    Cry. Not joking either.

I'll remember past family and friends that have left this Earth and wanted to see that. They will be with me in that moment.

I just saw this thread.  I’m with you.  I’ll drop to my knees and cry like a little boy.  Hug and kiss my children and thank god.  The. Fly up for the parade.  It will be worth taking off of work.

Yawn … we’ll see in about 14 more years.

Exactly.  What Brady accomplished is truly remarkable.  I know people on the board hate Brady, but he really is the GOAT.  Mahomes has a ways to go to be placed in that space.  He is remarkable and the best current player in the NFL.

  3. He’ll probably be tagged given their space and the value they see in their trio of WR’s.  The reason we’re not on the list in this article is we have no $.  We’re $40 mil over the cap.  We can restructure til the cows come home, but that will just get us to the cap in March.  I believe the cap increases again this year so that could be some padding, but we have to extend some needed resources already on the roster like Jones, and maybe we get lucky with Floyd.

  4. GB, Imnot excited about the idea of firing McD, but we need to coach better in the playoffs.  We keep getting outcoached in critical games.  We should’ve beat the Chiefs.  We would’ve had a real shot against the Ravens as McD has always had a solid plan against Lamar.

  5. Well, I understand him wanting another year as an OC as who would want to go to Washington?  If McD underperforms next year (I hope he doesn’t), it would time to move on.  If we can land Johnson as our HC, that would be a real change to an offensive minded HC.  That would be nice.

What offensive minded HC wouldn’t want to pursue securing Allen as his QB.

I didn't listen to it - but the loss to KC is still pretty fresh.  He's likely pretty gutted this week, just like all of us.

This team IS in good shape going into next year.  The O-line is set. How many times have we been able to say that? We have Allen, and a good youthful core on offense w/ Cook, Shakir & Kincaid.

On defense, we may see the best LB corps in the JA era next year, with both Milano & Bernard playing, and if Williams can take a step. We're always good at CB, and have good players there.  The line should be okay if Oliver can keep up his great play.  Hopefully we sign Epenesa, and Von can be more impactful.

Safety is the area that needs addressing, but I'm sure we draft someone, and pick up a FA.

The team just has to stay a little healthier next year.  We're right there w/ the top teams in terms of talent.

I like your points, but we need a speed WR, Safeties, and extend Jones and Epenesa.  I’d rather they cut  Miller at this point.

There isn’t a right or wrong answer just was curious as the top 4 seems pretty set in stone

    Patrick

    Josh

    Lamar

    Joey B

after that you can throw names in a hat Id go

    Matt Stafford

    Dak Prescott

    Justin Herbert

    Jalen Hurts

    Aaron Rogers

The only one I’d swap is Goff instead of the lower guys.  He gets very little recognition, but he’s quietly had a heck of a couple of seasons while in Detroit.

  8. Reich did get the most out of Wentz, so would he be interested.  He’s been a failed HC on two teams so not sure he wants to go back to a QB coach.  I disagree with the blunt comment, rather a coach who knows how to get the most out of a QB.

Allen played lights out down the stretch so he’s not the problem.  He played a great game in KC.  He wasn’t the problem and we lost by 3, not 13.

We lost that Chiefs game because our defense was so banged up we had backups and backup of backups playing.  We beat the Chiefs just a few weeks earlier when we had more starters.

Geez, I’d rather I wasn’t reminded of his Carolina stint.

I loved watching that LSU offense. And I could have pass coordinated to moderate-great success.

The problem wasn’t Brady, it was Rhule.  Rhule is living in the past and wanted a run heavy team, and Brady wanted to reach to the talent in Carolina at that time in the passing weapons.

Regarding Brady’s designation change, I see it as a positive.  He was creative and it showed with a win streak once he took over against playoff teams.

  10. Scott, I am so sorry for you and your family’s loss.  You know you are always with us in spirit.  She’s in heaven, but I pray for and the family, as you have to deal with the grief.  It’s unimaginable.

Here is the thing.  If you play them 10 times playoffs or regular season it is probably a split.   The fact the chiefs have won the playoff games is maybe indicative they are more clutch or maybe it’s just happenstance. No one can tell me they could not have won the last two playoff games.

Matt, I agree we are capable of beating the Chiefs, maybe even the most capable.

Do we get a comp pick?

For a coach?  I assume your joking.

As far as Dorsey, I’m always supportive of a guy getting another job.  Why they would choose him after his predictability is a head scratcher.  He’d be better as simply a QB coach.

I like Campbell.  Seems like a good guy and a good leader.  Those 4th down decisions, though, were bad.  Still, he turned around the franchise and led the team to their best season in 50+ years.

Campbell only won something like 4 of his first 23 games and somehow didn't get fired.  Sometimes owners - and fans - need to be patient.

Agreed.  I like Campbell as well and he turned that franchise around as McD did here from our 17 years of losing.  Johnson overall is a heck of an OC, and no one is perfect.

If you had to ask me to choose whether to fire beane or McDermott, I choose beane. Why? While he's overall built a competitive roster, he's utterly failed at drafting gane-changing players.

You know my position on some of his picks, but ask yourself honestly: would you rather have a Metcalf or an Oliver? Basham or Humphrey? AJE or Uche? I could go on, but beane seems to prefer a whole roster of average over high ceiling guys (oddly, with the exception of the QB).

Also, this team lacks speed all over the field on both offense and defense, and I'd argue that the lack of speed on defense is the most notable reason why this team has failed in the postseason.

Lastly, beane's cap management and free agent acquisitions have been suboptimal, and the cap issues are going to do us in this coming season, I get the feeling. So, if you're asking me who's holding the bag of failure, it's Brandon Beane.

It’s not Madden.  You’re not going to have 22 all stars on any team.

  15. I’ve only missed one SB since I was a little kid, and that was a work flight.  It was the GB/ Steelers game.  I may not be fond of either team, but I’m keenly aware after two weeks, there is no more football until September.  The XFL doesn’t count.  I tried to watch those games, but it didn’t appeal to me.  The talent is significantly less.

That can hang with KC.  Maybe Bengals when Glass Burrows is not sidelined.

It is so frustrating we can beat the Chiefs the last three years in a row in the regular season and we’ve lost this many times to them in the playoffs.  I know the Bills defense was really banged up, but we really shouldn’t make excuses.

  17. Babich will most likely get it.  I wouldn’t be surprised if Brady is retained as OC.

I'll put it this way: Desai was replaced midseason for Matt Patricia.

And how did that go?  Patricia is a waste of space just like every other BB disciple.
