  1. Mario Williams is on par for a 20 tackle 4 sack season. Obviously it will vary as the season goes on, but we aren't missing that production. This is a system that he claimed was "that much sweeter". Different scheme, same or less production. He needs to step it up. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000696688/article/mario-williams-miami-scheme-that-much-sweeter
  2. He put up 16 games year 1 and has only missed 4 games out of 35 games, and no one cares that you are sick of hearing about him being hurt, or that you want to quickly and stupidly label him a bust.
  3. Quit being dumb. Rex was in the room for his own conference, and he would have been waiting around to start his anyway. Read the article. Not to mention you just wasted 30 seconds typing this when you could have built a vast fortune by doing something! What a scrub at life! As Patriots receiver Julian Edelman wrapped up a conference call with Buffalo reporters, Ryan -- who just entered the room for his news conference -- leaned over into the speakerphone and asked Edelman a question.
  4. Just visited the "paranoia thread" on their forum haha. They think we are paranoid but are speculating that Goodell is either behind the communication issues at Gillette or behind making them a problem. Then they go on to make fun of the "Arizona win may come back to bite us" thread, in which practically everyone outside of the topic creator hammered home that he was an idiot for thinking that. I'm starting to get the idea that Patriots fans have the attention span and situational awareness of that dog from Up.
  5. I simply said they were bought out twice. You said no. I clarified the buyouts I was referring to. You said "idiot, those are just a specific kind of buyout, no big deal duh" You guys are an awfully sensitive bunch. This is a farcry from " Time Warner started putting data caps on their customers years ago - not in an effort to "monetize data", but instead to manage the ever increasing load on the network." But to each their own. No need to get all "you are the worst person ever" on me. It's just a conversation. I know a guy that works for one of the ISP's that gets the same way. It's a sensitive topic because the companies are so hated publicly, I know, but don't take it out on me.
  6. There may still be a tie at 11-5. Damnit, now we have to lose to the 49ers too. Why? Are you assuming that a win against Arizona means one less AFC win? That's the only way this works for you guys. But even then it's nonsensical because it doesn't work like that.
  7. Yes, yes we do. If you are confused by my explanation then I have no idea what the heck you are referring to a win coming back to bite us. A loss to the cardinals hurts our chances to getting to playoff contention. That's the bottomline. If you say you'd rather trade our win over the cardinals for a win over the ravens (simply swapping them), then I could understand. But a loss by itself cannot come back to bite us.
  8. 2012 http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2012-07-19/suddenlink-agrees-to-buyout-led-by-management-bc-cpp Of course it was also PR speak because of the buy out. 2015 http://www.bcpartners.com/news/2015/21-12-15?sc_lang=en
  9. I see what you are saying but it is absurd, and it is no way to look at the season. You are saying that when everything is said and done, and two NFC teams are tied at 10-6, the team with the least amount of NFC wins is going to be the odd man out usually. Usually that is correct. So to apply it to the Bills, you are saying it is inevitable for us to be 10-6 tied for a wild card spot if we have any opportunity to make the playoffs. You are saying we should prefer more of those 10 wins to be AFC wins rather than NFC wins. But this is assuming that the Bills will ONLY get 10 wins. A win against the cardinals does not mean we will lose against the jaguars to even us out at 10-6. A win against the cardinals means we might make it to 11-5. You are applying your logic to a set win/loss record which is the wrong way to go about it.
  10. Taking a loss absolutely makes no sense to help playoff chances. But it is a very "billsian" thing to do, when we beat tough NFC teams like Green Bay Packers (12-4 in 2014) that help our playoff chances, but lose to the Oakland Raiders (3-13 in 2014) the next game. Anyone saying beating the Cardinals doesn't help our playoff chances is an idiot, but anyone who says the loss to Baltimore didn't hurt worse is mostly wrong outside of strength of schedule tie breakers and stuff. Edit: where is this thread anyway? I need some entertainment haha
  11. Um, what is an expert opinion or member of the industry worth when he wasn't even aware that time warner cable does not do data caps. So his "expert" opinion about time warner presently doing data caps to lighten their load on their networks was what? A guess? Expert opinion? You guys are grasping here based on 1 member of the industry's so called opinion utilized which might be based on his perceived experience, but it proves it isn't infallible. I don't expect you to believe me, not after these reactions, but cord cutting is a thing. And it is a thing that the cable industry (who are in large part ISP's) are moving to address. Believe it or not. That is the opinion of a wide number of experts and analysts of these company's. Look it up. The company did not sell for those reasons. They were actually bought out 2 times since 2010. The latest purchase by "Altice" was to gain a foothold in the US market.
  12. What the heck are you talking about? You have to be a real piece of work to think that my argument is for free stuff. Yep, I am sure you absolutely know the ins and outs and infrastructure costs of all the major ISP's because you "work in the industry". You just know man. I understand your bias, it's tough working in one of the most hated industries. It is understandable to be defensive about these companies policies, but it isn't politics. Edit: Oh and I missed this that you said: "Time Warner started putting data caps on their customers years ago - not in an effort to "monetize data", but instead to manage the ever increasing load on the network." Time Warner tested out data caps in a few areas, and got rid of them after the ensuing customer backlash. They have been doing fine without data caps for some time now. I guess, their networks must be quite overloaded right now. But you know, you are the all knowing expert. You can join the club of "I know what I am talking about, just trust me, I work in the industry" then. He has shown me nothing outside of "I know infrastructure, and trust me, it costs a ton." Meanwhile CEO's of ISP's say; no, it is actually declining.
  13. It's because they think that people did it just because he is black. They think that it wouldn't of happened to a white candidate, except they did it to Ted Cruz soooooo...... As for the debate, how is this poll even this divided? Come on, I don't like Hillary but she wiped the floor with Trump. He has no substance. I haven't made up my mind. Leaning 3rd party, but one of the candidates just has to woe me. I don't think they will.
  14. If that's how you see it then fine. Maybe you are letting your bias for your industry cloud your vision. It happens, but I haven't said anything that isn't true.
  15. Sammy Watkins has 2,092 yards and 15 touchdowns in 31 games. Stevie Johnson has 4,764 yards and 34 touchdowns in 99 games. Sammy is on pace to exceed Stevie Johnson's TDs, and his yards in 30 less games and he hasn't even hit his stride yet.... Not saying Stevie Johnson was bad, he got a raw deal with our QB situation as well as Sammy. But Sammy is on another planet.
  16. Huh, this is an interesting site that I will come back to when I have time. Seems relatively well designed and useful. http://operations.nfl.com/the-officials/inside-nfl-gameday-central/official-review-with-dean-blandino/
  17. Michael Thomas and Julio Jones didn't outscore Matt Ryan so my bad advice didn't make him lose I don't think
  18. Its the lasting effect he has! Just look at the irreparable damage! Welp I'm sorry if I botched this at all for you! Julio Jones has 2 points.
  19. This is likely it. Best time for him to get some rest until the BYE week, and we are playing at home. People act as if Sammy just doesn't want to play or what? I don't understand the conspiracy theories.
  20. Just for the record. Rex Ryan has a better win percentage (.473) than the last 6 HC's so far. Not fantastic, but after 19 games, I believe he is the most criticized. We get it, you don't like the way he talks, and that the bills haven't made the playoffs. But let the man do his job. Sheesh.
  21. Agreed. They both are. Trump has to impress. I despise Hilary but Trump has shown me exactly zero reason to support him. Not clinton isn't a valid reason.
  22. All over the place outside of this board too. A lot of people don't think of him as a legit #2 WR. I think of him as an under utilized legit #2 WR.
  23. No way. Stick with Julio. He has a better shot at beating the points of Matt Ryan. It will be worse for rooting for it, but looking at it objectively Julio Jones has a better chance at getting 25 points than Michael Thomas regardless of Matt Ryans 20 points. That said, I need Brees to get 46 points tonight Come on 6 tds and 300 passing yards!
  24. Think about it this way. A defensive player cannot intercept the ball standing at the 1, and then turn around and run into the endzone, and get a touchback. Same thing here. They are saying Graham landed at the one, and rolled into the endzone. You can argue momentum, I guess, but that's why it was spotted at the 1. In my opinion at least. https://youtu.be/sPB3u2zN8S0?t=307
  25. https://youtu.be/sPB3u2zN8S0?t=307 5:08 if anyone is interested in the play. I am so glad the NFL started allowing highlights on youtube.
