I'm really anxious about this game. Right now Canada is not even close to firing on all cylinders. Defense is questionable. I think if we get by the commies it would have to mean Canada played well. If thats the case we have a good chance to go the distance. Going to be a work until at least 5.30 (pacific) so I have to to dvr it.

Chicken wing burger?

Golf, playing vid games(TF2, LFD2, assorted fps's, some strat(Empire Total War) Fifa 10. Watching NHL(mostly Sharks) combined with beer/vodka soda lime. Ritual is this on Saturdays. Prep food. Whether it be a pasta sauce or bbq thing. While doing this enjoying a Sapporo. Watch HNIC Leaf game. I have to cause son likes Leafs. WTF? Have a few more Pacificos. Then start cooking/bbq'ing. Watch Shark game. By this time maybe a vodka soda lime. Somewhere in there we eat. Usually have lots of fun along the way. I'm also perfecting the perfect hamburger. Has been in development for several years and I think I have it down. Instead of grilling it over open flame on the bbq. I use a iron skillet on the bbq. Retains the juices much better and I can control the doneness. Also less is more. Less ingredients in the meat. I also make a great pablano chili sauce to go on top of the burger. Also using nice toasted buns. The culmination of this is a premium burger that I, if I may say, would put up against any other out there.

It's hard to argue with Miller being the best out there right now. Nabokov playing just as well right now. Scary for the Canadian team that these two goalies are out there playing for solid medal contenders.

I thought it was a well made film. Great acting. Photography was beautiful as you wood expect from a Scorsese movie. Pretty suspenseful. Only criticism would be that it was pretty obvious early on what was going on. Not saying here because don't want to be a spoiler. For me, good not great. 7/10

The USA vs. Hosers Hockey Game Is on MSNBC
Dante replied to Steely Dan's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Nice game by the Americans last night. Was afraid of Miller and for good reason obviously. That aside the game last night was a pleasure to watch what ever side you were on. Skill level was off the charts. Congrats to the US -

Now I know why you Southern Californians

Thats because people don't care about you. Now if you really were that person in your avatar you would be getting all sorts of people offering to help you out! jk -
Speaking for myself I know I'm weak. You won't see me on KRON overturning cop cars in San Jose if the Sharks were to win the Stanley Cup Chef. I may overturn a bottle of Tequila though with a couple fellow Shark fans.

I think people who see this stuff on CNN have no concept how big the state is. They see it a mud slide happening in some hilly neighborhood in LA somewhere and think the entire state is sliding in the ocean. My mother is a good example. If she sees a big brush fire in Valencia on the CBC she calls us in the East Bay and asks us if were ok. "Mom, its 300 miles away" Place is huge. All kinds of stuff going on all the time. -
His last 5 or 6 years he was horseback. Pretty intimidating combo. Club and a horse. Dates back to the dark ages I guess lol. His favorite events to work were the hip hop/rap concerts at HP Pavilion. The most "activity" I guess. He didn't like Shark games too much because no one doing crimes

You would think its kind of risky to taze a 67 year old. And you would also think that those two big cops wouldn't need to resort to that. My brother in law is a retired (just this year) San Jose cop and left his taser in his locker. He liked his club better. If you tase someone first you have to go with them too the hospital to be checked out. Regulations in San Jose say that the person that got tased has to be held for observation for 4 hours I think it was. The cop has to stay there for the entire time. Not sure how it is in Oakland but this is how it is in San Jose. Hardly seems worth it in this situation to tase.

Obama's War on Business kicking into gear

Theres no real reason for the IRS to exist except to employ lots of government minions and to be the governments muscle man. -
I'm kinda not even knocking them. They're lovable as hell. Hot+Naive(sounds much nicer than dumb) = Big Fun!

I love that Miss is on this season. I just love her and the whole dumb blonde thing. Shes great. Its also a bonus that the equally challenged girl from Big Brother is on as well. Another blonde and she won I think. Can't remember her name. Should be a fun season if they can make it deep into the competition.

I kinda hate all major social gatherings. Unless it centers around something interesting. Weddings aren't one of those somethings. Have to go to Mexico in April for a wedding. Would rather not but its kind of business related as well so we have to.

Joe. I moved here(Bay Area) 10 years ago from Southern Ontario and I will never live back east. My wife says that she would like to but it would be without me. Even for its flaws California is the best place in the US imho. Really, the entire west coast is beautiful. I could do Oregon np. So if you did move out here, you wouldn't regret it. You might be annoyed(like me) that you didn't make the move sooner. -
Saw it yesterday. Had some ups and downs for me. Thought it was well produced. Nicely shot. Great sets and fantastic special effects. Scene in the Asylum as the doctor is lecturing is my favorite for effects and makeup. The story was good. It seemed pretty faithful to the Lon Chaney Jr original in atmosphere and even the actual look of the Wolfman. Looked more like the 1940s original than say, American Werewolf In London. Rick Baker did effects and make up for both films I believe. I thought the actual performances of Hopkins and Del Toro were kinda flat. Although Emily Blunt was good and very beautiful. My other minor gripe is that for me, as atmospheric as it was, it failed to build tension. Only a couple times was I really scared. But all in all I think there is enough here to make it worth seeing. Especially if your a fan of the original or American Werewolf In London. 7/10

Favorite show. Next to the BBC version of Ramseys Kitchen Nightmares. Not sure if they're producing that any more though

We watched this the other day and I thought it was a quality movie. Well acted, directed and written. But its one of those movies that I probably wouldn't watch again. Not because its not worth it. Just because it's kinda sad. You really feel for the guys cause they're so pathetic. I guess this is a testament to how well the characters were developed. Another movie I thought fell into this same category was AI.

Agree. Laughably bad at times.

Obama Espoused Radical Marxist Views in College

I'm always dumbfounded by those who are jealous of people who have achieved something in life. Along the way they have accumulated a lot of money. Probably created a lot of wealth for others as well. At the same time most likely employed(exploited I guess someone like you would say) people in the process. Providing for families. These people are demonized. But you would willingly and supportively let a government confiscate 50% of the money that you worked hard for through taxation and redistribute it to others that don't have the initiative to do things for themselves. I want I want I want. Let the rich pay for it! There gains are ill gotten and don't really deserve it. This attitude makes me fuggin puke frankly.
