Bush may be the best player in college football (he is, in my opinion), but Leinart really stepped up when his team needed him. What a clutch performance!

Man, did it hurt to see the Nittany Lions lose like that. I thought the OT loss to Iowa a few years ago was bad, or the loss @ home to Minnesota, but this one was just awful. I love the athleticism of Michael Robinson, but he lacks the in-the-pocket skills to make the Penn State offense as high octane as it should be. He really made some terrible overthrows, and the times he did hook up w/ Derrick Williams, he threw the ball behind him or over his head, taking Derrick out of stride. Robinson's accuracy is going to have to improve for this team to be a Top 10 team. Of course, losing to an unranked team will sting in the polls, even if it is Michigan. That considered, plus taking into consideration the polls' love of PSU, means I expect the Lions to be somewhere in the 16-18 range next week. Congrats Michigan; you won one heck of a ball game!

Va Tech, if you haven't watched them play this year, is pretty damn good too. They can score points, plus they have a tough defense also. Having to play Va Tech over USC is no picnic. Of course, it's a moot point now.

True. You can hang out and post on a message board. That's cool, but don't vote in polls. That's the truest sign that you have no life.

The guy we need to be concerned w/ is Vilma. If we can't get him blocked, and it appears that we may have trouble doing so (just a tad), he could wreak havoc on our backfield.

It has nothing to do w/ the line. Bledsoe just plays better for Parcells than he does for anyone else. Parcells found that missing spark in Drew and is exploiting it now for the benefit of the team. Dallas' line isn't that much better than our line. I don't know why everyone is getting all caught up in the line. If Losman or Holcomb just plays as well as Drew is now, then we'll be okay.

Funny thing was, the Pats were LOSING @ the time......and the Pats won that game by stopping the Broncos, getting the ball back, and scoring.

If you really love all things football, try watching the NFL Game of the Week show. I really like that show a lot. Like you, I enjoy the NFL Matchup show; Jaworski's game tape breakdowns are usually spot on.

I like Tom Jackson better than anyone on any of the networks. I do like the Total Access show though. ESPN should hire Shannon Sharpe. That guy cracks me up. I also like how he isn't afraid to voice an opinion. He tore into Kyle Boller on his radio show (on satellite) after the opening week, and I've seen him be just as brutally honest on the CBS show too.

There aren't many who like either the BCS, the polls, or the bowl system. Many of us believe that the money-hungry major conferences are the main reason we not only don't know who the true champion is, but we're robbed of what could be some classic games in a playoff system. One thing I love in college football is the overtime setup. Imagine how great it would be to see some great overtime battles among some evenly-matched competition en route to deciding a true national champion. They have the potential to put March Madness to shame. Now, as to your jumping on the bandwagon, well there's still a little room. It'll get more comfy once we kick all the Johnny-come-latelys off.

I dunno, Blue. If I had to pick 2 teams I'd like to see play for the title, I may have to say Va Tech and USC. Then again, we still have some big games to go for each of the top teams, so things could change.

More 'probably' than 'maybe' I'd guess in regards to Moon. Other than that, you're probably right.
