Okay, don't take them away. After the first long run, they managed two more yards and got a field goal out of it. After the second long run, we intercepted the ball on the next play. Despite all the holes, the Bills' D gave up 14 points yesterday (I count the interception return to the 2 as an "automatic 3." If the D had somehow held them without points it would have been extraordinary. I might be asking too much in "charging" 4 points against the D for that, but I'm trying to be fair). If an offense is "imposing its will" on a D, doesn't it follow that many points would come with it?

After those two plays the Jets got 1.) 2 yards and a field goal and 2.) intercepted on the next play. They got burned but limited the damage.

I think Cindy was referring to the Civil suit. I do believe that autograph money does need to go at least in part to pay off the suit, the only thing that's "untouchable" is his pension. I do remember the story from a couple of weeks ago about him selling autos at a horror convention. I guess on the one hand he could stop "working" in order to deny the Brown family from getting any more money or on the other hand he could do even more sessions to get the suit paid off quicker so that he could keep more money. But, in the end, it's not as much about money as fame. OJ wants to stay in the limelight, as his stunts of the last couple weeks show....

Tell you what, you can have the Rams defense, which is top ten in rushing (under 100 ypg) and 3rd down %age. With it you'll get nearly 30 points per game scored against you, but as you say, it's all about the run defense and 3rd down %age.... Me, I'll take the Bills' D, warts and all. What matters to me at the end is what's on the scoreboard, and with all the TOP that our offense is giving up, the D is still generally (except once) keeping teams under 20 points, which should be enough for an average offense...Of course, now that I've said this the Dog-ass Jets will lay 45 points on the team...
