  1. Meredith was given the exact same grade as Wood by Buchsbaum, and higher than Levitre. He was also the #6 ranked Tackle in his draft class. It's like adding another pick to last years class (Wood, Levitre, Meredith). Not your usual practice squad pickup - the kids got potential. Plus coming in when he did he was thrown into the fire - this offseason he's on the same learning curve as everyone else. Let 'em play and see what he's got.
  2. Flozell retired a few years ago, and is just collecting paychecks now.
  3. No, but it woulda been nice to see him at least hold off free agent castaway Torbor.
  4. Dead on. It's the same crew every year, preaching patience and the coaches know more than us. How's that worked out the last 10 years? And Maybin's already been demoted during OTA's We won't hear from the patience is a virtue crowd in a few years once he's out of the league. They'll have moved on to their new pet.
  5. Plus he was drafted 26th, not 11. I don't understand how folks think Flowers was a bigger bust. Maybin is already flaming out, and the only thing that awaits is the passage of time so that we can finally confirm he's a bust. Seriously, he can't hold off Torbor through OTA's? Sheesh.
  6. It's reserved for the mentally weak. Whoever uses it ought to be ashamed and embarrassed.
  7. +1 Most people were like Huh? Who? on the few threads that did pop up.
  8. Yeah, I'm sure if we didn't have the Bills that $3M would be put to good use elsewhere.
  9. Isn't that the annual maintenance funding they get every year?
  10. Cool, only took 3 posts in for someone to turn positive news into calling others out. Rock on TSW!
  11. Ha! Jared Gaither for a 2nd rounder, my ass! Well played Mr. Nix.
  12. OMG, this is the most important transaction this decade! Oy, the implications!
  13. I don't know, but I am glad someone in this thread is already half drunk at noon
  14. Why not? Just because he didn't play? He was drafted in 2008, and on the roster, not the practice squad. Then he started in 2009. 2010 makes this his 3rd year in the league. Calling 2009 starts his rookie campaign is inaccurate, though I'm sure the owners would like to violate the CBA and call 2009 his rookie year.
  15. After listening to the Gailey presser, it sounded like he was mistakenly referring to last year as Bell's rookie year.
  16. Hi Danny. I must have more discerning taste. I wouldn't drive 45 mins for a sub from there. And I do like Wegmans, just saying in my opinion their tailgate type food is just average at best when compared to other options. As for 25 better sub shops, any mom 'n pop shop in local neighborhoods are better, which would easily add up. JMO.
  17. To each their own. I've been to Wegman's plenty, and if that's gourmet then standards are pretty low. I mean it's OK, comletely average, but nothing to brag about. I'm not believing my ears when people rave about, for example, their subs?! Wow, Buffalo has a TON of great sub places, but Wegman's isn't in the top 100 IMHO. And it's not just the subs I'm talking about either - wings, pizza, etc. You can do better.
  18. I tend to agree. Must be attending the wrong tailgate if store bought prepared food blows your tailgate away. Buffalo blasphemy.
  19. WOW! And people complain about DirecTV price hikes.
  20. Anchor Bar for the best wings and atmosphere, Duffs if you like them swimming in a pool of sauce.
