Exactly. My point in my earlier post about that bartender guy. He was pissed at Russel because he got outplayed so he voted for the blonde. I barely remember her and for good reason. She did very little except ride Russell's coat tails and benefited from his strategizing an maneuvering.

I think everyone has to get it through their brain that any form of med care, whether its government controlled or private, is going to be expensive. One of the things that I like about self insured portion is that people will be more judicious in their visits. They will use when its necessary. I can also see people being more responsible in diet and general behavior if they have to pay directly. I think self insure is a good trade off

I like it. But wouldn't it have to be in conjunction with some sort of catastrophic insurance? Sort of self insured for everything up until a major illness or accident.

Sometimes I think that future candidates should be from a pool of business and industry leaders. Clearly, to get where they are, they had to be hard working, wise with money and generally street smart intelligent. Since they make lots of money in our free capitalist system it should be mandatory they serve 2-4 years and they can return to their businesses after their stint. Of course there would have to be some checks and monitoring going on to insure that they wouldn't be totally self serving. It would be to their own benefit to make sure citizens had as much disposable income as possible. As happy as possible. What we have now is a bunch of paid salespeople. Experts in bs for the purpose of gaining power and money. Not motivated to help the country at all. Not smart. They have law degrees so I guess thats supposed to mean their smart. Government has become a industry in its own right. A lucrative career choice. Imho its not meant to be that. It's a necessary overhead to run basic services and thus should be lean as possible. What better type of person to run it than someone who has built something from the ground up and had to budget and plan wisely. Obviously a raw concept I know but look what we have now? How could this be worse? Anyway, just thought id float it out there.

Russel is easily the best player ever on this show. He thinks of every angle and max's out every advantage he can. Even the little nuances like when he gave the immunity idol to Parvity, he said, paraphrasing here, "I'm loyal and stick to my word" as he gave it to her. That was clearly meant to reinforce his bond with "The Coach" knowing that loyalty and his word are his biggest things. Russel is anything but a moron. Last season his tribe was totally on the outs as they were outnumbered and he masterminded the comeback. Your right ajzepp. That blond chick had no business winning. Yes because its all important that the government gets their fuggin hands on as much money as possible. That said. I agree it should be legal. More for the load off the justice system than any desire for those aholes to get their hands on more money.
