Bills at Patriots Postgame
Best Player Available replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Big shout out too Chris Hogan for preserving the shutout with a penalty. -
his biggest character issue doing a search is in all likelyhood his,"dedication to the game of football" When a NFL player comes into camp and says " they're going to cut me" and does nothing to change the titans perception, and then gets cut. Only to go to the fish and show the same lack of intensity. Pegula and his staff are simply adding to his $$ coffers. Until he is out of the league. Does he have talent? yea. Talking to fish friends here they new he would suck when he was claimed. And now he is a Bill with unlimited potential and a rising star in a depleted receiving core. Good luck Lynn. Really wish you could have been with a GM who understands building a team. The Bills don't even know who their starting #3 is week to week. Much less NFL caliber depth.

Best/Worst Concerts You've Ever Seen
Best Player Available replied to The Real Buffalo Joe's topic in Off the Wall Archives
best: pink floyd at the peace brige exhibition center. set up their own gear and maybe A crowd of 300 tops. played in Quad. and played very loud. With a full light show. did a lot if not most of ummagumma. or earlier stuff. it was unreal. if you're into that kind of stuff. you could literally stand tight in front of the band who's stage was maybe two feet off the floor. No actual seats had a fillmore west vibe. worst: derek and the dominoes Klienhans music hall. the one and only time we considered leavng a show in the middle of it. Thankfully had seen them a few tmes earlier. This show complete with everybody. Duanne, Nicky, clapton of course were in the throes of complete heroin addiction. The saying " dialing it in" would have been a good review. Clapton sucked so bad some boos actually came from the crowd. Duanne did some nice slide but we thought he might nod off mid show. A stunningly bad show for the talent on stage. -
Its only 3 games

This is a very likely scenario. Although maybe TT can lean on R. Woods and get something going? Some games he has been open a lot. So open TT could have been arrested for reckless quarterbacking. Still only a misdemeanor in most states. -
it seems the nfl has shut down or do shutdown (scramble) most of the streams lately. Not that I would do that. In Florida unless you go too a backers bar. Any sports bar will do. It is easy to find the Bills game iin there. It will be on the smallet tv usually behind a pool table, and with the sound off.

Around the league Week 4
Best Player Available replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wish i could generate interest for this game. Posssibly one of the last chances to see St. Doug before he ascends too the HC throne again. Somewhere. For the doubters I doubt there is not a single community college football program in the US. That wouldn't grab him in a second. -
Whaley has been a complete failure as a GM
Best Player Available replied to Yeezus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agree with some of this but don't agree with the statement that this young talented GM needs some help in the form of an older, experienced football man. Here is IMO how it works if a GM is "young and taleneted" has been with the franchise for years. growing up under the watchful eye of gm Buddy Nix as assitant GM, promoted to gm. And called young and talented but still needs a older football mind for HELP. IMO it is an indictement of just how poor of a GM he is today. These guys are replaceable. For a recent example I give you the Eagles. And their possible turnaround in ONE year. At least their future seems brighter today than the Bills. Good young execs, or GM's typically don't need some hire to look over his shoulder and essentially take away some if not all of Whaley's GM power. No confident GM would even stay if that happened. To me that is saying Whaley is a pay grade above where he should be. Whaley like the entire franchise is medicore but at times approaches average. We need the older experienced football man as a GM. Not a babysitter. Yes i am fully aware of the several good acquisitions he has made. Most GM's grab a few good players. he cannot fnd a QB to save his life. Among other positions. That is on him. Sorry Whaley is well entrenched in this franchises culture from top to bottom of fail. Pegula needs to get the broom out. no time to babysit a gm who has had the gig for a few years. An assistant before being annointed GM. a scout for a nice part of this 16+ year losing cycle. then I question the committment of this owner too truly build a winning powerhouse NFL team for years to come. By keeping executives that are regressing not turning this around. -
Doug Whaley and the Bills learn to be a nfl GM with buddy nix did not pan out. Ha paid minimal dividends. I,blame none of this on #14. He didn't ask to ba a Bill. He has had trash scrub QB's to work with. For the posters that don't like him. No worry's he is gone no.matter what the Bills want after his rookie contract. Just like Woods will be gone next season and then light it up somewhere hopefully a contender. The friggin dumb morons who telegraphed this too the patriots just made the hoddy's** job easier. This team is not even medicore in coaching. game planning, etc. The misuse of their number 1&2 receivers is borderline ridiculous. Clay chronic knee problem, on and on and on. a 100 million dollar weed head. no clearcut number 3 receiver. it is borderline insane. the homers who kiss the ass of every single backwords move these idiots make WEEKLY if not more often. now a 27 million payout due next uear for a qb that can't come close to throwing for 200 yards must less 300. and i like the guy, but he blows this year! There is zero difference in obd culture between the wilson era and the "new era" except a oil dude who is willing to foolishly throw his money away at morons in hopes it will work out How is that working out? Well so far this year the highest paid OC in the NFL is now on his couch collecting checks for two years. good money if you can find a fool tool too part with it. Rex will be getting in on that action too. It's just a matter of when. the friggn raiders will win another superbowl before the bills ever find a nfl QB. well it's only sixteen years 16 YEARS people relax! LOL!

Nah. the hoodie*** always has his eye on the big prize. The Bills still don't realize yet there are more than 16 games in any given season, if you play well. The hoodie*** certainly will run up points if given the chance. but IMO has no malice against rex. There is too much at stake and zero reason to humilate the Bills. They usually do it too themselves and don't need to be prompted. If the same defense shows up that played in the Cards game. the hoodie*** will have his hands full with his QB's they are far from invinsible.

too much tension -
True, judging him to Kelly isn't a great analogy. Some here would be thrilled beyond belief to get in as a wildcard only too get crushed. then all offseason talk about building on simply making the playoffs. others don't fall in that catergory they want a parade with some hardware traveling in downtown Buffalo. I don't know where you fall in all of this. But myself I want a team capable of deep runs for years. This team is not built like that. it is a FO only capable of plugging holes sometimes with wildly varying results. Romo would fall into the current OBD mindset in that sense. an old stopgap QB with zero success in winning with no postseason domination. Kelly at least won 4 AFC rings. Romo at his age, a career playoff flop. (btw i have no problem with his lack of succees since he is a cowgirl.) But having him for single season or 2 would be pointless now. If he can make it through a season. He is who he is. A UDFA QB who had moderate regular season success. I'll pass. stick with the 8-8 seasons. And wait for a competent GM who can find draft and develop players and get this franchise out of medicore hell. I Expect that's still a few years out as the "new era" has too sort through some operational and staffing issues. And learn what a winning culture is. Romo, can't even teach that because he never won anything.

So does the mass hole ex bill speaking. in no way shape or form does smerlas give a crap about the Bills. never has since he grabbed the last buck on his book. smerlaas is about the $$$$$ and $$$$$ only. and most importantly is a turncoat. Thanks for blocking that FG though that got you on the wall jerk.
