  1. Depends on how much he sucks. If he's better than a Bill, yeah.
  2. Romo is better than all of those guys. I don't think Denver is upset for being in retread Peyton.
  3. Sammy wasn't our original first, but yep.
  4. Have to agree. The Bills treat the their QB picks like they are "settling" for a prospect instead of they love a prospect. I wonder if they are just gun-shy? Afraid of the PR if they attempt to go all-in to get a guy? Too much self-preservation mode? You have to take a hard-look at the thought process of Whaley drafting EJ and the subsequent moves after. He didn't like him enough to take him at 8 (red flag), and was willing to lose him until pick 16 (red flag). But then he has a mediocre rookie year, and suddenly Whaley is all about EJ and wheeling and dealing to double down on him. Is it about selling tickets?
  5. Cardale's purpose is for Doug Whaley and his group of sychophants to have someone to point to if/when TT flames out. "We still have a developing Jones on the roster, the QB position is fine" - Doug Whaley in the offseason following 2017.
  6. I do factor in the teams. I just do not give credit to TT for things he hasn't done. Alex Smith winning with the Chiefs is uncanny. You can agree there's something there beyond the stat line that we haven't seen with TT.
  7. Not sure what you're trying to say here.
  8. No. Their win% is about the same. I think you could argue, successfully, that the Saints are a 0-16 caliber team without Brees. He's good for +7 wins. The Chiefs, without Smith, are probably closer in that 6-7 win category. He's +5. The Bills without TT are also probably in that 6-7 win category. He's +2. Teams matter and I've never intimated otherwise. TT with the 2014 defense probably sneaks into the playoffs given enough chances. But if you don't think that win% matters more based on the QB than anybody else, I don't know what to say. Romo had a 4Q comeback and GWD last time he was in the playoffs.
  9. Are they? Is that why Pro Football Reference tracks every single QB since the 60's records as starters? The QB dictates wins and losses moreso than any other position. Hockey is a team sport too, but goalies still are tracked with the W-L because of how instrumental they are to that stat. It's time to be honest with ourselves.
  10. Except win more than 8 games. TT's a little lacking in that department.
  11. A season of evaluating Watson and a chance to grab Darnold in 2018? Sign me up! How many times do we have to go over that this team doesn't draft QB's unless we win 6 games or less?
  12. I watched TT lose 14 games in the last two years. How many did Smith lose?
  13. You can't prove it.
  14. He's made the playoffs 5 out of his 6 last seasons. What?
  15. Confirmed by 99% of scientists. Lol.
  16. Smith is a winner. Can't teach that.
  17. So don't take a QB high this year, wait until we're good again. It's been working so far.
  18. The Bills took 2 QB's in the first round in Ben, Eli and Rivers' CAREERS. Criminal. Absolutely criminal.
  19. Yes. Vick was better at everything else than TT other than QBing.
  20. Crazily, we could see Eli, Brady and Ben all gone in 2 seasons. Rodgers got old fast too. It seems like last week he was 28.
  21. EJ was the biggest commitment this team has made to finding a franchise QB since 2006. He was a terrible QB, but taking a guy in the first who may suck is what you have to do to actually find one. DW is under the impression that if he doesn't have the #1 overall with a Luck/Cam prospect, he doesn't need to take one when he's got a guy on the roster. So he needs to be put in a position where he needs to draft a QB to actually attempt to locate one. I'll bet anything BADOL, that this team does not take a QB in the first if they exercise TT's option until they cut him or walk away.
  22. AP played two games. He led the league in rushing and RTD's last season.
  23. Sounds like the other starters in the AFC need to be better QB's to win more Super Bowls.
  24. This team fired the OC after letting Fitzy throw all over and embarrass the defense and the media is the one who unfairly blamed the offense?
  25. Good for them? This team will never adequately address the QB situation unless we have zero on the roster, which means TT has to go. Dougie is trying to get back to 9-7 and an early playoff exit to keep his job. Long-term planning is not his forte.
