If the Bills win this week, and the Fins lose, the Buffalo/Miami game has to be a lock to be flexed to SNF right??

I don’t have the schedule in front of me, but I can’t think there would be a more compelling game than a game with the AFC East and the #2 seed up for grabs.

The only fly in the ointment would be if CBS was able to block the league from flexing the game.

    Thoughts??

K, I looked up the schedule and if what you wrote happens, it will by far be the most compelling game.  What I don’t know is there bowl games or college playoffs that weekend as it’s also possible for Saturday night.  I’d rather have Saturday night as I get up weekdays before 5 am.  That’s a selfish interest.

It is likely as the Bills are a different team under Brady, and the Ravens are no joke.  If they can handle the 49ers like they did Sunday, the Dolphins are in for it especially as Waddle is most likely out and Hill is also hobbled.

  2. Why is it vs?  Who cares.  They’re both good.  Kinkaid is an excellent addition for the Bills.

Now let’s get as Jeremy states two WR’s and probably some safeties.  We just need to extend the people who are of value with exploring contracts.  Everyone with Ed about Oliver, but now look at him.

  3. Guys, first MERRY CHRISTMAS!

A win is a win.  When I was competing, sometimes you win big, and sometimes you squeak by.  It doesn’t matter if you get a W. Now onto the Cheats.  Hopefully we horribly embarrass them.  Then it’s a showdown.  I was praying yesterday for the Cowgirls, but the Ravens can still handle it, and then we can still win the finale.

After you said you did not understand the fascination with Fournette, I pointed out stats showing good production last year. What I did not do was claim to watch all 17 Bucs games or even argue Fournette should be active. But your point that he ran behind an atrocious line last year makes his production more impressive. Wouldn’t need him to be as fast as he was 3 years ago, just to use his size and physicality, catch out of the backfield, and block. Agree that he’d likely replace Murray at this point.

Hey, John as I mentioned to someone else if you’re suggesting activating him and placing Murray on the PS and replace his duties on goal line and pass pro, ok.  You can’t have four active.  Cook is the primary, Ty should be active for his speed, and Murray has been used for what I mention above.  If you want to swap, ok.  They won’t keep four active.  You just have to look at historicals for the McBeane era.

He had over 1000 scrimmage yards, over 70 catches, and 6 TDs last year.

of you watched all of those games  as I did, you’d know he ran into a brick wall throughout the season, and mostly because the Bucs O Line was atrocious last year.  He looks slower than three years ago.

listen, I live in Tampa so I watch every Bills and Bucs game.  All 17 of them.  Stays can be deceiving.  Can you say you watched all 17 complete games,

    not highlights.

My point is more about the speed of

Ty Johnson and the explosiveness of Cook, as well as the all purpose yards flr

    him.

The bills don’t typically activate that many RB’s in game day.  Cook, Ty and Murray fills all of their needs.  Fournette was brought in as depth and insurance.  He now knows the playbook, and maybe they activate him in place of Murray for a game.

And this is why this site is busy and people are so mad.

Next game pretty much will tell us all.

And yes even a loss and we'll all look next to Dallas.😉

For me, it’s simply that i’m not all that impressed with Murray.

He is there to be the heavy, but, for example on Sunday, he gets stonewalled and needs the line to push him in. He also dropped that wide open pass in the KC game, and unlike Cook’s drop, it wasn’t raining.

And on a night where Cook and Johnson averaged over 6 yards per carry, Murray averaged his typical 2 yards.

Im just not impressed with him.

That being said, the coaching staff sees what Fournette is currently capable of in practice, so perhaps they are not impressed with him either.

There is a place and inactivate Murray.  I’ll bite on that Einstein.

  6. I don’t know the fascination with Fournette.  His play dropped off in recent times and I had more than enough opportunities down in Tampa.  He helped them the SB year, but when a RB loses his legs, they don’t come back.

Johnson has the speed we need, and compliments we’ll Cook.  Especially after watching what Cook can do.  If we need a banger play, you throw in Murray.

  7. This thread is silly as the OP doesn’t understand when there isn’t a second top target, you can key in on any top target.  He’s still having lots of targets, but we’ll win this year with everyone else.

we need a top 1st RD WR target.  We won’t get Harrison JR., but Diggs will be a more viable target.  It’s just how it works.  This was non stop silly ranting.  TE’s don’t equate to WR’s unless you’re Kelce.

The god news is next year we can add a top WR target and it will matter.

You know, @Einstein, you've been so much more positive than most in this latest Bills stretch. I'm grateful for you and your contributions to the community and am pleasantly surprised by your latest takes. Thank you for the positive outlook you've provided this season

Hermes, agreed on Einstein.  I like people who are not Pollyanna, but also not doom and gloom.  I guess it’s a matter of people can look at glass half full or empty.  Measured optimism is always appreciated.

I know we have flaws, but so does all 31 teams besides us.  We definitely need a 1st round WR, younger top safeties, and we already may have fixed the OC who now makes sense.  On the flip side, we finally have a solid OL and DL, good TE’s, a fine Scat Back, and a serviceable banger for a RB.  When Milano returns, we’ll have a solid LB Corp as Bernard has surprised all of us.  Elam may have been a disappointment, but Benford is a pleasant surprise.  I feel terrible for Tre, but we had the steal trade of the NFL in Douglas.  Joseph has been a fine substitute for Jones.

So yes, we have flaws.  We also have strengths.
