I keep reading these articles where Buddy gets your hopes up by saying we will be 'aggressive' But then again I go back to this in an article as well.. "Those big-money guys that hit the market at 12:01 or midnight ... if you're not careful you'll overspend on those guys and not get what you pay for," Nix subsequently said in a WGR radio interview. "We've been one to think you can pick up good players later on in free agency, and I'm talking about guys like Nick Barnett, receivers that we've picked up." Bottom line SOSDD come Midnight free agent time. He feels he can keep bringing in mid tier talent and say 'but they fit for us' and all the while we still continue to miss the playoffs.

Thank you for posting Mrs. Fitzpatrick.

^^^ This!

Just wait and see. Nix can now go with 'well Stevie would have been a top 3 WR on the free agent market so we got ourselfs a top WR before free agency hit'. Guys do you honestly feel Nix is going to spend big money and make some good, top free agent signings? No. So we will draft a LT with #10 and sign a few mediocre talents and Nix will claim they are best for us and our systems and we will have a 7-8 win.

It's official Mario Williams is a free agent

The best bet is any mediocre talent Nix can get in here on the cheap. He will then say 'they were the best fit for what we do' and fans will buy it. -
Nix and fans both are scared to do anything.

Nix hasn't done anything yet to earn our faith. He is just the next cheap hire of Ralph Wilson that is a yes man and is so happy to finally have a GM job he will do what ralph tells him and shut up about it. -
Now Greg Williams is a cheater?
Toshiero replied to mountainwampus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Cheating. Its illegal as hell and I hope the Saints lose their first round pick this year just for starters. -
[closed]Lee Evans has been cut by Ravens.
Toshiero replied to bigdon's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Hell no. For years I said he was nothing more than a #2 in the NFL at best, but ONLY on the Bills was he over hyped and over valued and thought of as a #1. Guess what? Stevie is the same. -
yeah he is going to NE so he is off our board.

'We have a clear need at (insert need here...) But won't reach'. Why not? Great teams take chances. We will be active in free agency...but we usually wait till the big time guys are gone and get mid tier crap. Anyone else of this chicken poop way of running this team? And fans, I am sick of these guys drinking the Nix/Ralph cheap ass koolaid. Look spend on some top guys, reach some in the draft and take a damn chance. What has all this mid tier crap and stupid draft picks gotten us? We are now in the 3rd year of the '3 year plan' that we were told was the deal when Nix took over and we really aren't any closer to being in the playoffs than with the previous regime. We have not seen a great return on two drafts already so I don't have a ton of faith in Nix and his drafting. What are we taking at 10, another RB or a CB saying 'best value' or 'was tops on our board' when ignoring clear needs? We are now the only NFL teams in the new century not to make the playoffs, Houston and Detroit have even made it. I am sick of the lip service from OBD, its WAY past time to start putting a winner on the damn football field.

St. Louis is trading out of the spot. Nix and Ralphie need to collectively borrow someone's balls and do what it takes and get up there and get this kid. Want to win? Get a FRANCHISE QB, this kid is going to be one.

[closed]Do what it takes to trade up for RG III
Toshiero posted a topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I dont' want to hear any BS about the cost of it. This kid is going to be a great FRANCHISE QB. Again FRANCHISE QB. Those are worth an entire draft worth of picks in todays NFL. Trade our first this year, next year and our 2nd Next year. I don't give a damn, trade for this kid. BTW Buffalo is one of the teams that directly met with him. Address the damn defense with that HUGE amount of Salary room we have. Lets cut the Bull **** and do what it takes to get this kid. -
Just because he is the #1 on a Bad Bills team, it doesn't make him a #1 in the NFL. He is a #2 and that is most likely what the Bills are offering. I would also put in fines out the ass for him doing stupid ****.
-
I am truly saddened. He was the last of them. Hell I still miss 'Fan TV' :-(
-
You need a franchise QB, to still debate this is beyond stupid

Bills most disappointing loss since the Super Bowls
Toshiero replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I remember the announcers screaming that they wished there was instant replay at that time because Kelly's knee was clearly down on that fumble that pretty much ended the game -
From what I am hearing its Colts or retirement.
-
Exactly. As for as kickers go he is damn good. Very solid at worst.

I have said this since I think 1995, the Bills are not going anywhere. there might be 2 other teams possibly that has the rabid fanbase Buffalo does. A New owner can charge 20.00-30.00 more per ticket, and the stadium would still sell out if he put a contending team on the field. No way in hell will the NFL and other owners let the Bills walk from Buffalo as long as the fan base keeps scrambling to the stadium like it does.

Byrd , Levitre, who else needs to be extended NOW?
Toshiero replied to zazie's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Again, try to understand this SJ thinks he is a top notch #1 WR and wants to be paid like such. HE IS NOT and the bills know this and will offer him a contract based upon many things including that -
They are a great franchise, we suck and will until we change owners...like the Pats did.

Joe Buscaglia: Still no talks between Bills/Stevie
Toshiero replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nor should there be talks. They made a fair offer, he wants to be paid like a high end #1 WR and he isn't that and the Bills know it. -
Are the Bills in 2012 a 3-4 or a 4-3 defense
Toshiero replied to San-O's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
4-3 is and has been the way to go
