  1. Why would anyone want gailey as a OC after getting canned/reassigned from a head coach.First, he's look foolish even if such an outrageous move was made. What more do we need too see from the over the hill loser? He drafted his waterbug, yet hasn't a clue how to make it work to the teams advantage, his quarterback is the polar opposite of clutch. He is very jauronesque with his "lost in the headlights" look on the sideline. His quarterback coaching expertise is WAY overblown. I give you Fitz for proof. He has a losing record in Buffalo, was canned from his previous OC gig. Yet, he should become a OC for the losing culture he created made in Buffalo? His team has regressed this year, big time. Any fool that says repeatedly "I don't have the answers" is typically canned in any business Seriously, what is this old farts upside?
  2. If it wasn't for a certain Billionaire. The Buffalo snooze would have went under years ago. This little trick may hasten the inevitable.
  3. My sources tell me there will be a water slide installed in the Jim Kelly Club
  4. We hear that every year, and now 13 years straight. But,Usually not before the 8th game of the season. Of course the Jauron dynasty years had us all spoiled.
  5. That would be great. But, name a single GM of the other 31 teams that would express any interest in the guy. Fitz, couldn't get traded for a 7th even if the Bills ate the rest of his guaranteed money.
  6. Too bad this thread won't die. But here's a bump. I'll take, read, and enjoy any 5 Jerry Sullivan columns in lieu of a single Chris Brown "article", any day of the week.
  7. I would wait on anything in terms of a trade, until the end of game 16. Or as the Bills now traditionally call the end of the season. Nix doesn't only miss on draft picks but his free agent signings are poor too. M. Williams aside, we have the unreal Cornell Green disaster, IMO a quarterback named Fitz, plus other dumpster dive pick ups with names like Merriman, Martin, Morrison, etc. it's a real and growing issue. This old first time GM is in over his head, and is what he is a overpaid scout. I don't even think he's a good scout anymore. It's Doubtful Wilson will clean house at the end of the year, probably there are more pressing issues in the Wilson family. Certainly it's not negotiating a new long term lease. We found that out. D.Bowe may be a stud but who would throw the ball to him? The Bills are stuck in yet another epic backslide and no trade can help this team out in 2012. Other than the lines, and the backfield, it should be gutted by a competent NFL grade staff.
  8. You make some valid points. OTOH there's players who have complained they never even spoke to their head coach while on teams. Smerlas/Levy quickly comes to mind. Really, coddling coaches in pro sports are few and far between. This is pro football, and while sympathy is required, his brother was murdered weeks ago, he's paid millions to play a GAME. He should ask for a leave, if he cannot produce what he's paid millions to do. I still believe his problems are compounded by completely inferior coaching. Add that into a tragic death, and it's pretty hard to get inspired on game days.
  9. The expectations for Dareus are deservedly high because of where he was picked. But saying he's a key star is incorrect. There are virtually no stars on the team much less key ones.
  10. So in the end, A shout out too the commish for guiding Vick to the Eagles instead of Buffalo. At least they dodged that bullet.
  11. I don't understand the hate for Romo. He's far from a blowhard, big mouth douchebag, etc. he's just given way to much press because of the team he's payed to play for. Now, if you want to direct that towards Jerry Jones. I'm on board!
  12. There have been a couple of ex-Bills who have made remarks after they changed teams. One I remember was Coy Wire when he went to Atlanta (I think). He remarked how after leaving Buffalo the huge change in experience he went through in regards to the staff, training, doctors, and just the way the franchise was run as a whole. I believe he went as far as saying he had no idea what the NFL really was until he left the Bills. I wonder in M. Williams isn't experiencing the exact same thing today? Especially coming from the Texans, a certified NFL team. The Bills comments and vagueness are really bothersome with their man Mario.
  13. Nix & friends tore down a perennial 7-9 team, and look at what they've produced? Nothing. Lost in this is a lot of the valued starters & depth on this team right now, are leftovers from the DJ regime. Talk about adding insult to injury. The craziness to let these clowns have 2 more years is the sign of a fanbase, that would simply be content to get to medicore. Sad. Maybe they should have gave Dick ball a couple of more years. I believe their was more upside with that regime. Boring as it was, he to could have eventually "adjusted" Too bad he just didn't hire Gailey (aka Mega Mind) to be his OC.
  14. Ain't that the truth.
  15. You're so generous. You sure there is no one else, maybe a guy who won 2 championships? Ole"Nox" was good too./
  16. Watch the SF Giants close out the wimpy tigers.
  17. LOL! Nothing else can be said.
  18. What you describe above seems pretty accurate and something that's been swept under the rug by all involved. It was pretty disappointing how little effort was made for a long term extension despite the costs. No surprise anymore if Ralph's prize asset leaves when it's all said and done.
  19. On pace for 8 sacks. I don't know. What crap O-lines do the Bills have left this year? You know like the Cardinals.
  20. I never claimed his offense is even the reason I'd like him in Buffalo. I'm sure others will be sold on his offense though. One has to wonder what CJ and Fred would do with him coaching? Actually,Kelly's defense has improved a lot since they lost in 2010. I'm personally sick of retreads, and see as much chance of success with him as say a Perry Fewell, or any number of coordinators that are in the league today. In fact Buffalo has had a lot of them fail before our eyes this century alone. There's a number of college coaches who can make the transition. Most successful NFL coaches got their start in college. I could name names but I'm sure you know who they are too. Watching old farts like Nix, his coaches Gailey, Wanny, get out coached virtually every game shows why they were unemployed when the Bills called them.
  21. Rex, might even buy into it. Problem is day one in Buffalo the screaming for him to start would be loud. That said Tebow has won a playoff game, and Fitz has never even played on a winning team, much less taken one too the playoffs. Most likely Tebow will be out of the league within 3 years, along with Fitz.
  22. I get what you're saying. But, very few cities other than Buffalo tie their Cities "respect" to a friggin sports franchise. Most cities out of the rust belt have a lot of things they can take pride in other than a franchise with one of the worst all time win/loss records in the league. Take note when the Bills play in a prime time game where the blimp shots are of. Yep Niagara Falls.
  23. We get it dude, you don't like chip Kelly. Let me guess Marty Ball is more your style?
  24. Other than wanting to win a national title, I'm guessing money is the reason he said no to Tampa Bay last year. He's pretty comfortable in Oregon. He'd most likely would want to bring some of his assistants who won't work for peanuts either.
  25. He's also going too want more control than current ownership will give him. The turmoil in Buffalo would be a huge negative, the team would need to double any offer he gets. I can't see Kelly in a room with GM Buddy Nix. That would be awkward, too bad the Bills wouldn't even make his top 10 teams he would coach for. Only an absurd offer would catch his interest.
