  1. Distribution of wealth. All that TT money is about to be wasted. They could instead pay the man.
  2. Gilly is a top 10 CB. TT stinks. Deal.
  3. https://twitter.com/Sic_Utere/status/829034792951934976 Cut TT loose and sign this man!
  4. Do you know lots of folks in Buffalo that only have SB parties when we're in it?
  5. Everything I've heard of Patricia is that he's as OCD as BB. He brings notes to SB media day and watches opposing players to see if they're limping or show any signs of weakness.
  6. I have, conservatively, a 99% chance of being right.
  7. QB 100 thousand million. Because nothing else matters more.
  8. Oh I wasn't saying that Flacco is better than Brady. Just that he beats him in several categories in the postseason, and Brady is the GOAT. Flacco keeps you up at night, I get it. Between Flacco and Eli, you could have only 3 rings if things shook out differently.
  9. Bernie is just as big of a fraud.
  10. So he got benched?
  11. Not to get off topic but I've seen this sentiment expressed about Adolphus and I'm not sure what I missed this season.
  12. He's Brady's life siphon. Blount was 23 before he joined the Pats.
  13. I read Gator's thoughts and breakdowns of world events and I assuredly know that's not what's REALLY going on, so it's a process of elimination thing for me. I may not know what's really happening, but I certainly know what isn't.
  14. Maybe he'll never get a call and just show up in July ready to work?
  15. Lolol you guys are too funny. Wanna hear some fun stats? Which QB has a better TD% in the postseason, Brady or Flacco? Which QB has a lower INT% in the postseason, Brady or Flacco? Which QB has a better TD:INT ratio in the postseason, Brady or Flacco? Which QB has a higher YPA in the postseason, Brady or Flacco? Elite. Deal.
  16. Flacco has 4 less wins and 8 less losses than Peyton in the postseason. Was Manning elite? I won't argue Flacco is the picture of consistency, but he's the truth with a bad season or 2.
  17. Wouldn't hate that. Good depth/competition for S. Drafting one high doesn't guarantee anything and he'd be a good backup plan, because he IS a quality starter when healthy. Think of the "I'm Coming Home" video montages and ticket sales Terry!
  18. Yes and no. There are certainly great back out there who defy that dime a dozen mentalitiy. But, and a huge but, I don't know if a McCoy-esque player would be worth the contract on a team like NE. When so much of your cap is dedicated to a QB, I don't think it's necessarily smart football to also dedicate big money to an RB. Especially in their system. Obviously, I think McCoy is and has been a special type of RB. I have him a little lower than AP, because to me, AP takes over games moreso than Shady. I think there's the "game-manager" approach, where you rely on a very special back because your QB can't do it all on his own, a la Teddy and AP, Smith and Charles (in the past, not so much these last years) and even TT/Shady. But if you have a $20M year cap hit for the QB, something has to give on the offense and RB is probably at the top of the list. Especially because that position gets hit with the injury bug so frequently. Having a stable of cheap rotational guys fits their team building strategy a lot more. Just MO, of course.
  19. Well I thought your argument was that he sucks and doesn't make the postseason a lot. Now it's changed to "it wasn't just him!!!!" So to recap. Makes the postseason 66% of the time. 2-1 W/L when there with a greater than 2:1 TD/INT ratio and career numbers in the games that matter most. Are you still digging in on that ludicrous 1 year fluke argument?
  20. He's already holding out with plantar fasciitis.
  21. I think there's two discussions going on here. Running the ball will never be obsolete. Paying a top dollar RB when you have a franchise QB is a different story. James White had twice as many targets as carries on the ground in the entire postseason, and he's a nobody. I subscribe to the belief that Shanny tried to get cute and put them away with the dazzling passing attack. Sometimes that works. We've seen Brady and BB do that before to great effect. But there's a distinct possibility it blows up in your face. We've seen that with Brady and BB too, or at least it came close. Remember the 2015 first Pats game they kept throwing up 20 and we ended up coming back? We still lost, but if they run the ball a handful of times more, we don't get that shot.
  22. He's made the postseason 6/9 seasons in the NFL. Went 5 years straight in his first 5 years in the NFL. In a division with two other perennial playoff teams. It may be time to stop posting.
