#2 WR is HUGE as we dont' have one. Right now Double Stevie, stick someone on TE now that we have one and rush the passer. there isn't ONE GUY on this roster outside Stevie at WR that anyone fears or respects.

It is clear they know they have no real threat that worries anyone across from Stevie, they put their eggs in one basket with Meachum and he said no. So now what? I mean they flew out to get meachum and bring him in, what does any other FA WR say to that? People can talk about his guy with potential or that guy on the roster but bottom line, we don't' have a true #2 worth a damn. Almost every expert agrees if you needed a WR you went and got one in FA this year vs the draft.

He is a legit #2 in an offence that has 4 WR's and a probowl TE, not enough balls to go around. On another team his numbers will go up quite a bit

Depth. We gotta address the quality of depth on this team because its horrid. Look at how we dropped like a stone in our W/L column when guys went down. Yes we need to address the OL, LB etc but this can be done in the draft esp with where we draft. I want to see a couple more mid tier guys as depth/ rotational in Free agency then done.

You think Nix just got on the phone at exactly 4pm EST and said 'Hey, come see us' and Mario and his agent go 'Sure thing man!'. Buddy Nix will be considered a good GM when this team is a playoff contender and actually making the playoffs and doing well in them. Until then its just another GM that still hasn't gotten us into the playoffs. I think its done. The biggest FA outside of Manning isn't going to waste time. If Buddy Nix didn't have a deal he and his agent liked he wouldn't be in Buffalo right now

What I love is NFLN shocked and choking on the fact Buffalo is the place he has chosen to go to out of the shoot. Why? As NFLN said when these guys make that first trip right after the start of free agency they aren't going just to visit, its to try and sign a deal.

Ok folks just a few hours before this puppy kicks off. Nix says he wants to be done by Friday. That tells me he has had some *wink wink* discussions with some agents and has an idea on who he can get. I will go ahead this one time and sip the koolaid of OBD and say we shock the world and get M. Williams to play DE and either Vjax or Coleston opposite Stevie. Who do you think will be the big splashes Nix is talking about?

In all seriousness, I prey Nix isn't BSing. Many believe with the 600 available free agents out there teams are going to get better via free agency instead of the draft. If you look at every position in the Draft there are better FA's available. This is the year we need to cut the BS and spend.
