  1. Personally I don't really care how well a coach can address the public or give an interview. 99% of the time it's just coachspeak anyway and some of the worst interviewers are the best coaches (Belichick) . It's what he does in the locker room and in the games that matters. Just Win Baby!
  2. I'm not too worried about the D. Whatever else you think about him, Rex knows defense well. He will come up with a scheme that he likes and will be good fit for the players we have now. The O I am not sure about.
  3. I really liked Schwartz but his leaving was inevitable once he didn't get the HC job. I guess his leaving is better now than later and the D will probably still be very good under Rex. The other side of the ball remains the big problem.
  4. The only way I like this move is if the FO had an idea of what Schwartz is thinking. If they know Schwartz would be gone after a year or be very unhappy staying another year as DC then it makes sense to hire Rex with the potential of changing the D and or losing Schwartz now or after a year.
  5. Farewell Smiths.....I was happy in the haze of a drunken hour but heaven knows I'm miserable now.
  6. Just read his Pegula article and now this, Sully just needs to retire.
  7. Good move. The team was good this year because of the D which was Schwartz's doing. Marrone/Hackett's offense sucked with players regressing and is in disarray. I wouldn't mind promoting schwartz to HC to keep an eye on the D while hiring another DC and an OC to fix the offense.
  8. NE treating this like last preseason game. No game plan, resting players. Meaningless W/L outcome.
  9. Whaley no question. Buckey thinking otherwise is ludicrous http://www.buffalonews.com/sports/bucky-gleason-pegulas-have-decisions-to-make-soon-20141225ley
  10. I agree. In the short term the disgraceful loss sucks but in the long term it is good for the future. The game was a reality check on how good/bad this team is and how lacking in quality coaching, qb play and o-line play we have. The loss hopefully forces the FO to make changes. A win yesterday would have given support to the same old mediocrity hiding behind the illusion of a winning record and a mathematically possible chance of a playoff appearance.
  11. bills win 31-6 and we have a merry christmas
