  1. 5th Available I think.
  2. He was physical enough to guard Luck for 3 years.
  3. http://www.nfldraftscout.com/members/ratings/profile.php?pyid=83605 Now everyone points to his pro day numbers, I say who cares? I really don't give a rats Bippy what he ran the 40 in. The kid has 3 very productive seasons under his belt, very smart, great team mate and works his butt off. All of those factors are what Buddy Nix looks for.
  4. It doesn't matter they are going to be done anyway esp with Payton gone AND we have yet to see all the player punishment dolled out.
  5. I am with you Frez and will stand on that trade down opinion until something else happens. The draft is too deep and the talent pool too equal to sit at just #10. Also Jim Kelly kind of let it slip about the dangling the pick part after Mario Williams signed.
  6. All of it is Moot. Buddy will take care of this when its time.
  7. With the latest signing on the DL I would do with Merriman what we did with Paup when we got him. I would put him at OLB right behind Mario Williams. Paup was usually lined up off Bruces shoulder making it pure hell to block that side. Or line him up outside Anderson, either way if Merriman can come back and be a productive pass rusher, it gets our best talent on the field at one time. Also It will help Merriman to not have to take on offensive linemen as a DE every down so that will help his Ankle. Looking at the DL right now I think we will ask to have a couple guys (kelsay) take a paycut or restructure for cap room. I wouldn't cut any of them right now as we now have the best DL in the NFL and proven depth.
  8. If he is as good as everyone thinks you take him at #10 period. We add another really good piece to the OL and your OL can NEVER be too good.
  9. Great young man, great Christian, Great team mate, HORRIBLE QB that will never be a top notch QB in the NFL. The Jests wasted picks to benefit from Tebow mania. I am glad, it just further weakens them
  10. Wow must suck to be a Texans fan. Finally make the playoffs then they start letting talent go or dumping it.
  11. Honestly, he should be here. Very reasonable contract, a better backup than what we have now. If anyone in the NFL can make this guy a good QB and get the most of his talent, its Chan Gailey. AND it FURTHER adds to the national attention we would have.
  12. Woo hoo we re sign a 4th string WR. CHAMPIONSHIP!!!
  13. Honestly I think Jim Kelly let the cat out of the bag a little. Nix keeps saying that he isn't going to reach "at #10". I think they have every intention on trading down and getting more picks then take a LT. Just because some 'expert' has so and so rated #1-#whatever does that mean teams do. Nor does it mean they work out. We can get a guy lower in the 1st that can come in a do the job and do it well.
  14. Exactly. he is an idiot and he knows his reign of AFCE Dominance is over. Hell we beat them at home with the 6-10 team we had.
  15. Depending on what else is done in FA/ Draft and how injuries go I say 10-11 is realistic
  16. Based on one move Vs 50 years?
  17. I disagree completely. When has a Mario Williams aka possibly the best DE in football, hit the open market? Sorry but no, these types of signings of guys like THIS do NOT happen every year. This was HUGE.
  18. Trade down and take a tackle or WR depending on how Free agency from here on out goes
  19. Bout Fing time! I Bought my year pass last October!
  20. To me Williams is in the top 2 of DE's/ Pass rushers in the NFL. I don't think we have anything to worry about.
  21. I admit I had the first pitch fork ready and have been one of his biggest detractor, but I can't say anything about his attempt with this move other than good job Buddy. He had given it as good a shot as anyone in the NFL, its just up to Mario if he wants to be in Buffalo or not.
  22. As much as they talk about Favre, its Reggie white going to 'the Siberia of football' that changed that franchise. Draft picks were more opt to re sign when contracts were up, and more QUALITY FA's were willing to sign as well. We get this guy and the same damn thing is going to happen right here in Buffalo.
  23. 'The Bills' offer eclipses the six-year, $91.5 million deal that Chicago gave defensive end Julius Peppers in 2010, a source has told The News. Peppers got $42 million guaranteed, and the package made him the league's top earning defender. It's believed Williams' decision will not be solely based on financial considerations. He wants to feel comfortable with his new team and have a good chance to win.' After all we have seen them do over 2+ days and drop that kind of an offer, Kudos to you Mr. Nix. We will have given it the best and most reasonable shot anyone can ask for.
  24. If he leaves then we can kiss off any chance of any real free agents
  25. This team needs a #2 other teams would respect, we don't have that on this roster period and its going to have to come from Free agency. Heck if I was any FA WR I would tell the Bills 'I am not talking to you unless you fly me in personally like you did Meachum'. :-)
