  1. Dog, you in some kind of internet 12 step program?
  2. Of course they could. Didn't you know that UB ignores top flight high school talent that should be playing college ball? Just check this guy out: Top QB Prospect
  3. We saw them walking around and filming. They got some shots of some people using a multi-chambered funnel on a lamppost. I hope that makes it in, because right before we were drinking riot punch out of it.
  4. Scouting? System/Scheme? Only 53 roster spots? I mean, we had no problem signing other players with veteran status. Have you ever thought these guys might be in the UFL because they simply can't cut in anymore in the NFL? I highly doubt Cleveland is saying "no" to Culpepper simply because he'll cost too much. The Bills just made a dumb extension to Kelsay. Certainly that didn't save them any money. I'm not trying to defend the moves the Bills have made, but everyone who thinks this was some earth shattering, poignant article just got lured in by what amounts to a nice advertisement for the UFL. For every Warner and Jackson, there are 51 guys who are doing what they love, but just aren't NFL caliber.
  5. No - you are missing the point sorry to say. That article in no way "proves" that NFL teams are ignoring "better" talent for the sake of savings. If anything, it's quotes from two guys with a vested interest in seeing the UFL succeed talking up their league. Can't blame them, but it doesn't mean NFL teams are knowingly ignoring veterans who could make their teams better simply to save a few bucks. The article actually goes so far as to cite the points spread as proof that the Bills are closer to a UFL team (by the way - as bad as the Bills are, do you think any UFL team could go into Foxboro and come as close as the Bills did? Laughable.). The lack of sound reasoning to make an illogical point is astounding. edit - Yeah there might be some talent in the UFL, I'm not denying that, but you are talking 1 or 2 players per team, not an entire roster.
  6. If I call Wilson a senile old man, it may be true, but it's still a cheap shot. Asking stupid hypothetical questions isn't stating the obvious, it's simply stupid. And I'm not particularly angry about the article itself, I was just pointing out how silly it is that there seems to be a "take my toys and go home" mentality when certain media folks get blasted, when in turn they are essentially doing the same thing to a wider audience about athletes, owners, etc. But hey, if people want to think that the Bills are so putrid that they would lose to a UFL team with washouts that no one wants, keep on believing that.
  7. Cheap shot articles from the media = cool. Cheap shots against the media on a message board = not cool.
  8. You guys know Portnoy left?
  9. Agreed. Show me another band that has sold 70-80 million albums without being on the radio. And +2 for Clutch.
  10. He seems to be content to imply such assurances though, or at least let others voice them on his behalf. I recall when Schumer came here a few years ago, as he was feigning concern about the Bills moving. They spoke, and Schumer left on a "I spoke with Wislon - and I'm confident things are cool" note. If that really is the case, I don't understand why we don't get any such statement from the horses mouth, but maybe there is some unseen lethod to the madness.
  11. To be fair that was McKelvin not Roscoe. And Whinter was robbed by his own family.
  12. Goddam right there is. This has been a longstanding argument of mine against blackouts, particularly in instances where teams reap the benefit of local and state subsidies through our taxes.
  13. So is Littman Smithers?
  14. "You there! Fill her up with petroleum distilate and revulcanize my tires...Post haste!"
  15. I was enlisted for most of the Superbowl years. Took a lot of **** for that.
  16. At this pace he might have twenty TD's. The last qb we had do that was Flutie iirc. Edit: nowadays everybody gotta talk like they got something to say but nothing comes out when they move their lips just a bunch of jibberish The muther-$*@#'s act like they forgot about Drew.
  17. Sounds like a bunch of whining to me. That's not very metal, man.
  18. So many better places for wings though. Unless you are going to the Anchor to say you've been there, go somewhere else. Mamosers, Barbill, etc.
  19. He wasn't doing to bad until he started whining about Bell. Every year no-name RB's tear it up in the preseason. And let's not forget everyone was all "OMFG - how can we have 3 talented backs??" and as soon as we get rid of one it's "OMFG - what did we do to our depth?" and "Bell might carry the rock 2 times this season for the Eagles because they have injured starters - oh noooeeeessss - what did we dooooooo?" Spare me.
  20. You guys know he was under contract until 2012 right? We drafted him in 2007 and he signed a 6 year contract, so he wasn't going to walk for nothing at the end of this season. God I hate internet know-it-alls (looking at you Metal Man ). edit: Bah! you beat me to it. Jerk.
  21. I bet he looked great in practice.
  22. Fitz might not be the long term solution at QB, but he certainly wasn't the problem yesterday.
  23. no Th1S is jst nother b@d mov3 by stoopid b1llls again warrgrlw barrglwe arrhhh!!!
  24. And don't forget he gets to question the decisions the front office makes via twitter, all while sitting on his a$$ collecting that paycheck.
  25. +1 for DiCesare
