NFL Rules on Heaters For Sidelines?
ExiledInIllinois replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
Easy. Finish closing the roof. Open it to let grass grow. The grass is growing now... How hard is it to make it like a sun/moonroof now @ HardRock? Or... A sun retractable shade over the hole in roof... -
NFL Rules on Heaters For Sidelines?

It's under a natural gas field... Install an "eternal flame"... Sorry it didn't reach to the visitor's side... Then why were they running around the Bills sideline in September in Miami... With portable sunshades and fans? Miami wasn't using them. -
NFL Rules on Heaters For Sidelines?
ExiledInIllinois replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
How come the Dolphins can add a semi roof to their stadium that gives the home team sideline more shade and a 40°-50° cooler temperatures than the visitor's sideline? Thanks... -
But I was a legacy. I needed new boxes. Are they BSing me?... Supposedly they couldn't push the higher package on what I had. I guess there is no going back now. Got the bigger box with DVR, second TV's STB is smaller... But both work the same... I must have been in stone age. I never bit through the years when they tried to get me to "upgrade." I never knew NFLnetwork was an added channel on Cable TV... Thought it was this magical land like AmazonPrime TV... Thank goodness @BringBackFergywas here to help!

All resolved. I have had cable TV for like 24 years here. I was still on Xfinity Legacy Plan with Legacy Boxes... LoL... changed my plan... Comes to be like $10 more/month... Swapped out the Legacy Boxes with DVR, etc... All good! Watching the Bills finish off the Jets right now! Why didn't Jets kick onside kick?? Dummies... Thanks for all the help... @BringBackFergy 😏

Kinda passive aggressive, no? Maybe they don't want to see out their rear window... Who gives him the right to just clear it, invade personal space? 😉

No. I am Sasquatch the Hippie. Hope someone can help! THIS board has some of the finest health, beauty, and medical minds known to humans! Pretty good with sports pessimism too!😏 Start at beards edge with a trimmer.

Love it!!! This is what it will look like to colorblind people (mostly all males BTW): That was Jets/Bills perfect storm.

@Mike in Horseheads check this out! That's so the people behind them can tell if the car is eating in the drive thru-lane and rudely blocking traffic behind them. I can't believe they didn't have their rear defroster on...

Where was the best hamburger you’ve ever ate?
ExiledInIllinois replied to Another Fan's topic in Off the Wall
This is an easy one. Sunshine Village, Banff National Park... April 1987. Not sure why this burger resonates with me... Outdoor grill? Alberta beef? Nothing has ever matched it. Just a simple, pub style (thick) burger with the works... -
It's Miami Week! You know what that means...HAIKU
ExiledInIllinois replied to Pine Barrens Mafia's topic in The Stadium Wall
Wow... I must have rocked your world saying that haiku doesn't always have to be 5/7/5....😉 It's not the end of the world. This will probably disturb you even more! "It is absolutely possible to compose a wonderful haiku using the 5-7-5 formula. But it is important to know that this is not required to call your poem a haiku or for it to be a good one. The essence of haiku does not lie in its syllable count, word count, or the number of lines (all Japanese haiku are written in a single line!)." What's soooo bad about that? -

That was a test for the strict constructionists! 😉😜 I obviously counted line #1 Beeze as 1 syllable. Line #3 is 2 as in Beasley. 😉 That makes both of us. You don't know Japanese either. 😜 -

ExiledInIllinois replied to Pine Barrens Mafia's topic in The Stadium Wall
Wrong! REALLY WRONG! Myth. Haiku can be anything with 3 lines. 5/7/5 is just traditional. https://haikuhaikulove.com/2017/haiku-and-the-myth-of-5-7-5/ "We’re haiku amateurs. When we started writing haiku we learned, like everyone else, that haiku was written 5-7-5, that is, to use five syllables on the first line, seven on the second, and five more on the third. But, we also learned soon that this is inaccurate. Here are a few resources that elaborate why, so that you don’t need to wonder anymore whether our haiku are real haiku. (They are—they usually suffer from other problems 😬) Michael Dylan Welch writes in his very useful Haiku Checklist, How long is your haiku? It’s usually good to write in three lines of about 10 to 17 syllables. In English, haiku don’t have to be in the pattern of 5-7-5 syllables […]. ..."
