  1. +1 Most people were like Huh? Who? on the few threads that did pop up.
  2. Yeah, I'm sure if we didn't have the Bills that $3M would be put to good use elsewhere.
  3. Isn't that the annual maintenance funding they get every year?
  4. Cool, only took 3 posts in for someone to turn positive news into calling others out. Rock on TSW!
  5. Ha! Jared Gaither for a 2nd rounder, my ass! Well played Mr. Nix.
  6. OMG, this is the most important transaction this decade! Oy, the implications!
  7. I don't know, but I am glad someone in this thread is already half drunk at noon
  8. Why not? Just because he didn't play? He was drafted in 2008, and on the roster, not the practice squad. Then he started in 2009. 2010 makes this his 3rd year in the league. Calling 2009 starts his rookie campaign is inaccurate, though I'm sure the owners would like to violate the CBA and call 2009 his rookie year.
  9. After listening to the Gailey presser, it sounded like he was mistakenly referring to last year as Bell's rookie year.
  10. Hi Danny. I must have more discerning taste. I wouldn't drive 45 mins for a sub from there. And I do like Wegmans, just saying in my opinion their tailgate type food is just average at best when compared to other options. As for 25 better sub shops, any mom 'n pop shop in local neighborhoods are better, which would easily add up. JMO.
  11. To each their own. I've been to Wegman's plenty, and if that's gourmet then standards are pretty low. I mean it's OK, comletely average, but nothing to brag about. I'm not believing my ears when people rave about, for example, their subs?! Wow, Buffalo has a TON of great sub places, but Wegman's isn't in the top 100 IMHO. And it's not just the subs I'm talking about either - wings, pizza, etc. You can do better.
  12. I tend to agree. Must be attending the wrong tailgate if store bought prepared food blows your tailgate away. Buffalo blasphemy.
  13. WOW! And people complain about DirecTV price hikes.
  14. Anchor Bar for the best wings and atmosphere, Duffs if you like them swimming in a pool of sauce.
  15. I hope we can get a 3rd rounder from them for ML.
  16. What is that exactly? Fried eggs, pasta, and pickle juice?
  17. BTW, for those who subscribe to HD Access, thanks to the recent DISH promotion of free HD for life, DirecTV has responded with their own promotion (although not publicized). If you subscribe to the Choice package or above, and have auto pay, just call in and get free HD Access set up on your account for 24 months (hopefully it will have gone away by the time that expires). That's 24 x $10, which is free money if you call in to get it. Just passing along some info. EDIT: This is on top of any other pricing discounts you may have been able to obtain as part of haggling for Sunday Ticket.
  18. DirecTV DVR's have dual live buffers of 90 minutes each, which if used wisely can serve the start over function, and a whole lot more. And it works on ALL channels, and without locking the system up.
  19. I thought the big strength of Maybin's game was his supposedly unbelievable first step off the snap. Not sure how that's gonna help him now that he's playing 5 yards off the line of scrimmage. I'm hoping for the best, but wouldn't be surprised either at someone else taking this job.
