Anyone who puts Rodgers over Brady is delusional. Rodgers has choked over and over under pressure. The dude has Benn in the league over 13 years and has 12 4th quarter comebacks. Meanwhile Brady has triple that. It's easy to coast to a win when you have the lead. Not so easy when you are the one trying to make a comeback. I can honestly say, many many times I've seen Brady with the ball, with under 2 minutes, and said, you gave him too much time, as he masterfully moved his team into scoring position to win another one I've never said that about Rodgers. In fact, I've said the opposite.

I never said Jackson was polished I said Rosen was polished. I said Jackson was a better candidate, that is, if they were looking at a project player that's physically gifted, which clearly, they were.

Allen was a bad pick and shows yet again, this regime has no clue what to do with a Qb. From the Taylor/Peterman debacle last year, to the McCarron debacle in the preseason, and now on to another Allen/Peterman debacle, it's clear they have no clue or no answer at the position. We had options on the board, with a polished passer in Rosen, or a much better candidate in Jackson, (and Deshaun Watson last year) we took a sub-par Qb who struggled heavily against every talented college team he faced. Allen was a project pick. Everyone knew it when they picked him, hence the reason Peterman was named starter. You can oogle his "physical talent" all day, that doesn't win games. To make matters even worse, there is zero supporting cast surrounding him aside from an aging McCoy. I hope Allen's performance is judged as critical as Peterman's has been, but judging by the amount of homers on this board, I doubt it will be. Every problem that existed while Peterman was at the helm will continue to exist with Allen at the helm. But Allen homers will use every single one of them to defend him. Peterman has definitely made mistakes, but to cast away and demoralize a guy after 1 year and 10 quarters of NFL football, with one of the shittiest supporting casts in the league, and facing the most elite Ds in the NFL ON THE ROAD in his very short time in there, is in one word....retarded. It's he the next Joe Montana? The second coming of Drew Brees? Most likely not, but that doesn't mean he won't improve and end up as a solid number 2, or a career journeyman starter.

To keep things in perspective, Petermans 4 games in the NFL have been played against the best defenses in the league, (Ravens, Chargers, Jaguars) the other was in Blizzard, (Colts) with the latest in a monsoon. People need to give the kid some slack. The only reason Allen is the starter this week is because if it's going to look as bad as it was last week, it might as well be chalked up to learning experience for your rookie franchise Qb.

We should have drafted Rosen. It's the only decision, aside from not trading McCoy, that I didn't agree with coming from the Bills brass.

Apparently hall of fame Qb Kurt Warner felt differently. I will take Warners diagnosis and analysis over anything Daboll says or does. The offensive scheme was weak, predictable and ineffective.

Trade Lesean McCoy for maximum value to take into next season, with the second most amount of cap space and 9 draft picks already waiting for us, a third for Shady would get it done. What are any of the guys the cut loose doing??? Last time I checked, not one of them were being mentioned anywhere by any sports media outlets if any kind. This team had no talent outside of a limited few. The only way to build a successful long term winner in the NFL is to hit the Jackpot with a franchise Qb, then have a stellar "process" aquiring and developing players through the draft, with FA only bringing in that one or two big time player to push you over the edge. That is the only real winning formula in the NFL, and it can be seen by watching the likes of the Steelers, Patriots, Packers, etc.

At this point it only makes sense to shop Lesean for maximum value. We are not going anywhere with his talent right now, but instead, we can maximize it for the future. IMO, whatever he brings draft pick wise would be more suited on an Oline pick in the near future. The plus side to this for him is he will probably get a chance to actually go somewhere where he has a chance to win now, especially since he's closing fast on the twilight of his career.

It would be easy to pin today's total and utter collapse on one specific person or thing, but in reality, there is plenty of blame to go around. Penalties, both offensively and defensively, killing drives and sustaining drives. Missed assignments, both offensively and defensively. Execution, dropping passes, wiffing on blocks, gap control, etc. Special teams...missed field goals, large punt returns, and penalties. This was a day for Murphy's Law. If the was a wrong way to do it, it was done. Peterman does not shoulder the blame alone, nor does Allen, nor does any one player. This is a team game and a team effort. This entire team, including the coaching staff was man handled today, and no doubt are completely embarrassed by what transpired today. Growing pains will be the theme going forward this year. We are a far ways off from being a consistent winner, realistically speaking, probably 2 years out. There is no quick and easy fix, so bear down, grunt your teeth, and keep the astroglide near by. Oh, OK Nostradamus. Where's that first rounder Ej at right now? Allen was a terrible draft pick IMO, his deficiencies are well documented and observable. Rosen would have been my choice. But....ill support whoever is out there until a change is made.

I don't care what you promise, what is reality is Peterman is the starter for a reason. That reason is he gives us the best chance to win, is further along in his understanding, and gives the coaches more of what they want to see. They will make a switch when they feel the tides turn, if they turn. Until then support your young second year guy and hope for the best.

Well the coaching staff feels differently, regardless of your bias or beliefs. If Peterman years it up, Allen will never see the field. That's not a placeholder. He's starting because he's better, end of story.

Can't stand the comments about Peterman. He's the starter, get over it and support him til he isn't. He's the starter for a reason, and Allen isn't for a reason.

Of course he was. He earned it. He has looked the best by far this entire off-season. I'd be happy if Allen didn't play a snap all year, (unless we are eliminated) and learned from the bench.
