No Kaepernick's protest is based on an opinion, and anecdotal evidence. There is no statistical evidence out there that portrays the picture Kaepernick is painting. Let alone it being an epidemic. We are talking about 260 people a year (even then it is unclear whether it was unjustified or not) out of hundreds of millions of police encounters.
