  1. Looking at their reaction to the KC game. They're having the same overreactions as us. Truth is , both us will be in legit contention for a SB for years to come
  2. You guys have no idea how hated the Eagles are in the Tri State area. They're public enemy #1 and I heard callers b******* about that today but the Gmen fans who are way nicer and cooler than Jet fans absolutely despise Philly.
  3. I like Morse but boy did KC luck out with a younger , more skilled replacement in Creed. Morse will definitely be here next year. I think he missed 1 or 2 games this year that weren't concussion related. Seems to have a good head on his shoulders
  4. What luck SF has huh. 4 QBs hurt in a season. 2 in a Championship game. Minus QB I thought they had the best roster in the game
  5. Totally agree. I didn't even know Jones was injured til midway through the first. Also Hyde. A rusty Tre , a banged up Poyer. 4/5 of them are all Pros. We'll be fine just need a good draft and some mid tier FA hits like Jones
  6. No clue.. Anyone on that field could get hurt at any given time.
  7. That's a reasonable take. Hodgins I was grading based on his time here and it took a bunch of injuries for Dabol to grab him up. It didn't happen early or anything and 31 other teams passed on Hodgins for the majority of the year, so I don't blame our talent evaluation that bad as many have. Didn't know fromm was still in the league but regardless it was a wasted pick.
  8. Knox came on late and was a TD machine late in the year. He's a legit TE , just needs more opportunity in the pass gm. Dawkins graded out as above average but nowhere near elite Saffold was awful and graded out as 1 of the worse OL in the game period. That's out of 200 ol. This is comical
  9. Ya I was thinking that this year. Only issue is you gotta pay them guys. A team isn't going to let a legit talent walk on a rookie deal
  10. Miller had a tremendous impact on the whole dl. Even the whole defense. Everyone looked much better on the line before his injury. The way he bends that corner is incredible and it takes pressure off everyone in the front 7 because how much attention he demands . If he gets back to form I think that solves the problem alone. Didn't Beane say he expects Von to be ready for week 1? That'd be a massive boost
  11. Yea it's wild how they picked up great talents at WR. I think Allen would be in the same position now with Jefferson, I don't know his personality off the field but I think Diggs bought a swagger to this whole offense off the field as well. Which has been important in what they built here as well as the relationship he has with Josh. I like that he gets in his face
  12. The 21 draft looks pretty bad. 3 out of 8 picks already off the team. Boogie and Doyle seem like busts. Hamlin was nice in the 6th. Hope Groot and Brown could take a step This last draft I'm just not sure. It could be a good - great one depending how Elam Cook Shakir and Benford pan out. Lot of potential
  13. Yup. Which makes it that much worse. That breakdown made me sick. Rushing 4 as well is just mind boggling as well. I'll just never understand how they came up with that strategy
  14. As of now Jefferson for exactly as you said but I think Diggs was crucial for Josh in 20 and 21 , just bringing that leadership and energy to the O was crucial in Allen becoming elite and we had legit chances at a SB every year he's been here
  15. In that situation, I hated the flag. I think intent is important and it wasn't malicious, he was just flying to Mahomes. Technically it was a penalty but I do find it absurd that a referee handed them 15 yards after 59+ min of play and a SB on the line. I'd be heated if that happened to us. Never seen this breakdown. Beyond infuriating and completely inexcusable. Unreal
  16. Watching Mahomes rarely throw more than 10 yards all year and watching our offensive philosophy is infuriating. It was the same with Dabol, I feel Dorsey just adopted that offensive philosophy and put his own stamp on it. We were still great in many categories because of 17 but man I'd love to see him with an elite play caller. I think he'd be MVP damn near every year. Mixing in dink n dunking in his gm and the os philosophy is a must. Frank Clark is also pretty elite. But I agree that their DL talent is fairly equal. They caused havoc and turnovers. It was sad to see really in comparison to our guys. Also watching them completely shut down Mixon who ran all over us was infuriating
  17. That was hard to watch. They bullied their ol on many drives, caused turnovers because of the pressure. It saddens me how much better they looked than our DL. On top of that KC had 3 or 4 rookies in the secondary. All about pressure. I just don't see how we fix our DL with all the investments. Von coming back to form would be massive , his twitchy bendable style was a pleasure to watch and certainly makes everyone around him better. He might be our only hope. Jones was also a nice addition and was missed. Still inexcusable how bad they were against 3 backups. If we can add a DE that has Jones impact for a reasonable contract that'd be huge. Good point. I'm not sold on Hodgins until he repeats it and it's not like Dabol picked him up immediately. It took injuries and a very thin wr corps to get him there but nonetheless I'd be excited for him. If I remember correctly he did have a good pre season and many including myself wanted him over Kumerow but 31 other teams decided not too pick him up so I'm still not convinced
  18. Lol. Ya you can certainly go lower. I mean he at least contributes somewhat and isn't inactive but very disappointing value pick.
  19. Ya I'm not a college guy at all. I watch cfb but I rely on you guys for prospects , as I'm nowhere near qualified to have an opinion. I don't even know who he is but if we can get quality on the ol or WR, like to see them be very aggressive It sucks because being idk cfb players like that ill rarely be posting until the draft
  20. Rd 1. Stefon Diggs - A+ no explanation needed. Elite #1 WR who now has 2 all pros as a Bill Rd 2. AJ Epenesa- C- . maybe less. For the 54th pick in the draft he has proven to be a JAG and has limited impact on a consistent basis RD 3. Zack Moss - F. not on the team anymore and was unimpressive since day 1 Rd 4. Gabe Davis - B- . For a day 3 pick he has contributed nicely. He def isn't the answer as an every down WR but is still a legit threat and nice piece to have. Good value Rd 5. Jake Fromm - F. Complete waste of a pick. Total bust Rd 6. Tyler Bass - A . One of the best kickers in the game. Great pick Rd 6. Isaiah Hodgins - D- . At least for us he was as he was never given the chance to touch the field. Kinda like the Wyatt Teller pick. Kid has been balling for another team. Rd 7. Dane Jackson- A . For a 7th rder he has been exceptional in the #2 CB role and even #1 role for part of this year. Great value. Great pick. Overall a solid draft. Probably a B overall , 6 of 8 picks were offensive in this draft counting Bass. We got 4 starters out of it, including Gabe, which likely changes. But nonetheless very solid. But the AJ and Moss picks were huge misses on day 2 and stick out the most. If we hit on 1 or both of them this would've been a great draft class How would yall rank this draft?
  21. Trade up if he is that coveted. The 1 OL we actually hit on was an all Pro. Wish we had Teller still.
  22. Same. I would be screaming feed 14 every game recently. There was a stat where Davis had a 50 something % catch rate between 1-9 yards. Diggs was high 80%, as was Jefferson. Shakir looks like he can be a problem in the slot going forward. He's a nice piece We need a reliable #2 and let Gabe go back to where he was. A role player. We're closer than that last performance but still need obvious help. I'd draft and sign a WR by rd 2 if there's 1 available
  23. I heard this live. The last stat about Buf not having a top 40 DL in pass rush win rate in the last 5 weeks is absurd . Groot he said was closest at 43. That's our biggest problem. Every team left has game wreckers on their DL. Which is mandatory for a SB run. We tried but failed epically in the draft. We tried on the ol too. 2 big contracts at LT C. 2 2nd day picks at T. Multiple vets. Just didn't work out. At the same time. We were 14-4 and first 3 losses were by 8 points. Could have went undefeated in the regular season but we all saw the issues down the stretch. We're a couple more impact players away from a SB. Have a generational talent at the most important position. Beane has to have an effective off season and sort this out.
  24. Yea they were effective all year just never consistent besides the Bears game. It was baffling at times
  25. Motor complements Cook way better than Hines. Ideally I'd like to keep both. I loved the idea of having a Hines/Cook package, which we saw for 1 game and never again . I believe we saw Cook/Hines for about 15 plays that day and for whatever reason Dorsey stopped that package. I always thought that was a package that could be deadly if used correct Hines had 4 offensive reps vs Cincy. Unacceptable. They were a very effective rushing team but failed to consistently establish a run gm. Dorsey just refused and alot of times was predictable. But Motor has proven to be a lifetime 4.6 ypc which is borderline elite and without looking I'm pretty sure Cook was 5.5 ypc in limited reps I believe this is a coaching issue way more than a talent/player issue
