If the NFL can afford to pay outrageous salaries to its players. Outrageous guarantees to unproven draftees, they can afford to build their own stadiums. I wouldn't want any of my tax money going to build a stadium.

It shouldn't be a lot to ask that whomever sings a anthem can actually sing should it? I could care a less what the musical background is as long as the person is skilled. Letting a rapper sing automatically prevents that.

You know, a lot of people got a big discount because of the Versus thing. I didn't bother trying. I just didn't feel good about it. To me Center Ice is a great package for the price. Even without Versus, I didn't think it warranted a rebate. On the other hand, I happily took the price slash DTV offered when I said I was going to cancel Sunday Ticket. I fully intended to cut the service off because I think its way overpriced. It especially pisses me off that the squeeze another $100 out of you for the "Super Fan" so you can watch in HD. Of course the Bills perennial suckage doesn't help sell me either.

Plus the Bills were absolutely horrid before he got here. He righted the ship and it was pretty exciting for a few seasons. I really wish the Bills could have got a coach like him this go around.

Astute. Exactly the way I feel. Avatar was average at best. Frankly I was bored watching it 1/3 of the way in and was giggling to myself 1/2 through at the cliched characters. When we went to see "Hurt Locker" I was pleasantly surprised at the absence of a political bent pushed on me by some activist director or writer. Just a good simple story about a particular situation men are put into. No comment on the situation itself. I watched "Inglorious Bastards" a second time on blue ray last weekend and I enjoyed it even more the second time. I think it should be considered as well. Two scenes in that movie are Oscar worthy. The opening scene with the Jew hunter interrogating the farmer and the bar/restaurant scene with the Nazi corporal trying to figure out if the American spies posing as Nazis were legit.

Went too "Book Of Eli' this weekend and it was blah. 5/10. Not sure if it qualifies for worst though. Probably not.

Although I'm Sharks I do follow the Sabres and I am a fan. I've watched probably 10 Sabre games this season. Imho, they are maybe a player or two away. I think they are very close to being a top contender. They are built nicely from the goalie out. Nice D. Need a bit of scoring up front. Hell, Myers and Miller alone would be worth the price of Center Ice. For me anyway.
