  1. Outside of the hold at the end. I was thinking yesterday how he seemed to be managing to hold onto a roster spot with reasonable (not excellent, but good) play, catching the balls coming to him and laying out key blocks...
  2. I dunno, I hear they might be starting "python season" soon...
  3. Sorry, I don't have a link, but something I read in the paper: "It's a real joy for me," said the Buffalo Bills' General Manager (Tom Donahoe) when asked if he can pull off what a lot of people in the NFL are good at — lying. "Any day I can tick off guys on message boards who call themselves 'guru' is a good day to me."
  4. I should be there!
  5. If you insist...
  6. The remaining five all predicted a Miami win. http://hipshakinblues.com/~dan/TSW/MockContest.htm Next week will eliminate 2 or 3.
  7. #13. Donahoe taught guru how to log into a message board.
  8. Sure. It's the universal Buffalo sports problem solving formula: if your offense fails, bench JP...
  9. Well the Sabres can't score, I guess they ought to bench JP...
  10. Who put the bop in the bop she-bop she-bop?
  11. He didn't do Atlanta...that was Fox. Tampa was the other game he did. I thought he did pretty well for a rook myself.
  12. But our defense couldn't stop stojan's grandmother...what team is he watching?
  13. I would expect to see that even if the Bills win 7-0 on a special teams TD... (which is how I hope the game will turn out if the coaches do nothing to address the real problems on offense before Sunday). Shock therapy would not restore therapy to this board (though there are some here I wouldn't mind "making a college try" at curing.. )
  14. Yeah, and the other point was that Mularkey pretty much raised the white flag with that punt, how do you expect the D to respond? 4 minutes left and your O's longest drive is the half is 24 yards, the coach shows no confidence in the offense by punting while down two scores (last I checked 16-7 is 9, not 8 James, though maybe at UConn they teach a new math there...). It would potentially be a different story if they punted while down by one score, but two scores down punting after a 3 and out with 4 minutes left, pretty much says "I give up. I have nothing else." If the offense had tried the 4th down conversion and failed, you would have seen a much different attitude on D than by punting. How do you respond as a D when your coach admits the offense is impotent?
  15. Didn't Mularkey say "If Losman isn't the starter, may a python explode when it tries to swallow an alligator?" Have you seen any football-related threads on the main board that have nothing to do with this week's panic?
  16. She can play better than Bledsoe. Bledsoe's playing better than Losman. Therefore, Tim Anderson will do fine subbing for Ron Edwards...
  17. Mcallister barely made a dent in the D until Mularkey conceded the game with that punt. Then he gets 70 yards in one drive....
  18. No, they signed stojan's grandmother.
  19. fair, like many of the fans here. 60's and sunny, from what I heard.
  20. The flying spaghetti monster.
  21. Here's a topical one: who farted?
  22. Musta been a pretty bad bet you lost... but then again we have a half dozen folks who aren't Bills fans any more because the coach benched Losman... See previous answer about the Bills' Mailing address.... Welcome to our little version of the Masochism Tango also known as being a Bills fan.
  23. See, all you needed to do in order to make this discussion take off was talk about farting! Yes, that's still more intelligent than "he said/she said" going on one board up...
  24. Vote early, vote often!
