Taken as a whole Belichick's, overall record is impressive, but when you look at the one variable, (TB12) that has impacted his record, it's a little less impressive.

    With TB12:                                  249-75 (.769)

    Without TB12, incl. Cleve.:         83-104 (.449)

Impossible to say how he would have fared in NE if they had not drafted TB12 in the 7th round, but one thing is for sure, he would not have had the success he has had.

    Great coach or great QB?

6th round buddy.  Just trying to help, not correct.  Your post is correct.  He’s an obsolete coach at this point still thinking it’s defense and a run game.

Hes the worst in drafting a QB and WR’s.  He’s meant to be a DC.  He just doesn’t have it anymore and the 7 teams not picking him up speaks volumes.

We lost to KC in 2021 and 2022 because the Chiefs had a super team with Mahomes, Kelce and Hill. 13 seconds was inexcusable. We had played our very best game and had them beat.

In 2023 and 2024 we had injuries to several defensive players in the playoffs when it mattered. Our defense could not stop anyone, not even the Dolphins 3rd string quarterback. I already forgot his name!

We are never going to be the Patriots or the Chiefs and be a dynasty but if we just stay patient and get a little luck by not getting all the injuries again, I’ll take our chances over anyone.

Beane needs to work his magic, restructure, move some pieces around and get a #2 receiver and we will be fine.

A little I’m hurt but not yet slain. I’ll just lie down and bleed a while, then I’ll rise and fight again.

    Fight on Sir Andrew!

    One of my favorite Marvisms.

Everyone knows “where would you want to be right here, right now”, and “When it’s too tough for them, it’s just right for us”, but this Marvism always resonates with me given the heartbreaking losses and the will to come back and fight.

As far as Beane, I think he really will get us one to two WR’s and two Safeties.  Probably a DT somewhere.  I’ll lose my mind if they use their 1st RD pick on a DT though.  It would be reckless.

Opposite on NorthSide. The troughs are the sinks.

That’s so disgusting and funny.  I just hate it as I pride myself in washing my hands 20 times a day which is why I almost never get a cold or the flu.  My point is I’m just not washing my hands in a sink where guys are peeing.  That would have an oppositional effect.

Go to enough venues you'll be amazed. In NC since I moved down in '04 women would use mens restrooms all the time. A concert for a female drawing crowd would have lines of men & women going into the men's room.

That I see all the time.  That doesn’t bother me.  I just don’t want to be in the bathroom with a woman.  I’d rather hold it until they are done.

The window is not even remotely closing.  Allen is what 27.  He has 10 more years.

I've seen that in more stadiums than not, barely a Buffalo thing.

Im not saying it only happens in Buffalo, but there are lots of stadiums where guys don’t perform that behavior.  I’ve been to the Jax stadium many times and Miami even more, and never witnessed it.  I don’t care, and laugh when I see the guys, but it’s also kind of gross as I normally wash my hands always after and can’t do that in Buffalo with people peeing in the sinks.

Anyway, I’m happy Steel is coming up, and can’t wait for my first game in the new stadium.  I fully expect the tix are going to be a lot more expensive and am prepared for it.  I still will take my kids up for whatever Sunday game in September is at 1pm.  It’s too hard to make a night game.  Not when I fly back Monday morning as most of the time the only nonstop on SWas that is the only airline that has one nonstop to Tampa.

The absolute best thing to happen to Sam Hartman probably. Sucks to not see all the guys play.

It does, but he showed his skills in the practices, and he doesn’t need to risk injury.  The players who need to play are the guys trying to get a draft slot, or move up a round in the draft.

The Senior Bowl’s practice sessions have relevance to the scouting of the assembled players. For some players, participating in the practices is enough.

This year, plenty of players won’t be playing in the game.

Washington quarterback Michael Penix Jr. has decided not to play, we’re told, even though he was supposed to start for the National squad. Oregon quarterback Bo Nix will play only a couple of series. That leaves Notre Dame quarterback Sam Hartman to take the bulk of the snaps for the National team.

    Thoughts?

I understand as he’s looking at a seven figure payday

Everyone else is gone except Knox. He’s probably not going to change at this point.

Shorter and Isabella, I don’t know.

Agreed.  We need to keep Shakir at all costs, amd let both Sherfield and Harty go.  Draft two WR’s.  One in the 1st, and one in the 3rd.  TKe safeties in the 2nd and 4th rounds.  The rest doesn’t matter as it’s just depth so whatever Beane thinks.

Save whatever $ we have to extend the solid players on the team.

Brady also has the head to head Super Bowl win. Mahomes is probably going to need 8 rings to clearly pass the GOAT. That means he'll probably need to go to about 12 Super Bowls. I sure hope he doesn't come close to that as long as Allen is still playing.

I’ll root hard for the 49ers.

I think you'd have to consider DC now the most dysfunctional, messed up, undesirable location in the entire league.

    Good luck Mr. defensive coordinator.

This will be a train wreck.

He is a solid DC.  He has a mess on his hands, and I doubt he can fix it in a reasonable timeframe.

Hopefully the ownership group is patient.  Sometimes owners need to give someone at least three years to turn a team around.  McD as an example took until 2019 when he had a 10-6 season and that’s on,y because the Jets game meant nothing.  Otherwise we would’ve been 11-5
