  1. Rex never had the locker room behind him. He probably blames them because he was so used to having them in NY. The difference was, Rex never bothered to win them over. It's still his fault, but I bet that's his delusion. That he was never fully supported as HC.
  2. And that is there is not a single QB in the draft that grades out as either low risk or worthy of the top 10 despite the fact this is year with several very needy teams at QB. No dude. You said, right here in black and white, that no QB grades out in the top 10 despite that some teams need QB's. Sorry. It makes no sense. It's wrong.
  3. Alpha interchangeably uses "grade" and "mock" to suit his arguments. His delusion that QB's grades from independent evaluators are affected depending on how bad certain teams need QB's is proof positive he has no idea what he's talking about, just that he regurgitates WalterFootball opinions as "consensus." See above.
  4. So now we know the "1 coach per player" system does not work.
  5. You cannot stop the rising tide!
  6. So what you're saying is that it's the guy holding the guns' fault, not the gun itself? Interesting argument, gator.
  7. The loss of talent in NY was overblown. He sucked there for the most part. The defense didn't just suck in Buffalo because of injuries. He's a bad HC who had a couple lightning in a bottle seasons. His career is over and he knows it.
  8. That's true. The bottom line is the Chiefs know that Alex Smith with their current roster takes them to the playoffs every year. They do not know TT could do the same thing. It's distinctly possible he could, but it's also possible he couldn't. That difference in uncertainty matters. See above. Smith just wins. Maybe he's just lucky, I don't know either. But the results are tangible. The Tannehill/TT exchange is theoretical and no guarantee. Keep my name off your lips.
  9. The difference is all of those guys are winners with the exception of Tanny. Flacco has a ring, Dalton and Smith consistently get their teams to the post season. To me, Tanny, TT and Cutler are all in the same boat because they are better than what else is out there but they aren't perennial playoff guys. It's a different argument when the decision to pay Dalton has the "well he plays well enough to consistently make the postseason, maybe he'll get hot," angle. The obvious benefits are much more prominent.
  10. They kept a known failure on the team for positive PR? I think that may be worse.
  11. A move that wasted another draft filling holes with 'Rex's guys" and wasted the final year of a QB playing at a mid level for peanuts. Brutal.
  12. Rex should have been fired after 2015. The Pegulas did not recognize their mistake fast enough.
  13. He totally "embraced the town like no other coach has." What a loser. He even spun it that Schwartz "quit." You fired Schwartz! I used to think he was just a clown fraud, but now I think he's a delusional cancer.
  14. If you don't pick up TT's option, you can't let Gilmore walk over 1-2M. Period.
  15. Sally is about to join the march in the unemployed line.
  16. Nah man. We just gotta get a fascist dictator who agrees with ME.
  17. Awesome stuff. Love the breakdowns and speculation. I mostly watched Watson this year and I think you nailed him.
  18. I mean, he couldn't choose a DC if his life depended on it. And he made some baffling decisions offensively. But he was genuinely a good man. Adults can hold multiple thoughts in their brain.
  19. Not in the slightest. But when your party is represented by dopes like Dr Sack who are screaming about antisemitism because of a word omission, when something truly happens, the folks in the middle won't care. Trump has been playing on that for 2 years and he may never have to change tack.
  20. I guess you don't get it yet. Screaming about everything makes the negative backlash to everything easier to tune out. Which is why Trump is where he is.
