  1. Will play again on Friday at 2:00pm EST. on ESPN and again on ESPN2 on September 17th at 4:00pm EST.
  2. Willis, you are no Travis Henry. Henry will show your ass how a RB is supposed to run. I didn't even think you were that good at Miami. :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: Willis!!
  3. Awesome! I felt he was the most important of the 3. We already have enough problems on one bookend, would have hated to go into next offseason trying to find 2 bookends. Congrats to Schobel, you deserve it.
  4. You are right. There are crazy people down here, but I don't think anyone is crazy enough to drive to New Orleans for a major hurricane. They do however use the Superdome as shelter during a hurricane.
  5. I'd love to see a football game during a hurricane, that would be hilarious. A guy could dive for a touchdown 20 yards away!
  6. The Pats have 5 former LSU Tigers, 4 of them were teammates at one point. They are making it very hard for me to hate those bastards!!
  7. I think WR is the one position where depth charts are pointless because the #2 and #3 WR pretty much get the same amount of playing time. It really doesn't matter who is listed as #2, both will get their fair share of reps.
  8. Surprised we cut Stevenson, I thought he was solid depth.
  9. I really wouldn't put to much stock on this game. A friggin monsoon 10 minutes before kickoff flooded the field, and took away our biggest strength, football speed! I'm just glad we came away with a win, and we will only get better as younger players learn the ropes.
  10. I've said already, that this team is an 8-3 or at best 9-2 team as of now. Our defense is fine, no problems there. Our season totally rests on our offense. We lost our starting QB(Mauck), and starting WR's(Clayton and Henderson). All high to mid round draft pick type talent. You don't lose that type of talent at skill positions and expect to repeat, it won't happen. I knew this coming in. Now the future is bright. We have 3 blue chip WR's(Doucet, Carter, and Bowe), but all are sophmore or younger, and our backup QB JaMarcus Russell took his first college snaps last night, and i'd say he impressed big time for someone who was just thrown in like he was. Personally I can't wait for Marcus Randall to graduate this year, he's been horrible his whole career at LSU. Sat and watched 5 QB's in 5 years ahead of him for a reason, and it became obvious why last night.
  11. I'm friggin exausted! Big props to OSU, you guys came into our house and gave us a game. Going into this game, I knew our defense was solid, but how well our young offense was gonna come together was a huge question mark. I am extremely proud of JaMarcus Russell, that kid grew some balls tonight. Friggin monsoon 10 minutes before kickoff took away our biggest strength, SPEED! I'm not afraid to admit that we caught some lucky breaks. I'll be the first to say, OSU will beat USC.
  12. dammit Lindell, why did you have to have a solid preseason, now we have no need for Christie to stabilize our kicking situation.
  13. Just want to make it clear that these people are not related to me, nor do I know these people, thank you!! Ouachita, La. is north Louisiana near Arkansas, not concidered part of the Bayou land.
  14. 15. I agree. Since some people on this board are from Canada, or overseas, I can understand why you wouldn't be loyal, but if you are born and raised in the US, in a time where the spirit of our country is challenged the most in history, I would be surprised and dissapointed in anyone who doesn't cheer for our homeland.
  16. Ironic, the goalpost is leaning wide right? Why didn't we think of this during the Superbowl? http://community.webshots.com/photo/182295...182297084fHwxYB
  17. I think he'll endup in NFL Europe or the CFL to get some seasonal experience and be back in someone's camp next season.
  18. Congrats to Lawrence Smith. You came into camp as an unknown wildcard and showed the other contenders how it's done. Now don't blow this golden opportunity like Pucillo and Sullivan did.
  19. thats pretty interesting. Will someone please find the damn Texans/Broncos highlight!!

  21. The thing that killed MW is that he was indeed warned that an Appeal was coming and if he did sign with an agent and the ruling was overturned, he couldn't go back. He gambled and signed with an agent anyways, and lost out.
  22. Agreed. That is also one reason why I think Bledsoe will do alot better this season with an offensive minded coach. I think some people forget just how bad Gilbribe's offense is, maybe the worse in NFL history. Didn't we have a streak going like 35 in a row 3rd and short plays that were all passes that came to a end finally in week 9 against Dallas? That's pathetic.
  23. It would have been wrong if the NCAA DID allow him back in. Atleast the NCAA stuck to their policy that once he makes contact with an agent, he can't be eligible to play in college. I know it's not MW's fault, he just thought the door was clear since Clarett was attempting to get in the NFL, but rules are rules.
