I was kinda watching that game while it happend. Sabres one eye, Thrasher game in the other. After it happened Ballard was beside himself. They showed him walking down the isle to the dressing room like he was leaving.

The Skydome, aka Rogers Center, had a Hard Rock Cafe in it overlooking the field. Maybe a good place to start before or after the game. Have had lots of fun there during Blue Jay games

I watched the game last night online dib. There are a bunch of sites out there that stream. Last night I watched on channelsurfing.net I've had to do that a couple times this year for Shark games. The channel surfing site was a nice, clear no buffering stream.

I don't feel right for calling him a moron. I think it's just an unfortunate accident. I feel bad for Ballard. Worse for Vokum obviously. I think Ballard was just totally frustrated. Not uncommon to see a d man smash his stick on the post. He most definitely should have been aware of the goalie. I can't imagine how Ballard feels this morning.

Sabres having a much better period than they did in the first in which they were totally outworked. If not for Miller they would behind. Miller is the best goalie Ive seen so far this year. He has a certain calmness that must be reassuring for the rest of the team.

Total accident but after getting scored on, frustrated Fla dman Keith Ballard going to whack the goal post with his stick, hit goalie Thomas Vokun instead right in the head. Had to take him off on a stretcher. Kinda sad. Ballard looks like he's going to cry. I guess I would to.

I think that the fans are fantastic. It's great the stadium is full. I just wish management would reward such loyalty by striving to be the best. Kelly and others should stop blaming California for the Bills management ineptness. Not that Cali can't produce good qbs, its the Bills that don't know which ones to draft. This entire thing about Cali qb's not being able to play is ridiculous rationalization by frustrated Bills fans and media that are looking for any scapegoat but their own team. Even if it were true how does it explain our qbs sucking in September and October when the weather is nice?

Just outworked. Simple as that. Thought with the long lay off they would have lots of energy. Sabres don't have enough firepower to get off with half assed efforts. Sometimes, teams can get by with a good goalie, a couple power play goals and a bit of luck.

Another good double header tonight out here. Get home just in time for Sabre game(good for Sabres Ovi isn't 100%) and the Sharks/Black Hawks later. Hossa's first game back with them and the Hawk fans are talking all kinds of crap that kane/Toews and Hossa is already the best line in the NHL. Heately, Thornton and Marleau will show otherwise.

Sharks did this last season. Seemed like they really enjoyed it. Nice idea. Long season and it must be good for the players to see some family.

If Ralph were to hire Shanahan asap and get him in it would be a rare good move by Ralph. Why wait until the end of the season? Get in here and assess what you have or don't have. Get his staff together and so on. Not like the Bills are going to salvage anything this season anyway. But, i'll believe it when I see it.
