All things being equal...or not.

This "culture" sounds and looks like as lame as it gets. Who cares. Keep it -
What's with these 135K a year 'jail guards"
Dante replied to Jim in Anchorage's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Talking about taxpayers getting sold out. Check out the Ontario Teachers Pension plan. Assets over 100billion. My question is how does a public service outfit able to amass such wealth? Fuggin obscene. Fat ass teachers, glorified baby sitters have it the best of anyone in Canada. For a non productive sector of the work force this is unbelievable. http://www.answers.com/topic/ontario-teachers-pension-plan http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ontario_Teach...9;_Pension_Plan -
Your kinda on to something going in the Bond direction. True there aren't many rolls for behemoths but wouldn't she make a good villain in a Bond movie? It would also show if she could really act. Also, Ophrah is plain full of **** on everything.

I don't have to know one detail about the bill to know it's a horrible idea. Anything, especially something of this magnitude, run by the government is going to turn out badly. Actually, with these douche bags in power running the deal, it's beyond horrible to downright scary.

Figures South Parks deleted scenes are funnier than most tv shows out there. I really wish they left this one in but I guess they kinda couldn't. So it's also NSFW! http://ccinsider.comedycentral.com/2010/03...-deleted-scene/ When Comedy Central releases Season 13 dvd set they are going to include deleted scenes. Can't wait if they all are as good as this one.

Another example of the Unions screwing over the majority
Dante replied to Magox's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I wish we had the luxury of not laying people off here. But if our sales can't support employees I have to. Would rather not put them on the employment line but if I don't were risking losing more money and shutting down. Government should operate the same -
How many others are there....?

Wouldn't it be great if the founding fathers came back from the dead as some sort of Team America Super Hero Team? Supplemented by some truely bad ass presidents like Adams, Teddy Roosevelt, George Washington for muscle. And then they go state by state cleaning house of all the nutty butties holding office. Once all states are cleansed then on to Washington to really kick some ass. That would be a nice reset and would make a great TV show I think! -
Bills will seriously suck in 2010!!
Dante replied to ChanOverChin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Hate to be the one to pile on but the Bills will suck in 2011 and 2012 as well. Not based on any wisdomy for sight or anything. Just because they are the Bills. No management. No coaching=Suckage indefinitely. Or until they hire a real staff. -

As I said in another thread. He's just dumb. -
I think that was a black couple and the final city was NY. I remember they were super confident they were going to win.

Whatever "ist" or "ism" is correct in your mind go with it. All I want is the government out of my face and bank account. But they won't because government is a self serving industry in its own right. The more they make citizens depend on them, the more important they are. And thats how they want it. They are a necessary evil and should operate as such. That would mean minimal size. Unobtrusive as possible. Running lean. Think as our country as a huge business entity and the government is your front office staff. An expense that you keep small. If they really cared about the good of the country and economy they would operate that way. Not that many of the admins in the last 20 years or so did us any favors. But this (*^*&%^$^#and his cronies are off the charts. So I don't know what ism this schmuck is. All I know is he is as destructive to this country as they come. The Soviets in the cold war couldn't do a better job in submarining us.

One of my favorite things about South Park is the little nuggets of wisdom that come out of the kids mouths. Like Butter's at the end of the Raisons girl episode http://www.southparkstudios.com/clips/154323/ Or the "What About The Mormons" episode http://www.southparkstudios.com/clips/1542...archterm=mormon

So? Every liberal out there thinks Bush was dumb and he was elected President. Harvard Law Review means squat to me. Why not see his grades if he wants to prove how fuggin brilliant he is? I don't give a **** what this ahole pres was elected to or as. He still dumb. Honestly, I don't have to see his grades to know he doesn't have a clue. His actions say it all. Now I could be convinced he has a bit of smarts if his real goal is to bring down the US as we know it.Not that this is smart but is shows a little planning ability on his part. Maybe this is it! He wants the free market, free enterprise, personal freedom system collapse. Then, he can save us all by rebuilding the US in the socialist utopia he really desires.
-
Not literally. In the sense he does what he wants regardless.
-
Some would call this a dictatorship. I know I would. I used to think that Obama was just a dumb(which I imagine he is since he won't release his university grades), outdated socialist. Now I'm thinking of him more in terms of treason and dangerous.

Nice little interview. Love the parts in bold. Kinda like going against the grain myself. Guess that why I find them funny. MARCH 03, 2010 'South Park' duo: We're not conservative (or liberal) Great interview with Trey Parker and Matt Stone in Huffington Post about the politics of "South Park." Some quotes (with NSFW language): "It was just lame, that's exactly what we're talking about--people trying to claim the show," said Matt, who in 2005 announced "I hate conservatives, but I really !@#$ing hate liberals." When I asked him about the quote, Trey responded, "It's all based on saying the shocking thing. We used to have a great time going to Hollywood parties and saying 'I think George Bush is doing a great job.' We'd clear out the room. I used to love it." "I would never want the show to be a Democrat show or Republican show, because for us the show's more important than that. It isn't for everybody else in the world, but it is for us. We don't want you to come to it thinking, 'These guys are going to bash liberals,'" Matt explained. "I look at it like this," Trey added. "I have a cat, I love my cat and it's like someone coming in and saying, 'Hey, is that cat a Republican or a Democrat?' He's my !@#$ing cat, leave him alone." "Ripping on Republicans is not that fun for us only because everyone else does it," Matt explained. "It's so much more fun for us to rip on liberals only because nobody else does it, and not because we think liberals are worse than Republicans but, just because..." "..it's like fresh snow. I mean how're you gonna rip on Sarah Palin in a new way?" Trey pointed out.

They could move the draft picks they just got from Thrashers with something else to get Kaberle. Burke must be hungry for draft spots since he traded them all away the last year or so. Problem with Kaberle is that he still has a no trade clause. If he doesn't want to go too Buffalo its no deal.
-
Just hear Macarthor gone too Atlanta. No details yet Edit: Gone for a 3rd and 4th round draft choice

Every time I watch this team I always think that they really need a good, big guy to dominate down low. Getzlaf and Thorton style come to mind. Someone to compliment their Roy, Connollys and so on. Hard to find that those i'm afraid. I was reading the other day that Columbus may be looking to move Raffi Torres. That guy is a pain in the ass to play against. Maybe a little spark up front for Buffalo?
-
I wouldn't get too doom and gloom. What really matters is how they are playing when the playoffs start. Regular season doesn't matter that much. As a Shark guy I'm all too familiar with this concept

With all the specialized channels out there on DTV, Dish and cable you would think there would be room for a channel like that. Revision3 website has some of the old guys from Screensavers doing webcasts. I dvr'd Screensavers every day and watched most of them.
