There's no reason to find excuses as to why he sucks. He's gay, that's it. Don't you read the Wall?
-
I think it was the waitress.

Can't say I disagree w/ you on Teague. But, then again, I was not sold on him when he was brought here, either @ C or OT. Villarrial certainly had a rough start yesterday. I don't know if I'd say he's had a rough season so far, though. After the first game, I thought both Gandy and Anderson would be better suited in a drive blocking scheme, maybe something similar to what Dallas ran in their heyday in the 90s. Well, after the last 2 starts, I just don't know. Gandy has made some nice blocks, but I still don't see him dominating his opponent w/ any regularity. Bennie has been getting pushed around a lot more than a guy his size should be. I still have to go back over the tivo of yesterday's game, so I'll be sure to watch them closely again.

Adam Vinatierri (sp) is the best kicker ever

Steven, you have a point about the Steelers blowing that one, but let's not forget that even w/ some dubious coaching decisions on their part, the Patriots WERE MORE PHYSICAL than the Steelers, something you just don't expect. The Steelers lost that game up front on both sides of the ball. One thing that has really stumped me this year is the way the Steelers are hamstringing their offense by choosing not to involve a guy who, on the VERY few occasions he's touched the ball, has looked impressive: Heath Miller!!! When they drafted him, I thought that would be a move that would really make their offense imposing. He needs to get more than one catch a game. The guy has good hands, runs solid routes, and has the ability to make something happen after the catch. The one reception he had yesterday had him running over the defender trying to tackle him and picking up a few extra yards after the catch. Yeah, I can see why he only gets a catch a game. -
You're happy w/ the left side of the OL? Hmm...

Cool. Sounds like you had a great time. BTW, did you ever get the pics I took from last year when we met? That one of you and your family would be a nice profile photo.

Sounds like you guys had a good time, despite the Bills. Too bad I missed it. Wait a minute...

Let's hope you're right. Thing is, they've been getting dogged out for quite a while (here and in the local media) and it hasn't 'flipped the switch'. I do feel that we can beat Atlanta, but it will take a much more dedicated effort @ stopping the run than what we saw last week.

Dr.Z (SI) lists Eric Moulds in his Top 10

Maddening inconsistency? Wow. The guy had 49 catches for 767 yards (a 15.7 avg) and 13 TDs in an injury plagued season! You'd be hard pressed to get that kind of production out of most healthy WRs (especially the ratio of receptions to TDs). I do understand your point on the attitude though. I've said before that guys like Moss and TO in football are like Iverson is in basketball: they're poster boys for their leagues......except for what comes out of their mouths. Too bad; they waste all the good they do on the field w/ the garbage they spew. -
Happy birthday, Ann. Ohio State still sucks though (not as bad as Penn State does......for now).

I think Kiran Chetry is much better looking than Huddy, but neither is unattractive.

Dr.Z (SI) lists Eric Moulds in his Top 10

Yours is closer to what I'd have than any of the other lists I've seen here. Then again, I don't take all the drama into consideration, so that's why Moss would be the top guy. Based on their ability and performance, here's who I'd have as my top 10: 1. Moss 2. Harrison 3. Owens 4. Ward (that's not because someone told me to rank him this high, either!) 5. Jimmy Smith (I have nothing but respect for what he's done, and continues to do) 6. Holt (Good hands, runs good routes, great speed) 7. Horn (as many have said, very underrated; wasted for years in KC) 8. Steve Smith (he makes some fantastic catches and will blow past defenders in the open field) 9. Rod Smith (if I'm going to choose a veteran player, sorry, but I take him over McCardell or Muhammad) 10. Chad Johnson (I feel this will be his breakout year, and he'll begin to move up the list rather quickly) -
She's not going to any more Bills games this year. We're trying to go to one Steelers game together, but that's it. I planned on going to the Jets game, but I'm not so sure now. I know I'll be @ the KC (11/13) and Denver (12/17) games for sure, but that may be the only other games I'll attend, other than the Saints game in San Antonio.

All he needs to know to understand Bills fans: ___________ sucks!

Maybe they read the board leading up to the game last week...

Damn, Dr. Z!! What are you trying to do, kill me? I almost choked on my popcorn @ seeing Moss as the #7 receiver and Muhsin Muhammad as the #2 receiver in the league. -
If they're smart, they don't.
-
Hey Cajun! Man, I'm glad you're okay. Sorry we won't get to meet @ the game this year. We'll have to plan some kind of offseason meeting or something. Be safe.
-
He probably only does it to see how worked up people get about it on a message board. Luckily, we're all too smart to fall for that.

Well said, MDH. It's @ the END of the season that you want to be considered the best. Remember the start and the finish of the 2003 season, aka "A Tale Of Two 31-0 Games"?

As perhaps Marvin's most devoted fan on this board, I feel I must add my two cents here: The easiest thing would be to get "The Marvin Gaye Collection", a 4 CD package that breaks down his work into a CD full of duets (w/ Tammi Terrell, Kim Weston, Mary Wells, Diana Ross), another CD featuring him doing ballads (includes a few standards like Mack the Knife, Too Young, and more-one of my favorites of the set), another that has live and unreleased material (such as his classic rendition of the Star Spangled Banner before the NBA All Star game in 1983), and one CD featuring 20 of his best hits called "20 Top 20s". The set has just about everything you'd want if you're a Marvin Gaye fan (like I am; he's my all-time favorite singer). As for studio albums, What's Going On and Let's Get It On are classics, as are: Midnight Love ("Turn On Some Music" is one of my all-time favorite Marvin Gaye songs) Here, My Dear (made as part of a divorce settlement, it has some really nice gems on it that aren't very popular, but are good nonetheless) Trouble Man (sorry movie, but a terrific album) That's The Way Love Is (released a year before the landmark What's Going On, this one has a ton of great material, w/ the title track being one of the best songs of his career) Happy hunting. You won't find any bad Marvin Gaye, so whatever you choose, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Some could question your desire to "stroll over to the pole" also.

Nice, though I think Bryan Scott is a tad bit better than average at FS. I still don't know why they moved Keion Carpenter over to SS, when he was having a very good year @ FS (before his injury). Same w/ Scott, who had a nice breakthrough season @ SS, now is moved over to FS.

If the offense as a whole doesn't improve, "their receptions" won't be what we would like them to be.
