Donald J. Trump, Worth 9 billion
Garion replied to PlayoffsPlease's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
what an incredible heaven sent gift the Pegulas are to this community. If you think Irsay is a joke how long before Trump embarrassed this franchise with something ridiculous. -
Wait someone besides the originator has attempted to make it? I thought it was a myth like the triple Lindy dive.

Agreed. A pension is much more attractive to the employee but less sustainable given the issues noted above. I have a pension from one employer as well as retirement savings but I am not convinced the pension will be there when I retire. Get it if you can but as a matter of US govt policy we should be moving to defined contributions if we want to control govt costs.

I had my first a few years ago but a Chicago style dog is the greatest total dog experience of all time http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chicago-style_hot_dog Agree with others ketchup does not belong on a dog.

And social security and Medicare mind you. No one gets what they put in. We get what someone else is currently putting in - but that doesn't play as well on a bumper sticker.

Most Reviled Coach of the Bills

Greggo blew up a top notch defense (league leading) to install his system and then would punt on 4th and 1 from the 30 -
Could be this http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Injustice:_Gods_Among_Us By the way the mobile game is a ton of fun and free

Just in case folks forgot the size of these "puny" oline men. The tackles averaged over 310 lbs http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Howard_Ballard http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Will_Wolford I couldn't find Kent hulls stats on Wikipedia but he wasn't tiny compared to the tackles never power rushed backward that I recall http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kent_Hull 2-3 pro bowls each during their Bills days

Again you have a Giants D with two hall of fame coaches (one of which who is in the conversation for GOAT) and the greatest rush line backer in the history of the game. The guy who revolutionized the pass rush in general and his position in specific . We have no one on the current team who is remotely in that conversation at this time. That's a Bills offense which put up 51 or so points in an AFC championship game one of those first two years in snowy conditions. That wasn't done in that era. Players are bigger and faster but not that much we aren't talking sixties players here steroids had made it to the NFL by then as did weight lifting supplements etc.

Crazy talk. . . .any hall of farmers on this last years GB and Denver teams besides the QBs? Was the Manning or Rodgers we saw anywhere near as good as they have been over the last two years or even earlier last season? How has this defense done against Brady ? Look I have a ton of hope for this years team, just like I have had on multiple occasions over the last twenty years but what has this D accomplished so far in terms of wins?
-
Sorry that's crazy talk. We are talking about an offense with multiple hall of fame players and in addition to those all time greats multiple pro bowlers. The offense isn't as revolutionary now but with current rules would be able to make even more hay out of defenses. This offense was the bedrock of four Super Bowl appearances in addition to multiple play off runs and at the time had a RB leading the league in total yards from scrimmage and one of the all time most successful QB to WR TD connections (since surpassed of course) This offense was a major player in what remains the all time greatest playoff come back (I think.) with the backup QB at the controls. The modern defense has a fair amount of talent and potential but is there a single hall of famer amongst them? It's been an integral part of a 9 win season at best. Sure modern players are bigger stronger faster but that team would translate well into the modern game in terms of measurables. Pure talent and heart it's no comparison.

Freds rushing stats last year

Agree 100%. This Bills offensive line was terrible this year and Freddie kept making something out of nothing over and over again. -
Should we draft a developmental QB late round? If so who?
Garion replied to Bocephuz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I thought it was interesting how many QBs the Bills met with during the combine really looked like they were researching the position as their main focus From the front page of tbd http://www.syracuse.com/buffalo-bills/index.ssf/2015/03/2015_nfl_draft_which_prospects_have_the_buffalo_bills_visited_with.html -
Whaley not happy Bills haven't done more to address OL

Agreed not just blowing rose colored smoke in our eyes. I bet they will bring at least 1-2 linemen in before the season starts
