectator like me. Did you ask him about Levitre? No, I did not. He was enjoying his day. Did you ask him about signing a contract extention? No, I did not. He was enjoying his day. Did you ask him abour Morrone? No, I did not. He was enjoying his day. You should have purchased an adult beverage for the man solely on the basis of what he said about the Toronto Series. Bev cart was too far away.
  10. Saw this big guy with curly blonde hair at Tavistock Cup on Tues. Realized that it was Eric Wood. (Tipoff was one of his buddies was wearing a Valhalla CC windshirt.) He wound up standing next to me on one of the fairways. Introduced myself and said that as a Bills fan I appreciated his hard work. He shook my hand and said thanks. I told him to have a nice day as this was his off-season. He then moved down the fairway and got a photo with Gary McCord.
  11. This is what I was talking about.
  12. Kid will probably be doubled over for a week.
  13. Kind of wish the Bills had some sort of museum like the Packers do to keep some if that long history alive.
  14. I've pre-paid for a coworkers lunch without telling them. Donated corporate holiday gift card(s) to local food bank.
  15. Went 6 days without shaving when I was out skiing this past week. Looked too homeless.
  16. You got it - all 3 times. You gotta go where you gotta do.
  17. Almost 30 years ago moved from WNY to TX, about 20 years moved from TX to NC, 10 yrs ago moved from NC to OH. What questions do you have?
  18. If 5ppg and 5apg get you that, then I should get this as a $78K/yr supplier manager. http://www.google.com/search?q=robin+meade&hl=en&tbo=u&rls=com.microsoft:en-us:IE-SearchBox&rlz=1I7ADBF_enUS275&tbm=isch&source=univ&sa=X&ei=No8eUZDfCvOFyQHT14GIBg&ved=0CEkQsAQ&biw=1280&bih=656

  20. City was dumping it into Lake Erie until the state said no-go. Then the started dumping it into open spaces. They were also putting it into rail cars to haul south.
  21. Yep - Remember that the snow piled up at the sides of the roads were too high to see over when going through an intersection. One of us would jump out of the car, play look out, and then jump back in. we found a WonderBread truck on the thruway and got the manager of Tops on Transit to open up for us so that we can get eggs, milk, juice, peanut butter, jelly, and bologna for the folks stuck at our fire station. Snow machines looked like a military convoy hauling all that stuff back.
  22. I lived within walking distance to Lancaster High School. When the school let us out I gathered up all the kids in the hood and we walked holding hands to stay together and not leave anyone behind. We looked like a team of circus elephants in the snow.
  23. Man, what a bummer. What am I (and other guys) going to look at during the Indy 500?!?
  24. Bowmansville Vol Fire Dept responding to calls / checking for stranded motorists / directing traffic. Slept on the hose bed of one of the trucks. We had about 500 people in our banquet room. Walked home after 3 days. Remember being able to touch the bottom edge of the green part of a signal light at the intersection of Harris Hill and Pleasant View on the way home. Later found a car completely buried in a drift just off the intersection. The snow blew and packed just like sand in a desert.
