  1. Chris's Bengals have probably done atleast 10 dumber things in the past 10 years than playing 5 games in Toronto for 78 mil.
  2. Shows you how having good players around you and a good pass rush can make an average kid look real good.
  3. Juice may still need to be removed from the Wall of Fame at the stadium before the Bills can fully realize the lifting of the curse
  4. Sorry for not sighting a source, but I believe Chris Brown covered it somewhere in his archives a while back. WGR has also mentioned it on the air.
  5. That info is incorrect. The game will be televised in Buff and Roch even if nobody shows up to the game. It has already been "sold out" from the Bills perspective for many months. Not sure about how it will work in Toronto...
  6. Mentioned FLA and CALI to keep it concise. Point is, the vast majority of our players were from the south or west. VA is the south to me BTW...
  7. Those 2 guys are basically the same guy aren't they? I think, Like with Marv, that if we had a bunch of highly talented, high ego, but self motivated players DJ would be a very good coach. He is a manager of people more than anything. I do think he knows a good football player when he sees one, but he has his shortcomings on game day.
  8. In all seriousness, can you believe he really sees no benefit to practicing in bad weather? This is mind boggling to me.
  9. Oh believe me, I think DJ is a complete idiot for not practicing these guys in the weather, but I will never go so far as to say it's not worth it because of where the guys came from. Our beloved 90's bills were mostly from Cal and FLA too.
  10. I hope this is sarcasm too.... Otherwise it's going a little off the edge. Evans and Lynch are 2 of our players that seem to have very little trouble playing in the cold weather. Playing in Wisconsin helped Lee for sure and Lynch just doesn't seem to mind wherever he plays. You can't get on Lynch too hard for dropping a couple balls when a- He was going to get leveled for no gain anyway on the drops this past game (beleive it, I saw the 2 defenders closing in), and b- Lynch was able to catch some of the most horrific dump off passes I've ever seen in that Cleveland game.
  11. No they didn't. They practiced outside, and when the fieldhouse was built, they still practiced outside on occasion.
  12. I don't think anyone sees it as an "excuse". It's a REASON. One of many reasons things are going wrong here. And the head coach has the ability to change it.
  13. This was absolutely a factor in yesterday's game and it is completely inexcusable. It eliminates half of our home field "advantage".
  14. It has been confirmed by multiple beat reporters for the Bills that they do not practice outside in rain/ snow/ high winds EVER (under Jauron). There's your #1 resounding reason. How stupid is that? They willingly and knowingly dismiss their own home field edge.
  15. I looks just like I remember it. They tried once, then abandoned...Seemingly each time. Mind you, it is a given that both Qb's played poorly for the most part.
  16. The SF linebackers were indeed very good. The biggest problem for me is knowing how the O-line players felt based on their display from the sideline. They wanted a chance at that 1st down and were for the most part, firing off the ball well.
  17. You are right that there were some stops down there, but second attemps were never made. And no, many of the runs came out of base formations. The Bills were playing a cat and mouse game with the niners safeties alittle bit pre-snap. But there were some real good runs on 1st and 10.
  18. Agree with a lot of this..(I was there too) But do NOT claim that the O-line sucked. That was just not the case today, nor has it been for the last 3 weeks. On one of those short yardage opportunities in the red zone (when we chose to kick and not run for it) Our O-line coach was seeing yelling at Coach Jauron and Langston Walker threw down his helmet. They wanted badly to run the ball and were successful doing it all day. Too bad they only ran half as much as they threw.
  19. Not true... Some of his best individual performances have come against the better tackles in the league at the time he played them including Pace and Ogden.
  20. Roscoe isn't going to be cut any time soon.
  21. I definitely see what you are saying, I just don't think anyone would offer a #2. Plus we know what we have in Roscoe while we have no clue what we'll get out of a (likely) 3rd or 4th round draft pick, especially if it's a Center or TE which can take 3 years to develop as 2 of the most difficult positions to learn in Football. Field position is such a huge part of the game and Roscoe benefits us greatly in that department.
  22. Evaluating a DT is just as difficult as evaluating an O-lineman for most fans. To say Stroud is average at best blows up the whole question you ask.
  23. As fragile as he may be, the man is a game changer and a threat to go all the way every time he touches the ball. No way could we get enough value for him in a trade for what he is worth to the Bills. Let's keep our good players. I'm tired of sending them to the NFC. He doesn't carry a ridiculous salary.
  24. The game has already been reported to be considered a sell out as far as Buffalo is concerned and it makes sense (all the seats are indeed sold). The game will be televised. Not sure about the ramifications in Toronto though... edit- What PTS said....
  25. And you're right, it has been. All I'm pointing out is that the guy has really improved. He may still not be good enough to make it as a starter, but most people formulated their opinions on him 3 or 4 years ago and don't bother to notice. For the most part as I see it, players improve or even regress quite frequently in the league. What you know about last year doesn't necessarily mean you know what is to come this year from many of them.
