  1. I agree the thief is the number #1 douche. But the kid, with the gold chain, may be a douchebag in training and a potential #1 in the coming years.
  2. Being on the left coast I watch some Kings games in HD. They have a solid broadcast crew and it includes Heidi Androl She's not only hot she also has a decent personality that is not your typical network fluff. This makes her even hotter.
  3. Came across this the other day and thought it may be useful to some. It's basically a folder you make that puts all your tweaks and apps in one handy place. My desktop at home has XP but my laptop is using Vista and this works perfectly on it. This link shows how to do it. Really simple. Not sure if this should be in Consumer forum. http://news.cnet.com/8301-13860_3-10423985-56.html
  4. If were going to talk about guilty pleasures, I can't take my eyes off of "The Property Shop". Something very appealing about her besides her obvious hotness. She's one of the few real estate agents I'd like to know. Not sure what channel its on all I know is we DVR it. Also, a honorable mention to "Living With Ed" I know he's a lefty Hollywood guy too the extreme but I find him oddly funny and he does have some good ideas.
  5. His shelf life has to be near expiration no? How many times can he play the same part? One trick pony I'm afraid. I can't believe he had the nerve to hold out on the "Arrested Development" movie. That may or may not be true but I did read that a year or so ago. Also Mark, just out of curiosity, do you blog on movies somewhere? You probably should if you don't. If so do you make any cash at all? None of my business really but you seem dedicated enough to it where you could get something.
  6. I haven't listened in a year or so because I can't stand that loud mouth cow anymore. Plus their campaigning for Obama finished me off. I'm sad for Artie though. Don't like Jackie either. I think they should dump the fat cow and get Kathie Griffen. jmho. Then, try to salvage Artie.
  7. I think it was The Cure that changed or still changes record labels all the time because they won't conform or sellout by making their music more mainstream.
  8. Your movie posts are great Mark. Nice job. Not terribly excited about any of these movies but we'll see. Maybe Daybreakers or Youth In Revolt might be ok?
  9. And maybe thats it. At some point I did like it because I did buy the cd but after a year of hearing it non stop everywhere I developed disdain for it I guess.
  10. Arguing about music is pointless. Everyone has different tastes. Ramones were mentioned in the thread. imho all their songs sound alike and quickly become monotonous. They seem to be the trendy band name to drop when you want some musical cred. To me, they suck. Personally would much rather listen to Green Day up to, but not including, the American Idiot cd. Though it was pretentious and too far away from their roots. But this is just my opinion and taste and not worth arguing about.
  11. Downside is that the hiring involves work! ugh J/K Good luck!
  12. 1/3 into the season I was thinking that we should have run every play out of the punt formation. Since Moorman is our best player and our most positive plays seems to be his. Crazy I know. Ironic that our best plays are when we are giving up the ball.
  13. I kinda liked that one. "The Alaska Experiment" I believe. But your right. WTF is it doing on the "History Channel"?
  14. I can admit my mistake. In my mind GMAC was still part of GM.
  15. I realize GMAC is the finance arm and to me that makes them a car company. Just a different division. Either way, we have no business funding them.
  16. Don't we get a say? Fug me! Sigh. !@#$ing lost cause. Stop the bleeding. Their product sucks as they get owned by the Japs, Euro's and Ford every year. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/conte...9123002049.html
  17. I agree the ending was great. Just hoping for some more Carpenter goodness!
  18. Yes
  19. That is a nice deal. Sounds like the perfect tv for my den to hook the 360 up to. Is it 120hz?
  20. I have no problem with big-ticket blockbusters if they are done well. Unfortunately for me, being done well includes a story or direction that I can be drawn into. This includes interesting characters and a plot that hasn't been rehashed twenty times with a different skin. Atmospheric direction/sets/special effects immerse you in the story. To me, Bladerunner, Alien are great examples. While Avatar had the special effects thing covered, it was woefully lacking in anything else original or even interesting to the point of being laughable at times. Pour a large amount of heavy handed political propaganda and I'm sorry I contributed to its box office total.
  21. I want one but I'm locked into the G1 for another year I think. I'm happy with it though.
  22. She was. Didn't you see her put the camera down when she smashed the thing?
  23. I would love to be in on some of the history. It kinda looks like the guy is more of a douche than she is a B word. Just judging on what I can see/hear but obviously can't go just on that. I have to disagree on the hotness thing which is of course a matter of taste. To me shes smokin.
  24. Well, I know what I'm playing with if this chick is in my bedroom and it's not the PS3 or myself. Whats wrong with this guy? http://www.break.com/index/angry-hot-chick...riends-ps3.html
  25. I was actually hoping for a Carpenter made continuation of the 80's "The Thing" because I think the ending of that movie begged for it. However I'll take this. Hopefully they do a good job. With updated special effects it should be good.
