  1. Enjoy him now. When his rook contract is up he will be gone unless they tag him. He needs a Aaron rodgers type guy to make him a superstar. And may want one. His second contract will dwarf Tyrods deal.
  2. And at least to game 8-9 during the regular season.
  3. They simply cannot lose this kid. Also, no reason too cut Wood. He can play guard if needed, and bailed some of the scrubs playing guard during his run here pulling and doing there job. He is a very good center.
  4. NFLN saying he could be done in the NFL. Zero interest in him. Guessing Whaley will ink him by happy hour.
  5. I understand the points you're making. I don't really agree on this particular situation. Some, claim LT is the second most important position on offense. Glenn is suitable, not a monster but good. so if he is moved and IMOa less capable replacement takes over the LT spot. How are we improving O-line play. Myself I would look hard in FA and the draft ( which supposedly has a week tackle class). I don't think this is a solution for a 16 game season.
  6. Agreed. Also, if you are a player with say motivational problems. But have a chance to play for a divisional title then playoffs. Maybe they are a bit more motivated. IMO toke Dareus cameback from his suspension in less than stellar physical shape. Some NFL coaches would have handled that a bit differently. Same with old #94 taking plays off for half the season. With zero consequences from his HC. Yea, that's coaching.
  7. Well if the "other" guy cannot play the right side. Because of knee problems or whatever. He has little value to a depth starved team. The fact that the LT position includes covering the blind side. Which our LT seems to be fairly competent at it. I would keep him where we paid him for. His contract was huge. I doubt anyone at the time of signing thought Cordy would be a good swing tackle.
  8. The secondary doesn't appear to be weaker. It is and the dropoff is Huuuuuge. For,those that don't think the team will miss Gilmore (and others) they are in for a surprise. Darby is now their top DB. How was his play last year?
  9. You don't pay a guy like Glenn to then move over too RT. Plus, I doubt he would move over without being really pissed. He is our LT and will stay there.
  10. For many fans. A wildcard game is considered wild success. And that is win or lose. Well it is if you win and continue on in the playoffs. That is a pipe dream. until Whaley is gone. And someone comes in a builds a team for long term success. Understands positional depth. The current roster which a week ago needed 45 players signed to field the pre season 90 man roster. All signed on a small cap number. In part due to horrid cap management. And overpaying both homegrown talent and FA's. And letting guys like Woods just walk because of their complete incompetence. Wake up Pegs! In reality a championship caliber Bills team is a long way off. No matter how many here believe it simply Tyrods responsability. Man they don't even have a kicking unit signed. How the eff Crossman is still here is a head scratcher. This could be a painful year. Like the past 16+. imo
  11. Plenty of recent players named Williams. Translation: Bill(s).
  12. He wasn't going to come cheap. He should have been a Bill his entire career. The Guy is 24 years old. A gamer, and I never saw him take a play off. Bad day for the offense, the team, and his fans.
  13. Makes sense. Nobody is going to f%*k the Bills, the FO does a good job on their own.
  14. Ahhh, Fergusons alter personality strikes again?
  15. NOthing wrong with that. Considering Whaley's track record. They will hit on 1 of 6. The #10 pick. Who will leave after his rookie contract is up.
  16. The Bills have been rebuilding since 2000. And are no further ahead today then 17 years ago. The fullback position looks stacked though. So there's that......
  17. By the time OBD solves that. They will need a starting back, center, TE, still a #3 and #4 receiver, a punter. Whaley has no vision on building a championship caliber team. He will setttle for a single 10-6 season for his crowning career achievement.
  18. [quote name="Rockpile233" post="4277665" timestamp="1489077114" Just don't have a lot of space this year to pay all these guys. Yep, when you a perennial 7-9 team. It gets hard to keep good players. OR, you have morons writing contracts and managing the cap. I'll go with the moron theory. Until Whaley is gone there is no hope. Best of luck to Robert Woods. In the right system he could thrive. Nothing like keeping the homegrown talent. He will be missed. Past Watkins now there is no one. Did the Bills even make an offer? Nice job and again a tip of the hat too Whaley and Overdork.
  19. Yet, for some whaley and too a lesser extent overdorf are golden. Because we killed on the Hughes and Shady trades. How's that 2013 draft class looking Doug?
