  1. I texted my buddy you put Freddie on the 90s Bills and he would be going to the hall of fame. Not as durable as Thurman (and this is not a knock on Thurman by any means) but just a statement of what a big play and tireless worker he has been on some very bad teams while competing with two first round picks for playing time. On a great team as one part of a great offense I think he would have gotten the national attention he deserves.
  2. Baltimore for 13 years. I came to appreciate the team but distant second place behind my Bills
  3. I enjoy the show mostly because I would rather hear Bills discussion rather than anything else. Maybe not challenging questions but I enjoy hearing the answers.
  4. I am of an age where I only saw them on reruns maybe third season didn't get much play. I thought I was a Trekkie but maybe not. On that note I just read Nichelle Nichols (Uhura) autobiography. It was pretty darn good.
  5. Strangely I don't recall the two videos linked to. Now I may have to buy that bluray collection. . .
  6. Agreed muscles and length. I don't recall a rookie Bills receiver with that kind of muscle before.
  7. Hard to believe. Let's see how this group comes together. Lawson didn't get enough credit last year.
  8. Pretty cool can't say I know what his voice sounds like and he's a funny choice for giving this speech.
  9. Fair enough. Don't mind me my fandom got in the way of accurate reading!
  10. I think comparing him Faulk isn't giving him enough credit. You could take Faulk off those teams and they would still win as many games IMO. He has been our Welker (little engine that makes the offense work) frankly our Brady (best offensive player for years) though obviously Brady has far more impact. We have some other talent at RB but Jackson has been the cornerstone of our offense for years. Take away Spillers 2012 (breakout?, fluke?) year and there wouldn't be any question who has been the bils best offfensive player this decade. On the speed issue I do think he was faster in the past. Back when he was backing up lynch we would call him fast Freddie every time he got the ball. I don't see that now but I think he has gotten stronger over time.
  11. What a player. Watching that I wonder what he might have done on the Super Bowl bills in Thurman's place. Not taking anything away from the great Thurman, but just thinking how little credit Fred gets and in a different setting I think he could have had a hall of fame career (say like Terrell Davis's situation). That being said Thurman beats out Fred on durability by quite a bit.
  12. That's just not true skim down to page 4 summary findings. http://www.rockinst.org/pdf/nys_government/2011-12-Giving_and_Getting.pdf
  13. A circus came with Manziel. Tebow had his own. Both were used to it from college. Did the media circus make it easier or harder for Tebow to make it in the NFL? I think the Browns were right to try shutting it down.
  14. Heard the tail end last night on the john Murphy shoe
  15. Interesting that he commented Detroit and Tampa had told him they were planning on trading up to get him. The Bills were probably bidding against several teams after the first three picks went the way they did.
  16. Oh dear my kids love that Opa building and we have been talking a lot about what goes in next. That's going to take some explaining . . .
  17. She enjoyed it described it as "a good movie" she literally has apparently never seen an entire godzilla movie and has vague recollections of seeing parts of a black and white godzilla movie so was caught off guard by it all. She had a good time I think. There was enough humanity in the movie to keep her interest.
  18. I was in the stands. We were talking about leaving but figured we would stay a little longer. Thank heavens I missed Vans call at the time but I have heard it since
